I just picked up ssn 5. While watching "Mr. Monk & the Leper," I think I caught a couple of goofs. Sorry if they've already been posted.

1) While Capt. & Disher are at the musician's apartment, the landlord says he has a cat. Back in "Mr. Monk & the Missing Granny," Disher was sneezing like mad because there were cats. He's allergic. He didn't sneeze in this episode.

2) While Monk & Natalie were crashing in the balloon, the dead body falls out. A moment later, you can still see the dead guy's foot sticking out of the basket.

I also noticed that Disher didn't sneeze in the musician's apartment. I didn't notice, until I went back a few minutes ago and rewatched the crashing balloon scene that you can see the dead guy's foot.

Yeah, I noticed the no sneezing... But I didn't notice the foot in the balloon. I did notice that the stunt double or maniquin for Natalie was real bad. It looked like a doll. ( Stunt doubles are my personal peave. I really hate it when I can tell what sceens their in. And yes I realize all the hard work they do and that it would prolly be impossable to find someone who would blend in perfectly)
Sorry, started to ramble on...

Theory 1: Randy's taking allergy meds so he can date a cat lover.

Theory 2: Allergy just 'went away' - it happens.

Theory 3: Allergy was psychosomatic and he takes a placebos handle the symptoms.

LOL I like theory #1. I'll have to ask Randy the next time I see him.
