Please, please, please save Moonlight! Everyone else has already said all there is to it - and Moonlight would be a great addition to the USA network. Give the show another shot - and you will be so happy with the results! I am a new fan - I saw the finale episode Friday, loved it, and proceeded to watch all 15 earlier episodes over the weekend.
Please save Moonlight!

I am in Canada and don't get the USA network, but the Canadian networks like CTV can purchase programming from networks like USA. I am begging USA to carry Moonlight Season 2 and sell to CTV!!! I am campaigning CTV to work with whatever network picks up Moonlight (the best show on TV) and carry it too!
Any Canadians Fans here too... join the cause. Market to CTV the vitues to picking up Moonlight for September. NOW is the time... this is when networks make purchases for Fall/Winter programming.

Dear USA,
I am a big fan of Monk, House, and La Femme Nikita (which ran until 2001); also L & O and the USA movies. I am petitioning USA to please consider carrying the wonderful show MOONLIGHT and presenting a second season. Despite its huge, dedicated and vocal fan base, and winning several prestigious awards (such as People's Choice), CBS has decided not to continue carrying it.
MOONLIGHT would be an excellent fit for USA. When I think of the USA network, I think of a network that is not afraid to present creative, original and excellent programs which don't fit into a stereotypical mold. Certainly MONK, HOUSE, and LA FEMME NIKITA are all above and beyond the norm, and all have developed very loyal followings! Congratulations.
MOONLIGHT is also above and beyond the norm. It can not be simply described as science-fiction or vampire; it is so much more! (Usually I don't even like the vampire genre, but MOONLIGHT has captivated me.) There is great humor, drama, character development, and even great humanity. The cast and characters are compelling and tell intriguing stories each week. The potential for further development of the story lines is TREMENDOUS! It is easy to imagine many seasons of this provocative show.
MOONLIGHT fans will follow this program to any network. We will gladly move to USA and continue to support MOONLIGHT loyally!!!!!!
Thank you,

USA: I watch Monk faithfully and I adore Psych and Burn Notice. I find that I watch USA more than any other network, though I have never seen an episode of Law and Order to save my life. I join my fellow fans in asking that you pick up Moonlight. We love the show. (As you can clearly see from your message boards!) It was truly the only reason I watched CBS, so with it gone, I have no need to watch it and can watch more shows on USA.

We even organized a blood drive to honor Moonlight! The fans will get you free GOOD publicity. Give us a chance to show you our loyalty and love of Moonlight! You will not regret it!

Dear USA,
You have to listen to the fans of Moonlight. This is my FAVORITE show this season!!! I found out today that the season finale was also the series finale! My heart sank I was so bummed.
This show is worth continuing. The storyline of vampires in Moonlight isn't like any other vampire story, which is why I was attracted to it from the beginning. The cast is great, and the plot is great. There is so much potential for more great episodes.
I am captivated by this show. I love vampires, and as I said before, especially this one because Moonlight presents itself (and its characters) in such a realistic way that you can't help but bond and fall in love with them and what they are doing.
Please, please, take on Moonlight as your own and keep the story alive. Moonlight has not had enough time to expand into the great show I know (and all other Moonlight fans know) it can be and will be.
Thank you,

Dear USA,
MOONLIGHT would be an excellent fit for your network, which is know for presenting edgy, innovative, creative, and fabulous programs such as MONK, HOUSE, and LA FEMME NIKITA. Despite being recently dropped by CBS, MOONLIGHT's fan base continues to grow through internet broadcasting, YouTube, and the printed media. (I myself was not exposed to the show until halfway through the season, since it was not promoted well by CBS. Then, instantly I became a dedicated fan!)
With its terrific cast and crew, terrific plot lines and unlimited potential for development, MOONLIGHT would be a gold mine for the USA network! All the fans -- an international group -- will follow it anywhere. You will definitely be building your audience!

THANKS, USA Network, for allowing this thread.
We "Moonlight" fans are so thrilled that you may be considering picking up "our" show!
"Moonlight" has overcome numerous obstacles -- the midseason strike, poor promotion, numerous crew/staff changes, and even cancellation by CBS. What is amazing, however, is that
"Moonlight" 's fan base has continued to build, even since cancellation! New fans are constantly being added as they discover this special and unique show thanks to internet broadcasts, word of mouth, blogs, and all the attention the charismatic cast is being given on talk shows and in the print media.
If you pick up MOONLIGHT, this will be news that will attract lots of media attention! And you will pick up many new viewers, guaranteed!

While I am a fan of "Moonlight" I have to ask where some of you all were when "Jericho" was looking for viewers and how many of you watch "Blood Ties" and other such shows that are edgy either by content or by subject? I'm not a one-show-gal, I watch things that I consider quality and I voice my pleasure to the networks. But we have to watch several shows of similar type/edgyness in order for more quality shows to be produced and not dismissed so easily once they are.
Not meaning to start a new conversation, just saying that there have been many good shows over the years and we need to support them all as we watch not merely when they are are threatend or leave.

MOONLIGHT: It was the one show that I looked so forward to watching EVERY Fri. I never missed an episode it's like a breathe of fresh air. They finally went away from reality shows, comedies for that hour . And it was something that my WHOLE family loved watching ages range from 16- 80... It was the only show on any channel I was completely dedicated to watching every week. The best stories and perfect actors for the parts it was nice to just have time to watch something original and timeless.. I hope and pray someone picks it up because we was left with a ton of avenues left unexplored and questions still in the air that we will never know the answers to unless we get our show back on the air........ It was too good of a show to let it go, PLEASE bring the best show out there back to it's fans. There are millions of us that still LOVE the program and want to see it continue for years to come...
It's very hard to find a show like MOONLIGHT that has touched so many lives the way it has ... It's brought families together for something ORIGINAL and FRESH from the norm --- HERE'S hoping and praying for it's return for all of us.
With it gone I'm going to watch the shows that I have recorded at 9pm on Fridays... But I'm not giving up it's the best show I have ever watched and I have seen plenty but it's the only one that I care so much about that I'm doing my best to save it . It's something that when you go to work ,gym or just out with friends and family you end up talking about what happened on Friday's MOONLIGHT. It's touched hearts of millions ALL OVER THE WORLD there couldn't be anybody to fill the shoes of ANY of the actors in the show it's like they were meant to play the parts that we dearly love.. And when I read that Alex had done his own stunts , had to fight for the part and has worked 60+ hours for it. I thought that's the reason it was so great all the actors really love working on the show they were passionate about the show. And in turn it's made it unlike any show on tv a truly original show that brings everybody together . A person will never find anything on any network to ever replace such an amazing show !
I'm 30 yrs old and I've never fell in love with a show like this before it's saved my program viewing . There was nothing but reality shows and comedies and then here comes this show called MOONLIGHT about a vampire that helps people and he not only does that he has stole our hearts. This show was truly original it's unlike any show let long a vampire show that I have ever seen I stopped everything to have my MOONLIGHT time with family and friends on Friday nights! Here's hoping they give our vampire back for many more seasons to come! until then watching reruns of my favorite vamp ! It's the first time that I have ever cried at the last episode of any show MOONLIGHT has touched us all... PLEASE USA help us get our show back you won't regret it !

Moonlight is one of the best shows on television. CBS was either pressured to cancel it, or not intelligent enough to know what a great show they had. But, that said, their loss should be USA's gain. This show would make an excellent addition to the USA lineup. It has great storylines, wonderful characters, and one of TV Guide's sexiest men on TV in Alex O'Loughlin. I would love to follow Moonlight to USA. I used to watch the 4400, I watch Monk and Psych already. I think Moonlight would be a better show on USA, because your network tends to smile at creative writing where as CBS tries to squelch it and make it all mindless junk. Why would any network walk away from 8 million fans who watch a show live(advertisers love that)? Also, we are mostly women who buy nearly everything used in our homes(advertisers love that too). Moonlight moving to USA would be a win win for all.

What can I add to all of the above post? Just that I really love the show and I know 8 million other people agree with me! This was a favorite program in my household, and even my parents (in their 50s) and grandparents (both in their 80s) were fans of the show! That says a lot when people in their 20s enjoy the same programming as people in their 80s!

Dear USA Network and Characters,
Thank you so much for allowing Moonlight fans to post on your board. We are hoping USA NETWORK will become our new home for our great show, Moonlight. We also appreciate the poll, because that is a way for us to tell you what we think.
Moonlight is one of the best TV programs I have ever seen and is the first one I've ever tried to save. Most shows just come and go and we, the viewer, just go with the flow. But, the flow for this show hasn't been so good and now, the 8 million fans of this show are 'swimming' up stream to try and find it a new home, since CBS cancelled the People's Choice for the Best New Drama (go figure!)
We are trying, via email, posting, snail mail and phone calls to save our show.
I have been a fan of the USA network for years and love some of the shows, such as Monk. I will go wherever this show goes.
again, Thank you!

TammyJo
TammyJo, clearly we as Moonlight fans understand your frustration! It's as if the big 3 networks put these quality shows on the air just so they can watch them fail. I, too and tired of their "experiments"! It may feel as though you are the only one in the world watching a show you love week after week, but in reality, there are many others just like you who love it just as much as you do. The trick to building a connected network of fans like yourself is to make your voice heard after the first episode you see of a show you really enjoy. Search for message boards, fan clubs, social networking sites that support and encourage viewership and support of your show. Stay involved and tell others. Buy the products being advertised during the show (don't forget the product placement during the show!) and in the commercials. Send a monthly message of thanks to the network and to the advertisers for keeping your favorite show on the air, and by the same token, get VOCAL in PROTEST when and if the networks start moving your show around from time slot to time slot and from night to night! Encourage others to do the same, because when we do so in numbers, we are a voice they can't ignore. Let everyone know that you are willing to put up a fight from the very beginning for a show you believe in and love watching! I agree that Moonlight, Jericho and Blood Ties all got pretty crummy treatment, but I think it's unrealistic and imposing to ask people to watch a program just because it fits into a "type" or "category"...personal tastes and preferences dictate what we like to watch, and though others may "feel your pain" in solidarity, your favorite show may not be their cup of tea. I can sympathize with plight of the fans of all three shows, but unfortunately, the only one of the three I have really enjoyed is Moonlight. I support your right to lobby on their behalf, and if you ask me, I will lend my support as a non-viewer simply because I feel it's the right thing to do. But by the same token, I believe that personal choice is to be respected above all else...we are BLESSED to have that freedom, and I will defend it with my life!

I haven't signed up for so many forums & message boards as I have when I found out about "MOONLIGHT" being cancelled. But I can honestly say that when I found this one from USA - I was ecstatic. I have not only become a
huge fan of ML but I have been a longstanding fan of the USA network. I started w/ USA back when "SILK STALKINGS" aired and have stay w/ them ever since - all of the Law & Order's, Monk, Pysche, Dead Zone and so many others. It would only add to USA's credibility in my book if they were to add ML to their shows. Please someone hear all of our voices & take to heart that we don't want to lose this show & if USA takes it on, I'm sure that it will have a long life with the network. As USA
listens to it's viewers requests.

Dear USA Network,
I am an avid fan of the show Moonlight which was recently cancelled by CBS.
I am currently not watching much on USA except JAG reruns.
That needs to change.
Picking up Moonlight would make that happen.
If in fact "characters" are welcome, you couldn't do any better than private investigator Mick St. John.
This show already has a viewership of eight million.
People like me who are not 15, who work every day and have money to buy the things advertised on your network and promote it to others as well.
I have already pledged to give blood to promote the show and will continue this quest.
Please consider Moonlight as part of your fall line up.

Huge fan base for the 3 leads, Mick (Alex O'Loughlin, Beth (Sophia Myles), and Josef (Jason Dohring).

I as every one has been trying to get a voicemail to CW abnd USA to consider picking up Moonlight for their lineup after the cancelation from CBS. I have read many posts from people over 50 who are dedicated viewers. I am 36 yrs old, my husband is 52 and we have approx 12 really close friends who are from 35-60 who watch. Not only watch, but have bought memorabilia from the show. My husband being a Survivor fan always gets a new buff as a keepsake and I got him a Black Crystal Replica neckalce from Moonlight, which I purchased on ebay in december. Wished I had gotten more of them. They were approx $50. I do not understand CBS's mindset on this, I feel there has to be more to this and the demographics is an excuse. They toned down their advertising and never sent a request on site asking for a demogrpahics survey last week. They placed the deadline at 6:00 pm friday. Aren't most of us old folks at work. Maybe they were really wanting to reach the retrement age viewers only, not the over 35 crowd as they claimed. USA, CW, SCI-FI, FOX, ABC- ANYONE!!! PLEASE PICK UP THIS OPPORTUNITY TO HAVE 8 MILLION + DEDICATED VIEWERS W. $$ TO SPEND. WHAT DO YOU WANT US TO DO TO PROVE OUR LOYALITY? The cult like following from fans of these very talented actors will be viewers FOR LIFE. Even though my husband and I have now, as of this am, forbidden to watch CBS again. I would return to them as viewer if they would reconsider, but I am afraid there is alot of personal issues involved with such an unfair response from them. They have blocked Moonlight fans from sending certain communication to them.
Everyone keep posting, calling, e-mailing and praying for a another re-turn from Mick, Josef, Beth and the crew.
USA-your wonderful network is already filled with great shows and one more of this caliber would be a moneymake and huge overall asset. What a great combination! please help us and we will help you.

USA please bring Moonlight to your line up!
I have never fought for a show before until now!!
Moonlight has a great story line that can go in so many directions!
The characters are great! I love the sense of humor that was built into the show.
The actors have been wonderful to their fans!
Please Please bring Moonlight to USA!!

Ok. I have just heard that CBS is the parent company of USA network - I thought the parent company was Warner Bros. IS THERE ANYONE FROM USA NETWORK VIEWING THESE POSTS? CAN YOU PLEASE TELL ME THAT YOU ARE NOT CBS' SIBLING???? I HOPE I HEARD WRONG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I will admit USA - I love your line up and you have always been a favorite network of mine. Please consider Moonlight? You would then have an awesome lineup!!
I'm a gramma and in my 60's.......so, the ages of the fanbase are expansive!!!
Also, take a look at the many, many, fansites and blogs for moonlight resurrection!!

USA,
This is the best idea I have heard in a long time. Please find a place for Mick, Beth and Josef. If you do we the fans (all 8 million of us) will follow.

I have never before tried to save a show but I am asking that USA consider making Moonlight a part of its family.
