Full Version: My Perfect Ten

Ten, is really a nice round number. Monk likes it. It's nice and even and somehow 'clean' as only a number ending in zero can be.

But I dont have any hard attached beliefs about ten, or tens in general... Except one.

I like to maintain ten items for sale on E-Bay. Or roughly there abouts.

But tonight... It was really bad. I had nine items and a case of the fidgets something fierce.

Nine wasnt going to do it. I could just tell.

I waited a while, hoping something would sell quickly with a But It Now sale, because at least that would knock it down to 8 - and atleast it would be even, right?

But no. I caught some attention but no sales.

So I ended up wandeing around, looking through the stuff I stock for e-bay looking for something worthwhile...

And eventually I found something and posted it and...

The amount of stress that poured off me having it set at 10 items for sale - it was enormous! Like a physical force somehow equivilent to the density of water!

I can only imagine what it's like for people who have a tic like that on a daily or hourly basis. It was a rough time indeed.

Maybe I should try to stock 11... so that it doesnt get past ten so quickly... Well, 12. So it would be even.. evener. For the most part. Most of the time.

...

Maybe not.

Ten is good. It's a nice round number.

M - everyone has their quirks...I got the don't touch the door handle with a bare hand thing. I think it has moved onto my husband too...he says it is a shame that we even think about it but I can't get past it. I just keep wipes handy for those times and my life can continue on.

10 is a great number, just keep it!
