I just finished the 4th season and came here to find out when the next season is going to start and what do you know, it's canceled.
You got to be kidding me.... There's nothing worse than ending a show without ending the story.
I will not watch a single more minute of the USA network until they've brought the 4400 back.
Unbelievable!

Welcome! I think it's safe to say that most of us share your sentiments. Hope you'll join us in expressing our disapproval of USA's decision.

Hi Bubba here, from what I read, I don't think it went over all that well. Some folks don't like it.

Dude, I'm in the same boat. I've actually been watching the series since it premiered as a miniseries, so I was unpleasantly surprised to find that my favorite summer show wasn't going to be on this summer. Especially after the Season 4 Finale!!! Can you say confusing? I don't understand it either- it's clearly one of the smartest shows on television and definitely the smartest on during the summer. Let's face it, if ABC can make a show about people going on a stupid Japanese gameshow, USA should keep The 4400 on. And it's way better than Heroes, no offense to the Heroes fans or anything, because it has that unique plot and the suspense of not knowing what the people in the future will throw at them next.
And I'm sure I'm not telling you guys anything you don't already know. This is severely disappointing.

I know the feeling well. Family of ours only recently saw it on DVD and happened to recommend it. My husband and I got completely hooked and now come to find out that it has been canceled due to not enough support. o.O
If I'd known about it, then I'd have been watching it regularly. Poor advertising and strange showtimes don't mix well. A good way to keep people from ever knowing about it.
I don't particularly care where it would be aired, but if it was, I'd definitely keep up with the show. I really hope they see that there is still potential for the 4400s.
As for the comment about people not liking it. Lots of people don't like a great many things, yet they still find their way onto television. At least this was a great show instead of something stupid. (Great enough to promt me to get off my hiney and add my two cents worth here, something I've never done before.)
Keep up the protests... hopefully someone will listen.
