Beard for Bobby no - too much grey/white in it, just makes him look old and tired now, but back in the day that late afternoon/early evening after a long hard day shadow/scruff in the older epis - that rocked I don't know just loved that.

Beard for Vincent - used to love it, but it ages him too much now, too much grey/white in it.

Ah, but that old and tired look just makes me want to hug him and........well, never mind. ::blushes::

hmm...I kinda like the stubble, not so big on the straight beard though, so I voted no to the beard. But Heck Bobby in any form is cool with me! biggrin.gif

Well, ladies, looks like that beard is back for next week. If Bobby doesn't like the razor I bought him for his birthday last summer, he should of just told me! tongue.gif

I'm not a fan of the full beard look for Bobby. I prefer VDO without excessive facial hair in any role and I really don't like the goatee thing.

Personally, I absolutely love the bone structure and expressiveness of VDO's face which is why I have captured hundreds of screencaps of it. Excessive facial hair obscures his beautiful bone structure and IMHO hinders the subtle nuances in his performance conveyed so adeptly through his eyes and facial expressions. My preferred look for Bobby and VDO is clean shaven or a bit scruffy, like in my favorite photo of Bobby.

Eeee....I LOVE that one. You have a point, without the facial hair you can really see those subtle little movements and expressions. But he has so much character, that he expressed himself well with or without it. And when he tosses in those hand gestures and movements...I just wanna :::THUD:::

I like clean shaven Bobby the best, 5 o'clock shadow Bobby somewhat, and full beard, messy, sloppy Bobby the least.

I also prefer the slimmer, in shape Bobby as well. He seems more imposing when he's slimmer, imo.

I'm a stubble chick myself - his, not mine wink.gif - and I don't usually like beards, but he's so damn gorgeous, I dont' care.
Franny
I'm voting for the beard, but like the rest of you, I'd happily (VERY happily) take him either way!

Beard, scruffy, 5 o'clock shadow, clean-shaven in that order. I'll take him anyway I can cool.gif

I like beards on just about any man. It has to do with how he wears it. Dirty-no, but grey is not a problem.

I kind of wish this poll had a third option - "I Don't Really Mind Because He Look Adorable Either Way"

There are new pictures from the next Goren and Eames episode on the Reelblog this morning and he just looks ... oh, fiddlesticks I just run out of superlatives. You know what I mean. "Thudalicious"

No beard. A little scruff is okay but full on "I'm-depressed-that-I-don't-have-my-sheild" beard is too much.

I like his scruffy, five o'clock shadow look, but he still looks good when clean shaven. Either way is fine with me, but i prefer the scruffy, five o'clock shadow look. wink.gif

Actually it should be

a. Beard
b. clean shaven
c. just a 5'O clock shadow
d. I will take him either way, the man is just soooo hot. is my vote!

Even though I said no - appparently it's not an absolute no. There are exceptions. I've see the commercials for the next epi and the pics from the reel - absolutely Thudalicious - and here I've thought, I'd never type that word, but as I wrote above, there are exceptions. wink.gif

goatees are good! As a rule, I don't care for facial hair on men, however, I have always thought that VDO looks good with a beard or goatee. Just not the half grown stuff that makes him look like a bum.

I competely agree. I also like when he's got a 5 o'clock shadow. So cute!

Don't get me wrong - I'll take Bobby anyway I can get him. (giggles to self). But I find that scruff/stubble on a man is uncomfortable in 'close' situations. (wink wink.gif wink). And let's be honest, don't we all want him 'close'? biggrin.gif biggrin.gif

I loves the stubble...Not only because 'hai sexy' but I'm sure he'd appreciate my steady hand when I shave it off for him Monday mornings. Got to go to the office looking his best!

I don't know, beards don't bother me, but then I come from a state where beards are pretty much required on all men over the age of 45. We have a "Mr. Fur Face" competition! As long as Bobby doesn't start looking like a prospector he's A-OK with me!

I am sure that is because of that you are tired o. ... but here you've seen little imaginative:in "close situations," everything can be helpful. I do not reject anything because of a beard

From the beginning, our guy has sported the five o'clock shadow we know and love. More than that is fine with me. He never has to shave again as far as I'm concerned. Nothing like a beard on your thighs!
tlc
The beard kind of softens him, makes him a little more casual. Add the BTSOH and what more could you ask for?
Chestilaroo
At first I wasn't so sure I was a fan of the beard the stubble or five o clock shadow I can handle I love stubble on a man but the more I have watched him with the beard the more I have realized I like him with it just as much as I do without. I would certainly take him either way with no problems.

This is also my favorite look for him. Inbetween clean-shaven and beard. Just scruff. Maybe the poll should have been clean-shaven, beard or scruff? Scruff is good.

But the beard is fine, at the length it is. It is actually trimmed, and at this length is just a bit more than scruff.

Where have you been Chesti? I've missed you. Maybe I haven't been paying close enough attention but I don't think I've seen you on the board lately. At any rate it's good to see you back and I love the beard. Like you I'll take him any way I can get him.
