It's a Monday, and I stayed up WAY too late last night trying to get caught up on this message board after having internet problems.

But my Monk obsession is again intact. <sigh of relief> It's going to be a great week!

If I can only get this coffee to work...

I was in and out of here all last night with this insomnia again. Finally fell asleep around 8 this morning and slept up until about twenty minutes ago. Makes it pretty stupid to even try to say when I'm back in. lol. So checking in for today--I'm going to be in and out all day and into tonight.

Lucky Charms are a breakfast cereal with a cartoon leprechaun for a spokesman. He has a stereotypical Aye-and-Begorrah accent, as he talks about the marshmallow shapes in the cereal... "Me Lucky Charrrrrms, they're magic'ly delicious!" -- Hence the Lucky Charms joke.

I couldn't resist teasing a bit... Next I suppose you'll tell us that you don't have red hair and pale skin, and freckles.

At least you Wisconsonites can find your chickens -- you don't have to deal with the four feet of snow that we Buffalonians have to deal with year round.

Chicken wing anyone? (You would call them Buffalo wings, but we know better -- they come from chickens -- when we can find them in all the snow.)

Next you'll be trying to tell me New York is your capitol city and you're being annexed into Canada. Buffalo wings, never eat them, too spicy. I prefer chicken wings baked with lemon butter and herbs.

I was in Philadelphia one St. Patty's day (That's when we celebrate St. Patrick, who drove the snakes out of Boston -- they live in Hyannisport now -- the snakes, not St. Pat -- I think he's dead)... And a young woman steps off the bus -- ginger she was, and none too sober -- and says to me, "I'm from Ireland. Where's the nearest pub?"

Being a stranger there myself, I couldn't help her...

And if you were hoping that story had a point, well, then, you haven't read many of my posts, then. But wheresoever a man shall go, there shall he also be.

I'm also going to be in and out all day. I'm going to try to take a nap and then head over to the chat around 6 or so. BTW, kees, if you're peeking, I still can't get the literati window to open up for me. One of my neighbors works at Radio Shack and knows a bit more about computers than I do. I'll have him look at my laptop. From what Yahoo help says, the newer Vista PCs don't have the JVM/Java Virtual Machine program installed to them and Java is no longer offering the download. Yahoo says that's why a lot of these PCs aren't launching the table windows on them. I've never played Yahoo's version of Scrabble but at this point, if my neighbor can help me out, I'd be happy to play either one with you. I have my fingers crossed. If I get lucky, I'll PM you some time over the weekend. Speaking of the weekend, there's a real good chance I'll be fishing this weekend--!!!!!!!!!

Yvette, I don't have Vista I have XP Pro and Java but can't download Adobe Flash Player. I'm working Sun, Mon and Tues, all odd hours so don't know what time I'll be on over the next 3 days but I'll be off Wed, Fri and Sat.

Going Fishing -- wish I was going with you. Love to fish and haven't been for the last couple of years and it's a darn shame 'cause I live on the north side of our largest lake and just across the street from the lagoons which are spawning/feeding grounds for the big fish.

Buenos Noches for those west of the Mississippi and Buenos Dias for those who are east, Buenos Tardes for everyone else.

I have Vista--I have it set to emulate XP but it's still Vista and JVM isn't on it. This guy might have the program on disk or know of another download site. I like to play literati and pool at Yahoo and haven't been able to do that for a year. Hopefully he can get me on.
