I got curious as to when the next Monk book will be available (July 1st according to Amazon) and could not stop myself from reading the blurb. Coolness. smile.gif

The story revolves around Dr. Kroger. Which means, I hope, he'll be well represented therein.

Not only does the story sound intriguing, but to have Dr. Kroger a key point of the book at this time... Yes, I know it wasn't planned, but still, the timing couldn't be more perfect.

I'm really looking forward to this one.

Dr. Kroger has a major role in this book...it saddens me that Stanley didn't get to read it.

When I saw him at one of the wrap parties, he complained that Dr. Kroger didn't have more to do in the books.
"Why couldn't he have gone to Hawaii with Monk?" he asked.
"I thought it would be more fun with Natalie."
"I don't see why," he said.
"For one thing, she narrates the books."
"She could have come along, too."
"You do realize that it's a book, not an episode," I said. "If I had Dr. Kroger in there, it wouldn't mean that you'd get to go to Hawaii."
"They filmed your first book," he said. "It could happen with the second...and I don't want to be left behind on the trip!"
He was teasing, of course. But I assured him I had big plans for Dr. Kroger for the next book...and that I would get him out of town.

Aw man...now I'm sad that Dr. K never got to go to Hawaii.

I am looking forward to "seeing" him again in your book. Thanks for sharing this, Mr. Goldberg.

Me, too.

(giggles and rolls around on the floor laughing hysterically).

Okay if I am being too obnoxious just tell me. I won't care, but tell me anyway.

(fingers stuck in ears, tongue sticking out)

I won!

Be careful -- you might just freeze that way. tongue.gif

But if you get that book before the hardcover release date, you know my PM.

There a few of us who might push your giggly carcass down onto the ground and hold you there until you dish any important spoilers.

Just teasing -- congrats Kathy!

I am looking forward to reading about Dr. Kroger in the next book, and seeing him get out of town...well the country. I know Stanley would have loved it!
