Full Version: Memorial Day
Hey guys...there is no marathon for this holiday weekend...USA has NCIS! I was very confused. I always look forward to a marathon on the holiday so I can veg out...now I will have to go and doing something! What is everyone doing???

What is everyone doing???Yes, I know! I was very disappointed. They showed NCIS all day yesterday, which meant they did NOT show Monk! I don't really have any plans for the long weekend. I may have my own marathon this weekend. I also plan on cooking out and swimming on Monday.
Personally I have the Tony Shalhoub stalker program taped into my DVR--30 Monkisodes and 10 Wingasodes. I'm set through Father's day.
I'm watching a Wingasode right now--The Lady Vanishes. I can't stop laughing!

I was shocked too! Fortunate for me though, i have the monk set series 1-5 so I'm good for a while.
That's interesting. The only thing I can think is that maybe the other show's viewers felt "jilted" that their shows weren't being given the same treatment as "Monk" (well the reason is obvious, right? 
OF course, with the DVD sets out, we can have our own marathons (sans commericals!!)!

I have seasons 1-5 too. I had my own Marathon last night and will have another one tonight.

It's good that I have a DVR and all my Monk DVD"S to keep me going. I guess I will be having my own marathon.
No other big plans for the weekend except I am assisting a Minister at a wedding tomorrow night.

I also have seasons 1-5. I find myself having Monk-a-thons every weekend. I watch them while grading my students papers from school!

So that is keeping me busy for a while. I really love the Marathons though. Sigh................
Well, my husband and I are going to go see Indiana Jones and the Crystal Skull. Hope it is a good as everyone is saying.

Just prior to a new seasonette beginning.
Don't remember any other ones on any occasion except those. I am, also, gone most holidays during Spring, Summer, Fall, so I coulda missed quite a few.

What is everyone doing???I would guess with MONK running during the week days now there will be no further marathons for those of us who planned our holidays around Monkathons, dang.
I went up the hill to Raven's for a cookout and reunion with all my old co-workers. I feasted on veggies and burgers then came home just in time to meet my daughter who was bringing me a hanging basket of flowers to adorn my very bland and boring porch. It was a good day and a good week end.
Mine was slow, boring, and quiet. LOL first time by myself two days in a row
lol woo hoo! I got out of a bbq at my parents house last night. Just wasn't up
to waiting for a ride to get there, and back home. I am going to have to get
season 4 though, for my own marathon. without commercials...
