If you have Season 6 on DVD look at the 3 pictures they picked for it. The pictures are from Season 5. The first two pictures are from Ep: LOTTO FEVER and last picture is from Ep: INTO THE HEART OF DARKNESS.

The cover shot is from season three. Michael did not wear that jacket in any other year. Also he was heavier in s3 than in earlier or later years. The cast shot on the back depicts Nicole from earlier seasons as she did not have the same hair style and her face was fuller in s6 due to her recent pregnancy. Sheriff Turner is not featured prominently anywhere on the box even though she was a pivotal character for the season. There were some wonderful promotional photographs taken for last season. I wish they had dug through those pictures and taken more care in choosing cover art.

Wel I haven't got the DVD box yet, but true they should have picked some promotional pics from season 6 for the back, as for the front...great choice. I do love the US DVD boxes, at least we get some great cover art with Mike on it. Dutch DVD boxes are so boring compared to that.

It's a nice picture but I think he looks even hotter in the promo pics done for s6.

I'm not surprised that they messed up the box. I mean, c'mon. Ever since the release of the season 3 dvds, they've dropped in quality in lots of areas pretty fast. The first three seasons had commentaries on every episode, some episodes even had two. Then they had a lot of cool bonus features like behind the scenes stuff, interviews, etc. But starting with season 3, the sets just got crappier. (not in terms of the actual show, mind you, just the extras) Season 5 only had four commentaries ! The show will always be one of my favourites, but any new sets that Lions Gate comes out with.....they should really spend more money on better extras.

No...what they need to do is spend some money on a finale! Can you imagine the first week sales of a direct to video release if they spent some money promoting it as the real conclusion?
