PLease bring back Moonlight. All my friends and I get together to watch this show. It's got a little of everything in the show. You already have a new audience ready to start watching your network.
Thanks,
Nicola in OKC

I would be eternally grateful if USA network picked up BOTH Moonlight and Jericho! I am fans of both shows, and I am terribly upset that CBS has cancelled them. They are really the only two shows, besides the CSIs and NCIS that I care for, and I like them so well, I'm willing to fight for them to get a new home.

USA pls give Moonlight a home!!!!

I think Moonlight would make a great addition to the great shows already on USA. Plus there is a devoted fan base that will follow the show no matter where it goes. Plus I believe Moonlight has done very well in its first year out, especially since it has won people's choice for best new drama. The show deserves a second year to prove its self even more no matter what network picks it up. I think Moonlight would do very well with USA.

Sincerely,
Brandi B.

its a great show

I believe that USA would benefit from picking up Moonlight. There is a very devoted fan base and they will follow the show no matter where it goes. I think Moonlight would do very well with USA network, and could possibly bring more people to the network. Moonlight deserves another year on the air to prove itself even more, plus the show did win people's choice award for best new drama. The show offers well developed characters, wonderful actors and great scripts. Not to mention it offers quite a unique view of vampires. It is one of the best vampire television shows that I have seen in a long time. I personally would follow the show if it was picked up by USA.

Sincerely,
Brandi B.

I can't believe all of these posts regarding Moonlight--actually, I CAN. Let that be a demonstration to you that even after only 16 episodes, this show is important to its audience. After the season finale I could not NOT write and say some things. The great thing about Moonlight is that it has something in it that appeals to almost everyone. True, there is no denying that Alex O'Loughlin, Sophia Myles, Jason Dohring and Shannyn Sossamon are all beautiful, but they are all talented actors too, not to mention the actors who play Carl and Logan (who is now a favorite with me) and Ryder (he was only in one episde, but I miss him!). Alexs' stage training shows and that is a good thing. They are more than just pretty faces. I think some of Alex's best scenes are when he cries. Perhaps that's just the drama/angst lover in me, but he does it very well. Mick rather reminds me of a Brontean hero with a modern edge. I'm a history major and I love when we get to see or hear little snippets of Mick's past. My expertise is in medieval/reformation/restoration period history, so I need to see some of Josef's history. I think I gathered that he was born in 1599. Wow. I would love to hear some of his stories. I also like the way the friendship between Josef and Beth is developing, and how Beth's humanity is helping Mick to cope with his vampirism. The action scenes and lighting are wonderful and I love the kind of hip-but-nostalgic feel of so many of the scenes. The only way that Mick and Josef show their ages is through their manners, and sometimes mannerisms. Believe me, that is refreshing (take it from someone who's been in the trenches awhile!) I am not some gigglly teenager. I grew up watching Masterpiece Theater and I loved the West Wing! Moonlight is extraordinary because it has that depth of possibility, as well as that "perpetually cool" tone that makes it massively appealing without its being trite or superfluous. After episode 16 we need to see more. I thought I couldn't like the show anymore than I did before, but after Sonata the show has really gotten into some topics that I can REALLY sink my teeth into. Moonlight didn't even have a full first season, with the writers' strike, and yet 8 million or more have stuck with it after a hiatus of 3 months or more. That should mean something, and tell you something about the quality of show.

Please hear us. Pick Up Moonlight!
Mickswoman
I am very proud to be among such loyal and devoted fans. Please USA hear our pleas and bring this wonderfully sexy and innovative show to your network you will not be disappointed!

I cannot believe they are cancelling Moonlight. It is the best show since Highlander. Please don't take my hunky Immortal away from me again. USA, you must pick it up for all it's loyal fans. You have the best show, this will be one more feather in your cap!!!
Thanks for letting me voice my concern.

Please save our Moonlight! biggrin.gif This show has action, drama, romance and everything in between. The leads have so much chemisty it just jumps out at you. CBS did not know what they had, and USA can pick it up and run with it. We won the People's Choice Award for new drama, 8 million view strong and counting. Alex O'loughlin and Sophie Myles just reach out and grapped our hearts. We believe in these charters and we have bleed for them. This show has such a strong fan base that you can't go wrong by picking this show up. I had stopped watching TV for a long while, (on the computer, reading, working) now Moonlight brought me back to TV. I feel for this show, and felt betrayed and heartbroken when CBS cancelled this show. You will bring hope to all of us again and show us that TV is not all bad and depression all the time. I cried and cried when the last eposide aired, and I have not felt that involved in a show since I was a little child. CBS did not advertise this show fairly, Alex won TV Guides sexist SCI-FI guy and Jennifer Love Hewitt won also, but all you saw was Jennifer Love Hewitt, not Alex all over the TV being advertised. Fair, I think not, why do you wonder? So please save our fav show and heal alot of broken hearts. Thank you for your time and consideration on this important issue.

I am so excited! Can someone tell me if this is really true? Is USA Network really considering picking up Moonlight?

This would be a dream come true! If USA does pick up Moonlight - they will have my undying loyalty!

Yeah! for USA Network!

"Characters Welcome", right? Well, we've got some great characters right here. I can just see the interaction between our vamps and the guys from Psych. Josef has all the snark and well meaning sarcasm anyone could ask for, killer looks, and 400 + years worth of experience. Mick and Beth bring the modern day humor, plus two helpings of genuine romance, some chemistry, moral dilemas, a sprig of drama, plenty of action, even a dash of intrigue. Logan brings all the geeks and gamers together with plenty of pop culture references, without being -too- campy. Coraline, now, she brings the passion to the show, plus danger, and a couple more helpings of drama. Trust me, bring Moonlight in, and USA's cast will gain so much more color. wink.gif

OH, and USA, I just wanted to say, I watch House, and I love Wilson! <333 (Not as much as Josef, of course!) If you bring Moonlight on, I will definitely watch even more religiously.

Please pick up the second season of MOONLIGHT---you won't regret it. Let CBS' loss be your gain! Not just for the millions of loyal viewers, but because it's a smart business decision. It's a fairly inexpensive show to produce, yet will be a real moneymaker. Fans can't wait to buy DVD's related merchanside, any movies, participate in sponsored activities, such as blood drives and charitable events. It has MORE THAN 8 million passionate fans that will follow it anywhere, anytime. The lead actor, Alex O'Loughlin, is the next big thing. He is the sexiest, most charming man on tv, and a wonderfully expressive actor, who brings to life a strong yet sensitive character that you really care about. Women can't get enough of him, & the chemistry between him & Sophia Myles is electric. The banter between the two of them, as well as with Jason Dohring is the best on tv---very quotable!!!
It has consistently won it's time slot, even overcoming obstacles such as being on a very difficult night (Friday), with minimal support or promotion from CBS, the writer's strike--in which there were no reruns or promotion--, several showrunner changes, etc. All shows suffered lower ratings after the strike, even the established hits. A new show still building momentum deserves a chance to really prove itself. This show has done remarkably well, even the face of all of this. Also, there's a bigger fanbase than is reflected by antiquated Nielsen ratings. Many people watch after the original airing, on the internet, or with DVR & TIVO. Many viewers are not even counted. (There's also more & more people learning about the show recently, who never heard of it, for lack of promotion.)
No show is more deserving than MOONLIGHT for renewal. Even tv critics & reporters were shocked at the news of the cancellation. It appeared to be a sure thing for renewal! MOONLIGHT was well on it's way, getting better every episode.
I've never tried to save a show from cancellation before---it's just that special. We can't bear the loss of this show or these characters forever. It has become the "can't miss" show. It's something to look forward to--an escape from the problems of daily life. We all need that. PLEASE SAVE MOONLIGHT!!!

Yes, please pick up the Moonlight series! I started watching it in the middle of the season & am now ADDICTED! It's an awesome show - MUCH better than some of the stuff out there. PLEASE pick it up for another season. Thank you!!!!

The series Moonlight that was on the CBS network was recently canceled by the network despite it winning the highest rating in its time slot (Friday nights at 9pm). I am writing to you in hopes that you may consider finding a new home for the show on the USA network. I personally have introduced many of my friends to the show and they have in turn become faithful viewers and have not been disappointed at all. Secondly, there is a very large following for the show across not only the U.S., but Canada, the UK and Australia as well and in other countries.

The show and genre itself would fit very well in the USA network lineup. Meanwhile, the characters in the story have not only developed remarkably from the pilot, but have so much potential for further development and story. Not only does the series have a very strong male lead role, but also a strong female character that I and many other females that I know can relate to. The story itself has many more directions and turns to take and the mysteries themselves are solid as well. Furthermore, the outstanding cast is what drew me to the show in the beginning and is the reason that I am willing to follow it anywhere it goes.

I would also like to share with you that I have never written to a TV network or called a network before in support of a show or anything. I never really watched television until recently and only watch shows that I believe are worth my while and found that this show is worth my every minute so much so that I am willing to write to you in order to plead for your help.

I am currently a viewer of your series, Psych, and would love for you to add Moonlight to your lineup and I am willing to follow the show no matter what network it is on and hope to see the show added to your lineup and am even willing to begin watching some of the other programming that you offer. Please give the show a chance and consider adding it to your lineup this following season.

Thank you for your time and consideration.

USA great network, I hear that you may pick up MoonLight? ExCeLLenT IDEA.....awesome show surprised CBS cancelled it. Great Fan base of 8 to 10 million viewers when it was on(strike) consistency keeps a steady fan base and the stike didn't help seein that MoonLight was a new show. But I'll have to say CBS missed the mark this time. USA could get great prosperity by picking this show up. USA has a knack for carrying great shows when other networks won't. Then when you carry it you get the viewers they want it then, ex; Monk.....need I say more. MoonLight is a excellent balance of drama/mystery/action LOVE to see it hear on USA.

Moonlight has caused a LOT of firsts for me. I am in my early 30s and I have NEVER tried to stop a shows cancellation. I have also NEVER bought episodes of a TV show before online. And I have NEVER willingly REWATCHED a TV show (the entire season) just because I LOVE the story (much less rewatched it all in a couple days). This is a great show!

This show is about so much more than just a vampire. I caught it by accident, had it on in the background while working, and 10 minutes later I had to stop working and (tivo) rewind the episode from the start because it was so engaging. The interplay between the characters and the relationship developement are very strong.

This is a show worth watching and saving. I hope USA network sees what a GREAT show this is and how much further it really can go. This is not just another vamp show. This is a gold mine.
Katayoun
I love Moonlight!
Pleaseee pick Moonlight up. Moonlight more than desrves a second chance. Plaseee help us. I love MOonlight and I will follow it to your network. I don't have your UsA network at home but I will get it as soon as possible if you pick up Moonlight. I'll do anything to help Moonlight. Moonlight is a part of my life please don't let it die.
redkenwolf
USA always comes through with good programming. The only reason I was watching CBS was for Moonlight, no other shows interest me. So if it moved to USA what a better fit, with Psych the other show I watch.
salparadise
This is a great show that needs a new home. My entire family will follow no matter what time slot it gets.
Hard to imagine what CBS was thinking when it cancelled this series.

please save moonlight. i think moonlight is the perfect show for your network. moonlight is a refreshing program that lets you want to see more. this show gets better and better every week. plus it was kind of dissappointing to see a great show taken away from us because of cbs. moonlight has a great story line, its great writing at it's best, the actors work hard to make this show amazing and belive me it is. it is worth a pick up so usa we need a new home and you need a fantastic show and moonlight is that show.so support us and bend our broken heart.
thanks

Moonlight is a quality show, with great actors, great writers, wonderful storylines, and almost 8 Million Loyal & Dedicated Fans who will follow the show to whatever network decides to pick it up. Moonlight is a Peoples Choice Award Winner, with an established fan base. Moonlight has proven that it deserves a Second Season. Moonlight Fans want to see more. So please give us the oppertunity to see the further adventures of Mick St. John, Beth Turner and Joesf Kostan. Pleasure consider giving Moonlight and it's tribe of fans a new home here on USA Network, I promise you won't be sorry.

YES!! YES!! YES!! PICK UP MOONLIGHT!!! It's the best...there's nothing else like it. Everything about it just draws you in and keeps you coming back for more. It's the People's Choice award winner for best new drama, with the lead actor voted sexiest Sci Fi guy. There's so much to love about this gem of a show, and there's a more than 8 MILLION fanbase, that's only growing, since the strike. Give it the chance it deserves, and reap the rewards.. in viewership & money. There's enough of the same old junk on tv--stand head and shoulders above everyone else by adding this show to your network.

I am already a HUGE fan of the USA network as I'm sure a lot of Moonlight fans are. Moonlight is a great show that has action, mystery, crime solving, comedy, an AMAZING love story and the hottest vampires ever seen on tv. There is no way that you could go wrong by adding this show to your network. By now, you know there are millions of us fans and we'd be more than happy for Moonlight to find a home on USA. So......give it a chance, give Moonlight a well deserved second season.
josyceline
I Love USA Network and I think it would be the perfect place for Moonlight!! Its a win-win situation here, and I hope and pray USA dont pass this oportunity out to have a FANTASTIC SHOW!!

CBS didnt give Moonlight enough time... not fair! I've seen horribles shows on air for much longer!!

Lets keep our fingers crossed and keep fighting the good fight! smile.gif

Please save our show!!!! We all are diehard Moonlight fans. We would love to have our show on USA Network. I am a faithful Monk and Psych watcher, and USA Network would be the only network I would watch if it picked up Moonlight!!! We want/Need our 2nd season.
SingingMoebeast
I already rely on USA to get my "Psych" and "Burn Notice" fix, so should USA decide to add "Moonlight" to the fold, well, let's just say USA becomes my favorite network and I may just have to sever ties with all the others. I tend to stick with quality, and unfortunately quality is rather scarce on the so-called "major" networks! biggrin.gif
ladybugmom68
Pleaes add me to the long list of Moonlight fans. I too need my fix of mystery, suspense, murder, love, lust, and everything that makes up the best show I've seen in 38 yrs. biggrin.gif
USA...... PLEASE contract and bring back to life "moonlight" !!! I have a family that totals 5 and my girlfriends family totals 10. That means ages 3 to 60 are in these two familes and we are all hook on Josef+Mick+Beth= the Best Show on TV, CABLE, OR Satalite in a long long time.

Moonlight - by far the best show on TV. It has everything. Fantasy, drama, adventure, humor. Smart and sexy. The writing, the acting, the set design, the costumes and anything else that may go into making this show. They all come together. CBS did not advertise this show properly. it has all been word of mouth, and once someone watches it they are hooked. My daughter in college and her friends, my friends. We all watch and will continue watching. CBS is out of touch with what people want. Why would they give up a fantastic show, for what looks like potential non-hits. Life is hard, we want to laugh and be entertained.

I also love Monk, Psych, the 4400 and the Dead Zone. Moonlight would be a great additon to your lineup.
SingingMoebeast
I am already a loyal and longtime USA network viewer, with "Psych" and "Burn Notice" my current favorites. Ironically, it took the cancellation of CBS' "Moonlight" to prompt me into actually registering on USA's message board! Go figure! However, if there is even the slightest chance that "Moonlight" could find a home here on USA, then I am all for it! Make an already entertaining network even more so! I tend to stick with the channels and networks that promote intelligent, creative and quality programming. So far, USA has yet to disappoint me. I say, "Bring on Moonlight!"
ladybugmom68
Moonligt is the People's Choice Award Show. The fan base is screaming for more seasons. I can't see where USA would go wrong with this. I've checked every angle trust me. wink.gif This is a win, win, win, case for USA, Moonlight, and the fans. tongue.gif

Please add Moonlight to your network and show it as much as possible. I for one can not get enough of it. Thankyou. A loyal fan to an A+ show. biggrin.gif

So please, give us a chance and give Moonlight a new home!!
You wouldn't regret it, and all the fans would be forever grateful to you!!!

Open the door....

USA you'll win your time slot if you pick up Moonlight. The bean counters are bean heads over at CBS! The show is a casualty of fickle programming and misconceived notion that women want to see one more bad sitcom instead of a well acted, well written, stylish show with well developed characters.

I work in film & tv and this is the best show to come along in a long time. (Believe me I've worked on enough stinkers to know the difference!) I actually make a point to tune in to it which I haven't done in too many years to count. I never write rants like this but I feel this show is worth it. I can't stand to see an excellent show be cut short that has a fresh concept, interesting, unpredictable story lines, characters you feel for, identify with and have great chemistry, and that has drama, comedy, romance, and wit!

This show has that elusive "it" factor, plus a loyal fan base, and good ratings. It deserves at least one more season.

You won't be disappointed if you pick it up and market it correctly... CBS' downfall!
I stumbled upon this show accidentally and now won't miss an episode or rerun!
You'll have a 5-65 age demographic according to the posts here. Can you ask for more?
SunshineByrd
I just saw your promotion for new episodes of Law & Order: Criminal Intent. I can hardly wait! Chris Noth is one of my favorites.

Like many other viewers, I have been pondering what network would be the best home for Moonlight. I came to conclude that it would be USA. And how convenient that would be for me, since I already spend a lot of time on your network. (Even more, now that I'm not tuning in to CBS.)

Please, consider picking up Moonlight. You'll make me a very Happy Byrd.

Moonlight and USA is a great fit. USA already has a great lineup - but to add Moonlight, would make USA a mega Star with 8 million Moonlight fans.
OlWolf
As a Moonlight devotee, I can guarantee that you'll have an advertising base that's broad-spectrum! You won't have to worry about any narrow target-base that may find other things to do besides sit and watch TV, like some networks have done. There are networks that are struggling because they narrow their targets to a youngster's age-group, or a mid-lifer's age group, or an old timer's age group... you'll get them all by hosting this series!
Many of us would be willing to mention your advertising-clients on banners on our MySpace and Facebook pages - that would help you with putting your clients "out there"!
This was a wonderful Storyline that all of us feel was cut short too soon! The Artists should have had more time to tell us the rest of their Story! All these viewers can't be so wrong! Please consider 'Moonlight' as a series you'd adopt! I believe this is a good place for them to fully stretch their wings, and would fit in nicely with the other fine shows you have here!

Please USA hear our cries!! Moonlight is the best show to come along in a long long time. For those of us who are sick and tired of reality and game shows Moonlight is a refreshing change. The actors and writers of this show have done an awesome job. They have given us a show with great drama, action and romance. And CBS has just snatched it away from us. The characters on this show just draw you into their world. You develope a vested interest in what happens to these characters. There are so many stories still to be told here. The relationships between these characters (Mick/Beth/Josef) has so much room for growth.
I have never before fought to save a show but I'm in this one for the long haul. I will follow this show anywhere. Please USA we need more Moonlight!!

Another fan that followed from the CBS.com forum to show my support for Moonlight. Please bring the show back for a second (and third, fourth, etc.) season, it will be a great show for USA and earn you the gratitude of a very loyal fan base.

I have to confess the only time I have ever watched USA was for The Dead Zone, but like other's if you would pick up MOONLIGHT to your weekly schedule I too will become a fan of your network. I am a 56 yr. old woman that love's Mick St. John & all the other character's of that show. There is a lot of talent there, so please allow us to see more of them.

Thank You,

rolleyes.gif Please consider taking this brillant show on for another series. It is all anyone could want in a TV show, plenty of action (but not to much), Plenty of humour (but not to much) and of course plenty of good old romamce (a true love story which has captured every virewers heart). This is the only TV programme I have ever felt the need to support this much in fact I have never posted about a show until this one came along. A loyal British Fan hoping USA will pick up for a second season.
