I found a site w/ tons of interviews and songs from the Monkees and from their 1986 reunion. They're funny, dudes.

Totally true story. I was in college, I was an intern at a rock and roll magazine (the same place where I met my hubby, who was an editor), and Tork was appearing with his band at a local club (it was a dive). After the show I went backstage and he was high as a kite.

So he wasn't just stupid. It was Reefer Madness. That's sad.

But he was a sweetie! Very polite, had everyone in stitches.
