It would be great if SciFi Network picked up new episodes of The 4400. Oh if it were just that simple.

Yes it would. So as long as they don't ruin it like they did with Sliders a few years back.
Though I would be gratful for any cable or network station to pick it up. So as long as I get the channel anyways.

Hi Bubba here, I wish a network would pick the show back up as well. I need my 4400 fix. wink.gif

I believe a network like the SciFi Network would eagerly pick up a series like the 4400, and the SciFi Network once aired entire old season of the 4400 before the second (or was it third?)season, so finding a network should not be a problem. The problem I believe is that a contract has been made that the 4400 will only air on the USA network, but even though the USA network has now canceled the 4400, the contract still stands so no other network will have a chance to air it!

Sci-Fi is part of the NBC Universal series of networks as is USA. If NBC Universal were to pick it up on Sci-Fi, they would've done it before formally canceling the series. Unfortunately, I think USA Network was a poor choice and Sci-Fi would've been much more logical. I just want some kind of closure to this series... even a four episode miniseries of sorts. Same for the Dead Zone. You can't have a series go 3+ seasons when it has a defined storyline and not give it a proper ending.
