Moonlight kicks butt! I don't know what kind of brain fart CBS had to let it drop from their schedule but it was a big one. 8 million viewers cannot be wrong. I'm like most of you, love Ghost Whisperer but I prefer Moonlight and given the choice I'd go with Moonlight every time. If USA is smart enough to pick it up, that's 8 million people they didn't have before. I'd switch over to USA in a blink of an eye if they picked up Moonlight. Even playing Moonlight during Ghost Whisperer would see a huge increase in viewers! PLEASE USA, PICK UP MOONLIGHT!!!

I love Psych and Monk. If USA had Moonlight too I'd be estatic.

I must admit USA hasn't been my favourite station since they cancelled Touching Evil, but since the Burn Notice has arrived and the possibilty of Moonlight... USA is rising in my estimation .

Please USA - pick up MOONLIGHT! Here are several great reasons to do so:

1. Although it was scheduled for Fridays at 9 pm, a traditionally "dead" day/time slot, Moonlight has consistently won its demographic and helped CBS win Friday nights.

2. Moonlight retained its audience despite the writers' strike hiatus, achieving almost identical ratings as soon as it returned to the air with new episodes.

3. Moonlight's viewers have proved to be extremely loyal, so your network could count on these viewers to follow Moonlight directly to your station, which would make it a highly rated show, immediately.

4. Moonlight offers something for everyone: drama, action, romance, horror, mystery, etc. This means that with a decent day/time slot and a little promotion, your audience for the show could grow substantially.

5. Moonlight's fanbase has consistently helped add to the show's publicity--winning the show a People's choice award and putting Alex O'Loughlin's face and body into TV Guide's sexiest stars issue. Moonlight fans have also helped the show get heaps of online promotion.

6. Moonlight's cast is totally hot, giving the show serious sex appeal for the younger audience, too. If the show were to have a better time slot instead of being on Friday nights, when young people are traditionally out on the town, this audience could grow.

7. The show's lead actor, Alex O'Loughlin is talented, handsome and hunky. He is truly a rising star and women love him! Some of the supporting actors are pretty easy on the eye, too. The hunk factor alone could convince additional viewers to tune in, even if they wouldn't ordinarily choose the vampire genre.

8. The show has already been developed, cast, promoted, etc. It's yours for the taking. (or the negotiating.)

I could go on forever, but I think that's enough of an argument for now.

Please pick up this truly exceptional and engaging program. You will win our loyal fandom forever!

I don't have cable, but I will get it just to see Moonlight. I will follow it wherever it goes. It needs a home where it will be nurtured, appreciated, valued and promoted. It is the best show to come along in many a moon (pardon the pun). The Village Idiots at CBS have done it again. They've finally convinced me once and for all they have a collective I.Q. in the dull-normal to almost-brain-dead range.

Reasons why USA should pick up Moonlight:

1. It won Peoples Choice Award 2008 for Favorite New TV Drama
2. Ratings for the show exceed 7 million
3. It will be a great addition to their current line up
4. Fans will bring their viewing time and money to the show
5. It easily won its time slot each Friday. Despite not being helped by the disruption of the writers strike and the lack of promotion by CBS, it has still managed to acquire a strong and loyal fan base, who will follow the show wherever it goes
6. Fans have created more awareness for Moonlight since the cancellation via petitions, emails, phone calls e.t.c
7. The Moonlight episodes are already hugely popular on itunes. #1 on the SciFi/Fantasy TV show chart
8. Last time i checked Moonlight was Number 4 on the Amazon Unbox Video Downlaod chart. It is guaranteed to get higher.

I hope that USA will save the show millions of us have come to love, it deserves a second season.

YES, please pick up Moonlight. This is one of the few shows I like well enough to buy on DVD! The casting is perfect and the plot is fascinating. Please keep it going!

I sincerely hope that your network will sign Moonlight both for reruns and a new season. It is a great show and since it's premier it has been my favorite indulgance in television. Obviously the show has a cult following and your network would gain much from the addition of the show to your lineup. I hope whoever is in charge of programming will see how it is a great show with magnificent actors and will sign my favorite guilty pleasure, Moonlight.

This is such a great program! I don't understand CBS's logic in pulling the plug on Moonlight. It's an award winning show! And to reward the cast, crew, AND fans, it's canceled?! That makes no sense whatsoever. I really do hope USA will pick it up for the fall season. 8 million devoted fans will follow!

An existing fan base of intelligent people with passion for the characters. How could USA Network go wrong by picking up Moonlight!!

I'm a huge fan of Moonlight, so obviously I am praying that the show is continued! It's a clever show, with fab acting. It has a wide and loyal fan base, which I would have thought is what any network would want! And I'm a BA Scriptwriting student, so I know a teeny bit about what makes a good show or a bad show, and Moonlight is definitely the latter.

I would love USA to pick up Moonlight. I don't currently get USA but will get satellite service if Moonlight becomes available on USA. I can't believe the decision-makers at CBS are dropping this show after a People's Choice Award! This is a fantastic show, with amazing chemistry between the leads. I've taped each episode and watched each episode at least 3 times. Several of my friends are now hooked on Moonlight after watching my tapes. I think USA would have a large number of new viewers if they added Moonlight.

CBS' loss is USA's gain. Please USA pick up Moonlight, I abs love this show, I am a great fan of USA so if you add ML than I will even watch your network more.

I also would like to thank you for your hospitality. It is very gracious of you to allow us an oppertunity to have our voices heard on your forums.

Moonlight's fan base has such a wide range in demographic. I think it is safe to say not all of them spend alot of time on fan forums; but in light of the disastrous news from CBS they have felt compelled into action. This multiple thread issue stems from being unaware of the proper etiquette applicable to situations like this.
It is great to see that you understand that sometimes passion creates an 'act first, think later' rational and are willing to work with us (by creating this thread) to educate the Moonlight masses on how these forums like to be run.
I want you to know that we wil endeavour to spred your message amounst the various Moonlight fans sites which I hope will assit in alleviating part of the problem.

On behalf of all Moonlight fans I would once again like to thank you so much for your understanding, generosity, and well wishes for our plight. I am pleased to learn that USA really is character network full of people with great character.

I agree that Moonlight should be picked up by USA and after if hits astronomical viewer proportions, CBS will cry real tears and acknowledge USA as a much smarter station.
I love this show and am so upset that it could go into oblivion. It has such a diverse audience and the characters are the max. The story lines are well thought out and the sub plots are wonderful.
Please pick up Moonligt and become heroes.

I heard they cancelled Moonlight reruns. Is it true? Also did anyone bother checking I-Tunes? Low ratings my foot. I don't know what the problem of CBS was but it was not ratings. That is for sure.

I just checked the schedule at cbs and Moonlight is no longer listed the next two Friday nights. This week they have two episodes of Ghost Whisperer and next week its two episodes of Numbers. I am sooooooo ticked off now. I was hoping they'd at least air all the episodes one more time so I could record them.

WOW! What a concept! A truely adult show with a great story line, drama, intrigue, exceptional acting by an exceptional cast and romance.All this rolled into one show, and the best part it comes with an enormous fan base built it!!! USA please pick up Moonlight, you won't be sorry. :)

Please, Please, Please bring Moonlight to your network. Moonlight has consistently helped CBS win in the friday night time slot but for some reason they cancelled it. It would be a great additon to your line up as it was the peoples choice award winner for best new drama. Please put it on. I will watch it whenever you air it.

PLEASE IT IS A REQUEST OF THE PEOPLE WHO RUN USA BOARDS TO NOT CREATE MORE THAN ONE THREAD FOR MOONLIGHT!!!
That is how they like to run things. It is in our best interest to understand how things are done here and follow them. After all we are asking this network to purchase our show and upsetting their existing customers is not a good way of doing that.
Remember as USA has not yet picked up the show so the seperate topic to each thread is not yet how it works for us. By the good nature of the people here they are wishing us well so I think it only fitting that we return the favour by heeding their requests.

Might I suggest sticking to the Saving Moonlight thread or The Moonlight poll. Just ask you questions there, I'm sure a Moonlight'er will be around to answer them, but if you want to get more up to date info might I suggest one of the many Moonlight dedicated sites, like Moonlight Line, Moonlight Detective, Moonlight Fans, Moonlight United, Moonlight Army.

I would love to see USA pick up Moonlight. I don't currently get USA, but will purchase satellite service if Moonlight becomes available on USA. This is a great show, with fantastic actors, who have amazing chemistry. The shows are interesting and I love the occasional droll lines delivered by Alex O'Loughlin. All the actors are excellent, and Alex in particular seems destined to become a huge star. USA should grab this People's Choice Award winning show while they can.

I certainly hope this network can see what CBS failed to acknowledge. As the winner of the People's Choice Award for best new drama I thought Moonlight had legs. That it would go the distance, but someone stuck a stake in its heart. I hope USA will remove the stake and allow Moonlight go on. With the popularity of shows such as Medium, Ghost Whisperer, Supernatural, and Charmed isn't it obvious there is a massive audience for shows dealing with the paranormal? For me, if given the choice between watching Moonlight or 'a comedy', (or anything else for that matter) I'll take Moonlight. People now more than ever need a little fantasy in their lives. We have enough reality of our own.
