Steiner rips up everyone in latest interview...

The Baltimore Sun has a new interview up with Hulk Hogan where he essentially rips into everyone...except Hulk Hogan. Highlights are below.

On Triple H: Look at Triple H's career before he started (having sex with) the boss' daughter: He lost to Ultimate Warrior in 30 seconds; he was losing to guys like Alex Wright in WCW; he lost to one of the Godwins in a pig slop match. And then all of a sudden he's [having sex with] the boss' daughter and he's the toughest guy in the world. I'm not the only guy who thinks that. It's no secret what Kurt Angle thought of Triple H and Shawn Michaels. Here's one story I got from Kurt: Triple H was trying to block Kurt Angle from winning the [WWE] world title. He said in a meeting, "I think Kurt Angle's too small." And Jerry Brisco stood up and said, "Well, what do you think would happen if you guys fought for real?" And he sat down, shut his mouth and they ran with it.

On Shawn Michaels: Shawn Michaels is one of those wise-cracking guys who would say a smart comment to you, but then if you face him, he would run and cry somewhere. That's exactly what happened one time when he was cutting down the Harris Brothers – I think it was Don Harris. Finally, he had enough. He waited until Shawn Michaels got in the room, kicked everybody out of the room, shut the door, grabbed him by the neck and was going to pound the [heck] out of him. A tear came down his eye. He turned around, started laughing and walked out. That is Shawn Michaels in a nutshell.

On Ric Flair: As for Ric Flair, I could go on and on. I was there one time when we were doing TV tapings at Center Stage [in Atlanta], and Rick Rude followed Flair around for about an hour and just totally blistered him. He told him he looked like hell and he was friends with the booker, totally blistering him. Finally, Flair had enough, left and did not come back to Center Stage until after the TV taping started. People think I'm making this stuff up.

On Hulk Hogan: The main guy you have to have respect for is Hogan. Hogan was the man. I remember when I was [in WWE], Chief Jay Strongbow used to call him the golden goose. He always said he could lay a golden egg. That was the respect that Hogan had – because he drew. The greatest is the one who draws the money. Would you rather be a 16-time world champion like Flair or would you rather be like Bruno, who had a 10-year run like he had and always sold out Madison Square Garden? That's respect, man.

On Steve Austin & The Rock:You have to respect the guys that have set attendance records and drew a lot of money – like "Stone Cold" Steve Austin. And, of course, The Rock, not only for what he's done in wrestling, but what he's doing right now in the movies, which is unprecedented, where a wrestler has been so successful in Hollywood.

On Kurt Angle: One of the guys that I most respect is Kurt Angle. When he left WWE, I think a lot of people thought he was the best wrestler there. Not only that, but he was an Olympic champion. I think a lot of people don't realize how hard it is to be an Olympic champion. Wrestlers in general I respect, because it's a hard life.

The only thing that I got to say is this:

I like Austin and Kurt Angle, but Scott Steiner praising Hulk Hogan?

PLEASE!

and about his comments on Guaranteed Contracts, that's the reason for WCW's Downfall.

and plus, Hogan is all about money and Scott Steiner is about ego.

Now, I do like Rick Steiner, he's a decent person in the Locker Room and STING and Goldberg respects him, but I do agree with some things that Scott Steiner has said, but the only thing that I disagree on is about Hulk Hogan.

Hulk Hogan is NOT a well respected person to many, especially after the way he has been acting lately.

and not to be off topic, but Bruno Sammartino calls Hulk Hogan a myth.

I have nothing against Scott Steiner, but Hogan is NOT God, especially after he blamed God for what happend to Nick Hogan.

DISGUSTING!

What a fracking bitter guy. Face it Steiner HHH is light years better than you. He'll be remembered more often than you will so shut your mouth.

See above. One more thing Steiner doesn't even stand in Shawn's shadow. He's non existent when put against Shawn Michaels.

Wow this guy talks crap about the one True legend if there ever was one, Ric Flair, but then says he respects Hulk Hogan. What a dumb crap.

Well I'm not a fan of Triple H or HBK, but I do like Austin and Kurt Angle.

and as for Hulk Hogan?

Not a chance.

I mean, he's the reason why WCW was dying.

Hogan's Guaranteed Money and having creative control over his TV character was one of the biggest downfalls in WCW and Eric Bischoff making Hogan the WCW World Heavyweight Champion was another reason for that.

I have nothing against Scott Steiner, but for him to praise Hogan is no surprise.

He ditched his own Tag Team Partner Rick Steiner and STING for the nWo b/c it was all about the money.

Hogan, Scott and Goldberg had Big Paychecks, but they also had Big Egos.

I respect Goldberg, I just wish that he would think more about the fans and not just about the money.

and plus, Scott Steiner doesn't like Vince McMahon, but he likes Eric Bischoff which is no surprise as well.

I mean, he was the one that gave Scott Steiner the name Big Poppa Pump.

Hi Bubba here, I don't agree with what Steiner is saying. I can understand about Hogan, but the other guys who work their butts off, please.
tnalockdownfan
You're right about that ratedrko1

But also, STING, Bret Hart, Stone Cold and Victoria has lots of close friends in and out of the Wrestling Business:

STING is close friends w/Goldberg, Bret Hart, Rick Steiner, Booker T. and even A.J. Styles and many others from WCW and TNA.

Bret Hart is close friends w/Stone Cold Steve Austin, STING and Goldberg and he also has respect for the other athletes including Booker T.

Victoria is close friends w/many people including Torrie Wilson, Trish Stratus, Lita, Ivory, Molly Holly, Jackie Gayda, Dawn Marie, Stacy Keibler, Jazz, Nidia, Gail Kim, Christy Hemme and of course Lilian Garcia as well as Candice Michelle, Mickie James, Tommy Dreamer, Shelton Benjamin and even CM Punk, The Hardys and Gregory Helms and Velvet Sky.

Oh, and Torrie Wilson is still close friends w/Stacy Keibler, Sharmell and Former WCW Nitro Girl Kimberly Page.

Thank you Bubba for stating what i have been thinking. The guy is bitter that he can't be like Hogan and just get a free ride and he's bitter that he can't do the things and make the impact that Ric Flair, The Rock, SCSA, Shawn Michaels, and HHH have made.
tnalockdownfan
Well that's your opinion and I respect it.

But as far as I'm concerned:

Hogan, Steiner and The Game are all in the same.

They're all about the money.

and for him to say about Guaranteed Money, that's the reason why WCW crumbled.

and that's my opinion.
