Just kidding!!!! This is my hubby with full beard (short) and with goatee. I definitely prefer a goatee, or a short beard over what Vince is sporting:

I suppose I do love the facial hair, so long as it's not so long and shaggy....

The "Pirates Of The Caribbean" Disney video with VDO I posted on that thread reminded me that every summer, VDO sports a beard just like the one on "Vanishing Act." Difference is that the show is on hiatus & he isn't taping LOCI. Now he is, and he still hasn't shaved the beard off.

So, either Vincent has refused to compromise his desire to have a summer beard, regardless of how it looks on the show, or TPTB have decided that it hides VDO's chubby cheeks, makes him look sexy & fun, and told him to keep it.

Sorry if this has already been addressed. If not, Any ideas about these theories?

LOL Lozzie. I think Vincent likes his summer beard. In the pics for "Frame," the season finale, he still has it. Along with the dark clothing (and no tie).

Question is - will he be sporting it in Season 8?

The thought has crossed my mind- - little lazy here, a little time off from shaving there, but men usually do that in the winter because of the heat in the summer....I still think he had to do retakes for a movie....whatever, I just wish it was trimmed...

That's a good theory...maybe someone did tell him to keep it (like his wife?) It does hide his cheeks, and it balances with his build. I wouldn't mind seeing it trimmed, though, if it needs it. Just as long as there's some scruff...

Hey, good point! My hubby grows his every so often, never a reason he just says he didn't want to shave it that day...and it grows out so fast its a beard in like less than a week. He turned 40 this year and decided no more "Just For Men"...I like the natural grey but at times I miss his dark hair, same with Vincent.
Hubby looks good with both, and same with beard no beard, goateee...Whatever he is in the mood for is fine by me.

I like the full beard...I think it suits Goren at the age he is at and I think VDO carries it off well.

I also like the totally clean shaven business suit look.

I am not wild about the in between scruffy look though.
