Dear USA,

I am a fan of House, Law and Order, and Monk. I love this network. Today it was announced that CBS is cancelling Moonlight. The devastated fans are looking for a home for Moonlight. I am petitioning/requesting/begging USA to buy Moonlight and give us a season 2. I believe Moonlight will benefit USA for the following reasons:

1) It is a People's Choice Award winning show that will lend more prestige to USA.

2) It has an 8 million viewer strong fan-base who will gladly follow the show to USA and promote loyalty to USA and its other shows.

3) It has a cult-like following that has no qualms about evangelizing the show and bringing in more word-of-mouth advertising for USA.

Thank you for listening to my heartfelt appeal.

I so agree! I've been going nuts since I heard the news. I would follow Moonlight to whatever channel would give it life. Bring Mick back from the dead, "re-turn" our show to us!

I'm already a constant watcher of USA programing: L&O CI, originals and reruns, SVU reruns, Bones, New Amsterdam, Monk, Psyche, Burn Notice, House, and marathons of these shows on the weekends. I'd rather re watch, dozens of times, shows I enjoy that 'new' that's mediocre on other networks. Recently I did leave USA for an hour Friday evenings to watch 'Moonlight' on CBS. I understand there may be some interest by USA in picking Moonlight up, as original programing, as you did L&O CI (Boy did you bale out CBS letting them show your new season of CI during the strike!!) You would have me ALL of Friday evening if you added Moonlight Thanx for listening.

At USA Characters are welcome. We have some who lost their home at CBS, Mick St. John. Beth Turner and Joseph Koston of Moonlight, winner of the People's Choice Award. They will be brining only about 8 Million fans with them to USA. Our show needs a good home and we will love USA forever.

Bones and New Amsterdam aren't on USA... Bones is on TNT and New Amsterdam doesn't have enough episodes to be in reruns yet...

Yes please! Even if CBS didn't think the ratings were good enough, they're still pretty good ratings for cable--with a live audience of between 7.5 and 8 million on average on Friday nights on CBS (usually a dead slot!), and an extremely loyal and dedicated fanbase that would be guarenteed to follow the show to your network, it would probably be one of your higher-rated shows! (More than Psych and Monk for example)...Why not pick up this show with guarenteed high ratings, which would also bring new broadcast viewers to your network (I've never watched your network before, but I certainly would if you picked up Moonlight!) and at the same time fit their slogan of "characters welcome"--wonderful characters like the leads Mick and Josef are part of what makes the show so great!

It would also fit in with USA's other off-beat detective shows, IMO--they have an OCD detective and a joker, why not a vampire one too? Or it might fit with Burn Notice, Law and Order, and those kinds of programs....in any case, I think it would be a good fit on your network, and a great opportunity for both them and us (the 8 million fans)!

Please consider it, don't let this fantastic opportunity pass you by! It's a win-win situation for the both of us--you won't regret it!

please save moonlight from the completely unexpected and unacceptable decision that CBS made, all the indications for this show were good, if it had been on your network from the beginning (or any network with some sense) it would never have been cancelled. please come to our rescue and bring moonlight back from the dead.

how sure are we that CBS is really cancelling Moonlight? they aren't advertising the finale as series but season, and my friend hasn't found anything on it...

In addition to the good ratings that this show got (they may not have been spectacular but they were solid and held up better than most post-strike), just check out the blogpulse numbers - this show has a huge and loyal following. Our loyalty is not to CBS, it is to Moonlight and we will follow it wherever it goes.

I am a huge fan of USA Network, my husband and I love Psych and Monk. Moonlight would be an excellent addition to the programming here and I and 8 million of my friends will be happy to come over and watch each week!!!!! Pretty Please!!!

I wish I could say different meggy, but CBS announced their Fall schedule yesterday and confirmed that they would not be picking up Moonlight.

100% Agreed. I have no loyalty whatsoever to CBS. 7 million people tune into Moonlight each and every week, and we will gladly take our numbers to whatever station picks the show up. But I would love for it to be USA! I adore all their shows. Burn Notice rocks! Please USA, keep this show on the air and add it to your already amazing schedule of quality programming!

This would be the best decision this network could make. The show has a great fanbase who will follow the show wherever it goes. I think it would fit really nicely with the rest of the shows.

Please consider The peoples Choice Award Winner Moonlight for the fall season or even as a mid season replacement Moonlight would be a perfect fit to the USA Network and I believe it could end up being one of your top rated number one shows. Looking for a home for a couple of great Vamps. Moonlight is by far the best show of it's kind and would be a geat asset for the *USA* Network. Moonlight is a quality show that never got a fair chance to prove itself. The cast & crew did an awesome job of overcoming staff changes, a writer's strike, and Lord only knows what else to keep it going. It deserves a new home to continue as it should. USA, you would be making a very good bet with this one! I will adjust my cable service to insure I get to see Moonlight wherever it goes!

I agree totally. Moonlight would an incredible asset to the USA Network. I think that Moonlight would fit in really well with the other shows that they have on their schedule. USA Networks seems to foster the development of their characters and allows them to be a bit "different" which I love. Moonlight really overcame a lot of hurdles (the strike, showrunner changes, a bad time slot) and yet it still made a huge impression, even without really any decent promotion by CBS.

The Moonlight fan base is extremely loyal and dedicated and we would most certainly follow the show to its new home. And we will be bringing our wallets with us as well. I for one, pay attention to the sponsors of the programing that I like and I try to reward them for supporting quality tv. I know that many of us will be boycotting CBS from letting this gem of a show go.

Picking up Moonlight would also really benefit the other shows on USA. As others have mentioned, if I like a particular show, I too tend to start watching that channel's other offerings more. I really don't care for a lot of channel flipping so I usually end watching the shows that are on before and after the shows I first get into.

I already really enjoy Psych (picked up the first season on dvd a few weeks ago after watching it on USA) and while I haven't watched Burn Notice, it sounds very interesting.

What a feather in your cap it would be to have 'Moonlight' as part of the USA listings.

I know that in Britain the show has a large following, it would be great for the show to have the opportunity to continue and grow.

Alex O' Loughlin and the rest of the cast have made a great impression.

Please allow them to keep entertaining us. Because isn't that what TV is about...entertainment.

Numbers dont lie, consistant 8 million friday after friday...even with a strike in the middle. I have been a fan of Monk and recently Burn Notice. I hope you will add Moonlight to your network. It would add to an already wonderful network. I hope you will consider the loyal fans of Moonlight and at least give them a chance with 13 episodes to begin with if not a full 22 episodes. I know you have been receiving a lot of emails from us Moonlighters, but that is because we really hate to see a great show with such wonderful actors to be let go so soon without even a fair shot.
