It should be a law that every television show series for every season needs to have an ending episode that they can air incase the powers that be suck and decide to stop the show like they did for 4400 (USA network sigh... burn notice really???) Soo many televisions shows just get cut off and loyal viewers always get screwed. Makes me just want to read books and watch movies, with those at least i know there will be an ending.

I think that a fifth season is needed, asked, waited, wanted, and that whoever hadd decided to cancel the serie is an idiot withouth any respect for people, and he/se is treating us as objects, consumers, stop.
About the book, but also about a possible season 5 on TV, please, just do not end it in a stupid, pessimistic way, or something like "we have to understand that we do not need powers to be happy", which is true, but you did this story, just finish it in a coherent way. That title, Promises brokens, is scary.

I too am glad to hear there will be something added to the conclusion of the 4400, I will be watching to see if I can purchase the books when they come out! I also have a question for anyone out there who knows about how to get a picture of the 4400 ball of light as seen on the very first pilot that was aired. I would love to purchase a picture of this or maybe even a picture like the one behind the desk that the healer (Shawn) had on the wall of the 4400 center. Does anyone have any information about where I might be able to get this?

I understand that bringing out a book is a great win for the 4400... and a great win for the witers..
But please allow people to have reactions to the fact that we are not going to get a TV show to end, or as I was hoping for a film, if someone else could put the money to it and bring the cast and writers back together and finish it with a FILM...
They did this with Firefly...why not The4400...

The main thing in the show that was so apparent was the connection that the cast and crew had together. It was the human elemant and each actor brought their own to this and gave it their all.
Of course I will buy the books... But its the cast that wanted to see finish the script. It was the cast that brought the stories alive and held the essence of the show and story together.

Its the cast that I miss and will miss in having a book to finish it. Its not just about ending the story its being able to experience the cast and how they each contribute to the ending...

Thats my take on it.

I'm a big book fan also, but I was so looking forward to the tv series. Someone else posted at least having a 2 hour series finale if nothing else. Could this possibly be true? I miss this show so much want it back so much.

Agreed. I think this would surely get an audience for a made-for-tv movie. A book is fine but once I start a video series, I'm not anxious to then read the conclusion. Lame ending ruins the investment of time in the series. USA owes its customers (fans) a proper conclusion

Better late than never, I guess. Didn't even think of a website until I "took the shot" and found the box set on Amazon. Will look for the book there and keep me posted. Will 4400 ever go Network? Would be as effective as free Promicin for petition signersas may like me could not afford cable at the time.

I have read both of the 4400 books, Wet Work and The Vesuvius Prophecy, and I LOVED THEM!!! I am actually extremely glad that we are at least getting books. I always thought a book is a whole lot better than television, and the now that I have all the images that I need from the tv series, I can enjoy the books even more. I can't wait for the season 5 books. I can understand if you can't read english but for the fans in America, stop complaining about not getting a movie or something, ENJOY THE BOOKS....THEY ARE AWESOME!!!!

Everyone is entitled to an opinion and I don't want a book (and if it is a book series, let's be honest, it will never finish) as a closer.

But looks like hope of a TV-movie conclusion is really pretty hopeless at this point. All the more reason to be bummed.

How many books are there? I want them.

There are 3 or 4 books now listed on Amazon. I am having problem getting on Amazon though, someone has used my eMail addy and since I don't know who or their password, can't order.
