Hey guys, check this out:
Now as you know in case if you missed it, 2 years ago, 2006 marked the final year for Backlash being under the RAW Brand:
But here are some facts that you probably didn't know about the final Backlash for the RAW Brand:
Fines and Injuries
The dislocated shoulder suffered by Trish Stratus was evaluated, she was out of action for a period of 6 weeks.
In addition to Stratus, Mickie James also suffered a left elbow injury.
Shawn Michaels suffered a partially broken nose.
Triple H suffered a left eye laceration that required medical attention.
On a side note, Joey Styles was introduced to the Lexington fans, called the Heat match, returned to the back, and simply left the building.
and also, here's something else that you didn't know:
WWE received $3250 in fines and was given a 2 year probation period from the Kentucky Boxing and Wrestling Authority for the violations at the 2006 RAW Backlash PPV in Lexington, Kentucky.
and that was for showing blood.
WOW, injuries @ Backlash and WWE had to pay a fine and also, their probation expired this year.
So guys, what do you make of that?

Hi Bubba here, wrestling/sports entertainment is not fake, to a degree. I mean you have to take the bumps and falls with it. It is dangerous and should not be done at home.

Hey ratedrko1, what do you make of the WWE being fined by the state of Kentucky?

I dont really like it.IMO they should know Wrestling is Sports Entertainment and not an American sport like Baseball or Basketball or FootBall. So i dont agree with it.

Well wrestling is sometimes considered a sport.
I mean, they do have High School and College Wrestling, but the WWE is Sports-Entertainment and as for the others:
Wrestling Companies like the NWA, WCW, AWA, The Indies, the old ECW, ROH and of course TNA is referred to as Pro Wrestling.
and so, the WWE likes to call it Sports-Entertainment b/c of the controversy and Soap Opera Storylines and stuff like that.

I dont really have a problem with it being called Sports Entertainment but i hate how they call the WRESTLERS,''Super Stars''.I dont like that because there WRESTLERS!

Exactly, that's what Joey Styles and Jim Cornette were talking about.
and plus, the WWE use to be called Professional Wrestling, until the controversial Attitude Era later called themselves Sports Entertainment.
and whenever I think of the name Sports Entertainment, I think of Rollerderby.
It's a Sport, but it's also Entertainment.
