House is not the show it once was; maybe they've mined all there is. Still love Hugh Laurie, but am also tired of House. Yes, every episode has a dying patient whose symptom-thingys mystefy even briliant House until the 11th hour. AND the fact that you can absolutely count on the patient to gush blood from various orafices . . .
I'll watch it as long as it's on; but would be so nice to have less soap opera and more progress. Maybe House (the person) can't go further; maybe that means the show can't either.

Ah, we feel the same way.

I think it could be salvaged: as we agree Hugh Laurie is brilliant. They just need better actors and characters to support Hugh Laurie. Like I said before he is surrounded by cardboard cut-outs. If they did that they would have enough material for more interesting dialogue and stories.

"Oh, Wizard, give Wilson and Cuddy a brain-- just one to share between them" said Dorothy!

I loved the original format with Dr. Chase and Dr. Cameron and even House was less of a jerk. He now needs electric shock therapy because what he says now when he is being mean is really not interesting and just makes him unlikeable. This weeks show with Dr. Chase and Dr. Cameron getting engaged was the best in a long long time. I only watch to see if they will be on. Their interaction is much better than the format now. Go back to what made the program a success!

I agree and disagree, house has too many people and they dont relate the same way with each other because their "history" together isnt as long and doesnt go as deep, but i am in love with house and Hugh Laurie is an amazing actor, so i still faithfully watch the show

Their "history" together is now at two years, and they still are boring and show little caring for each other, and even less for House.

When the show first started, Foreman had just started working for House, Cameron had only been there for six months, and Chase had been there for a year. Their chemistry was immediate, not only with each other, but with House. Three cardboard cutouts have more charm and personality than the new team, and they make Foreman look boring, too.

The show DOES have too many people, but if they got rid of Thirteen, there would be plenty of screentime for everyone.

Enough House already, and your right I can and do change the channel. Bring back Monk, Burn Notice and Psych.
