Oh I think that Moonlight paired up with In Plain Sight, or Burn Notice would be brilliant!!! Please USA ... take on this very intelligent, dramatic, and special show. The only thing you'd have to lose is 8 million viewers!!!! huh.gif
rednova28
There is something very wrong when a show wins the People's Choice Award for 'Best New Drama' and then gets cancelled.....CBS is sooo lame!!
Come on USA, pickup up this great show! CBS' loss is USA's gain.
bluedahlia3
The show has a great cast, a marvelous lead in Alex O'Loughlin, has won a Peoples Choice award, Alex won as one of 5 top male leads to watch in 2008, a great love story, fangs, creative set design, just love the music. It's perfect. Oh wait, not so perfect... it's without a home. OMG USA Network please pick it up. Thanks rolleyes.gif
DadsGirl23
Dear USA,
Please seriously consider picking up Moonlight. It is an outstanding show and CBS has ignored the 8 million-plus dedicated viewers who would love to see this show continue. I watch several shows on your network already, Law and Order SVU being my favorite. You always do your shows justice by accurately advertising them and putting them in the right time slots. I guarantee you that by the time the fans are through, whoever picks up Moonlight will get a lot more than 8 million viewers. I wouldn't be surprised if the number doubled! Please help us USA and let our show live on! THANK YOU!!
JamieBlues
USA is a place for Characters...

Mick and Josef (2 Leads from Moonlight) are definately characters.
ashlyqueen
I love Psych and Monk. I would watch your station even more if you added Moonlight to your lineup. Please pick up Moonlight. Just remember that it won the People's Choice Award for best new drama and it's fans are "rabidly" loyal to the show. We will follow the show wherever it ends up.
karm314
I am already a HUGE fan of the USA network as I'm sure a lot of Moonlight fans are. Moonlight is a great show that has action, mystery, crime solving, comedy, an AMAZING love story and the hottest vampires ever seen on tv. There is no way that you could go wrong by adding this show to your network. By now, you know there are millions of us fans and we'd be more than happy for Moonlight to find a home on USA. So......give it a chance, give Moonlight a well deserved second season.
eponine31
Please add me to the list of devastated "Moonlight" fans, who need to new place to enjoy their favorite show. USA, please give us a chance to keep this show alive. You will not regret it. CBS was crazy to cancel this show. They had a very special show, with a fabulous cast, led by an actor that just lights up the screen every time he is on it. (of course I mean Alex O'Loughlin!) This show appeals to men and women of all ages. I am in my 60's and it is my favorite show!
boni755
I am praying that USA picks up Moonlight!!! CBS is so dumb to cancel such a great show. I live from friday to friday waiting to see Nick and Beth. I think CBS should change their slogan to CSB doesn't care!!!! There are so many games shows, reality shows, and just plain useless shows on, that when they get a great one, they cancel it??? I mean didn't Moonlight WIN the PEOPLES choice awards!!! See the word PEOPLE, that's us, the people who love this show.... Alex is one of the most sexist guys on TV right now. Please USA pick up Moonlight. I have been watching USA for years, because you have some great shows on. Also counting down till Burn Notice comes back on.
Harley60
Please keep Moonlight going. It would fit nicely into the USA family of shows.
LadyKostan
Moonlight would be brilliant on USA! It's such a fun channel and I've been meaning to watch Burn Notice. A huge fan base would follow Moonlight wherever it went and USA would benefit. Who could say no?
MickBethfan5
Moonlight is one of the most creative and refreshing shows I have seen in a long time, and I have been watching tv since the Honeymooners were on prime time. My friends and I get together every Friday night to watch the show. It is inventive, well written, positive, fun, and exciting! Every week I tell more people about the show and they tune in and tell me how great it is. I got two more people to watch it this week (my friend and her son) and they are still talking about the great ending to the season and how they can't wait to see a full season next year. It is just starting to really catch on and you will do well to add it to your programming.
lizlaw
I am appealing to your network to add "Moonlight" to your fall schedule. This show has everything: Attractive, talented actors who are committed to bringing a great story to us each week. The show is fast moving and never predictable; the writing is superlative. The cinematography and music enhances the story by further revealing the character's feelings. It is a wonderful series with so much potential for story development and actors who continue to grow with each episode. Please be assured that the fans of this show are quite normal people who enjoy a well-made, suspenseful drama with something that's been missing from network television for a long time....ROMANCE!

Thank you for listening. Liz

Moonlight on the USA network seems like a perfect to me!! USA has such great shows Monk, Psych, The Dead Zone. I have been an avid watcher of the network going back to La Femme Nikita. Moonlight has everything drama, humor, romance. Not to mention winning a Peoples Choice award & lots of devoted fans from all around the world! Please USA pick up Moonlight it would be a great addition to your network.

I have no idea, I've never seen the show.

I'M NEW TO THE USA MESSAGE BOARDS, BUT I HAVE BEEN POSTING OVER AT THE MOONLIGHT BOARDS ON CBS FOR AWHILE. I CALLED USA LAST NIGHT AND TALKED TO A SWITCH BOARD OPERATOR AND SHE SAID THAT SHE HEARD THAT USA IS VERY INTERESTED IN PICKING UP MOONLIGHT. SO NOBODY GIVE UP YET THE FIGHT HAS JUST BEGUN.. IT WOULD BE GREAT IF USA WOULD PICK IT UP AND GIVE IT THE CHANCE IT DESERVES. TRY AND GET EVERYONE YOU KNOW TO VOTE FOR THEM TO PICK IT UP. AND DON'T STOP CALLING, E-MAILING, OR WRITING LETTERS TO THEM AND JUST KEEP YOUR FINGERS CROSSED.. smile.gif

LONG LIVE MOONLIGHT!!!!

USA has asked us to say on the USA message thread that has "Moonlight" specified on it, so you need to delete this one. I am a total Moonlight fan as well...but we need to respect them so we can get them to BUY OUR SHOW!!! Please lets move it over there ok? i read this on another thread someone started i think yesterday....
Thanks

Dear USA,

I AM ONE OF THE 8 MILLION MOONLIGHT FANS THAT WOULD LOVE FOR YOU TO PROVIDE A 2ND SEASON FOR MOONLIGHT. IT IS A GREAT ROMANTIC DRAMA THAT APPEALS TO ALL AGE GROUPS. THE ACTORS ARE DEDICATED AND TALENTED. I THINK YOU WILL FIND THE FANS WILL BE LOYAL TO YOUR NETWORK AND SPONSORS.

THANKS FOR YOUR CONSIDERATION.

I just joined the forum so that I could comment on Moonlight! I love USA network (Silk Stalkings, Le Femme Nikta, Monk, Psych, and Burn Notice are the best reasons). Moonlight would be so good on this network. I have not campaign for a show ever but this one is definitely worth it!
karm314
Please give Moonlight a second season! It's a great show with an already built in fan base. I'm not going to restate how awesome this show is and the fact that it's an award winning show......I'm just going to say........SAVE MOONLIGHT!!!VSRRR!!!
RF54
Moonlight is the best television show I have ever watched in my entire life, and I'm not exagerating one bit. This show is a gem; the witty writing, the captivating cinematography, and most importantly, the outstanding cast, have put this show on a level above all others.

I will happily follow Moonlight to USA. In fact, I am eager to do it, as I have always been a fan of USA! This just gives me one more reason to enjoy your network.

For me, Moonlight has been a love affair, but I know that for you, USA, Moonlight is merely a business deal, and so I feel it necessary to add one more importan fact to my post... I assure you that my hard-earned money will also be following Moonlight to USA, and I will be more than happy to purchase products from your sponsors.
vamplvrkat
Moonlight is a fantastic show with a HUGE following!!!! Please take this show-we need more Mick & Beth!!!
sbarfield05
I hope USA considers this show --- The Dresden Files was one that got away and I truly miss it on Sundays.

I just started watching Moonlight last month. I can't believe CBS cancelled it, but hopefully USA will air the show and bring millions of viewers to their network.

Dear USA Network,

Your motto is "Characters Welcome!" and that is something that I love about your network. I deal with enough "reality" and I enjoy just being entertained from time to time. Isn't that what acting /characters is all about…..ENTERTAINMENT? To let your mind live the impossible even for an hour a week? I have never been so passionate about a TV show to where I would actually plead for it's continuation. As they say, Moonlight "had me at Hello." How can anyone resist the composition of Moonlight's charismatic actors/actresses, mesmerizing story lines, and seductive chemistry? It has left millions of us hungry for more! I too would follow Moonlight anywhere.

cllrn
Dear USA network,
Count me (as well as my 60yr. old mother and family) as another very loyal fan and viewer of Moonlight. USA would be a perfect choice for our (all 8 million of us and counting) new home. What better "characters to welcome" than Mick St. John, Joseph Kostan, and Beth Turner! Moonlight is honestly one of the most innovative, original shows I have ever had the pleasure of watching. PLEASE USA, WELCOME THESE CHARACTERS TO YOUR NETWORK. You will NOT be sorry. I am new to writing in forums and campaigning for cancelled shows (first time), this is the first show that has truly been worth my effort. USA would gain a gem of a show, at least 8 million loyal fans, and a fabulous leading man in Alex O'Loughlin (who has worked tirelessly to make this show a success). CBS has make a BIG mistake, but USA can profit from their erroneous ways--and make millions of us very happy at the same time. Please USA, consider keeping Moonlight alive.
Jenz
YES! Moonlight is too good to let go!
DEVOTED
I must say if it were not for House and Moonlight I would not even bother watching TV. Why get a converter box for next year if there is nothing worth watching on reg TV. And as far as cable goes if the good shows go why bother paying for cable. Now that we can rent movies when we want to watch something good.

I understand the stations fight over shows for the ratings. But we the people are the ones that make that happen. So when we add input on these boards why don't the stations listen....

I would love for USA to pick up Moonlight. It might even help people keep on paying for cable. It is CBS's lost and it would be a big gain for USA.

As I told the people at CBS. There are not to many shows that more then one generation can watch together. I have a Daughter 26, my mother is 87 and myself 50. We all love House and Moonlight.
artfart
i love moonlight! bring it back next season!
mickbeth always!
me and my sister love this show and cbs has broken our hearts!
its up to you usa to mend it!

Moonlight would be a great addition to the USA Network.

Please give Moonlight a chance.

I am a long time viewer of USA network. Some of my favorites have been La Femme Nikita, Silk Stockings, Monk, Psych, and Burn Notice. USA has a history of taking on shows that are not "run of the mill" and that is why I think that Moonlight would be a great match for their programming. Moonlight is witty, dramatic, romantic, and definitely full of "characters". It also has a fabulous cast. If USA picks up this series, I know of ~8 Million dedicated fans that will gladly come with it. We know that Moonlight will thrive here because USA does a great job with its promotion and offering of its shows. So, PLEAESE PICK UP MOONLIGHT...WE"LL LOVE YOU FOR IT smile.gif

Dear USA Network,
I am writing to you about the TV series, Moonlight, that was recently cancelled by CBS. I am 58 years old. I have had the opportunity to see many TV series come and go. There are some that I still miss, but never have I found a TV series that captured my attention and devotion like Moonlight has. I would not be exaggerating to say it is my favorite TV series of all time. Moonlight has a loyal fan base of 8 million viewers, and I know it would be an excellent addition to USA Network.. Please consider bringing Moonlight to USA Network. I will follow this series wherever it goes. You won't regret it.

Thank you for your time.

Find me a better fanbase. To show their support, instead of sending silly things to the networks the fans chose to give back ... they organised a blood drive with the help of the American Red Cross! Who would not want such a fanbase?

Moonlight retained its viewers after the WGA strike.
Moonlight is a very popular show despite its poor advertising.
Moonlight won the Peoples Choice Award
Moonlight is not that expensive compared to other shows
Moonlight will add about 8 million people to your ratings!
Ithilwen
Please pick of the amazing show Moonlight. It would be a great addition to your channel. You say Characters are welcome, so why not welcome Mick St.John and Beth Turner into your family. biggrin.gif

Another fan of Moonlight and USA network. I never miss Monk, love House, and adored La Femme Nikita several years ago.

CBS has canceled the only CBS show I watched.

Not only did I watch Moonlight without fail, I downloaded all the episodes off of Amazon and downloaded all the music I could find from the show from Rhapsody. And I'm no kid--I'll be seeing 55 this summer.

I have friends who I introduced to the show of all ages and they loved it as much as I did. Most are bemoaning the fact they never knew about the show until I told them about it. (I've encouraged them to download the 16 episodes as a keepsake and I encourage all the fans to do the same. Last night Moonlight was the #6th most popular Unbox download. Let's show the networks the show is a money maker!)

Here's hoping USA will see the value of this wonderful show and pick it up. You won't be sorry.

Sincerely

Rox Kean

PS Just checked on Amazon--Moonlight downloads are now #4!!!

Dear USA excuatives,

I am a 35 year old stay at home mom who does most of the shopping in the household. Right now we do not have cable or satalite. However, if you were to pick up Moonlight, we would pay for TV service again. Weather or not we go with cable or Direct TV again we don't know at this point. I watch five hours of TV a week as of right now. (I let the kids have the TV the rest of the time) However, I steal the TV from them for one hour on M-F. Let me tell you that Moonlight is one of those hours that I consider "me time".

Considering that my kids have broken our remote control, you rest assure that I would be watching the comericals. I rememeber when I lived with my parents before I got married and I watched Highlander and Silk Stalkings on USA. I have also loved watching other USA shows. (Those two just come to mind at this moment.) I loved these shows and again I want to stress that you would get at least one new subscriber, (with at least two tvs to subscibe with) if you were to pick up Moonlight.

Thank you for conserding and I hope that you decide to pick up Moonlight as it would make a great addition to your already wonderful line-up.

MacKenzie

Please pick up Moonlight. I know there is an excellent fan base that agree with me when I say that Moonlight is an awesome show.

Please add Moonlight to your network. Millions of loyal fans are fighting to keep their favorite show alive!

I know I must sound like every other rabid fan of Moonlight, but it is truly the only show that I ever watched in real time, in addition to recording it for multiple viewings.
I wish there was a way that networks could know the true numbers of us that watch Moonlight. Not only that, but that we watch each episode multiple times and watch clips on the internet.

I love the characters on the show and love the humor and electricity that is generated between all of the characters.

It is true that Moonlight retained its viewership after the WGA strike. Most popular shows had their worst ratings for the entire season after the strike, that was not the case with Moonlight. In fact their ratings increased. I believe that alone shows what a devoted audience Moonlight would bring with it to its new home.
I think that Moonlight would be a great addition to the USA Network, especially since you have dropped Dead Zone and The 4400. I watched both of those shows and would be very happy to watch Moonlight.
Please let us have more Moonlight. rolleyes.gif

I've been getting into Burn Notice, which I'm enjoying a lot. And I just think USA would be such a wonderful home for my little vampire show, Moonlight.

In addition to what's already been posted about the show, it should be mentioned that the show -- based on many posts I've read online -- is appealing to many viewers who say they normally don't watch vampire shows, didn't watch Buffy or Angel, but they tried out Moonlight and were captivated by it. Many familes seem to watch and feel it is family friendly. Who knew! But I'm on 4 different fan boards and have seen this sort of thing posted a lot and people who normally don't watch paranormal type shows -- Moonlight isn't really beyond the fact 3 of the main characters are vampires -- have fallen in love with virtuous vampire Mick St. John and his friends. The point being that Moonlight is appealing to the much larger mainstream audience and not just a small cult group. quite a lot of people posted they had just begun watching the show and were going back to see old episodes so the audience was building at the same time the plug was being pulled on the show.

You should also know there are a lot of international fans watching the show, either because it is airing in their country -- U.K., Canada, German, Australia -- or they're viewing episodes online. Despite having aired only 16 episodes, this show has developed a large international following and some Italian fans even produced a few YouTube videos about the show coming back in April and about saving it now.

Many, many fans are paying for and downloading the episodes from iTunes and Amazon.com and the demand for a first season DVD release is high. Many of these fans already taped it off the air but still wanted it on their iPods. I daresay a great deal of merchandising could be done with this show on the order of what was done -- and is still being done -- for Buffy and Angel. So there is a huge money-making potential yet to be realized from merchandising. The number of fan videos for the cast and show on YouTube is staggering and, of course, they serve as free advertising for the show over and above what any network would do. Alex O'Loughlin and Jason Dohring are not only incredibly talented actors but do have a lot of sex appeal, especially Alex, with the ladies so the number of female fans for both of them is just staggering. And Sophia Myles is quite talented, too, as well as very lovely and brings in the guys.

Hope USA will give the show some serious consideration even as a mid-season replacement, a summer show or even an '09-10 fall season show. We'll all wait and we'll all go to whatever network will take Moonlight. We're not impatient. We just want more Moonlight. Thanks very much for reading. smile.gif
MoonMad
I would love it if Moonlight went to a network that appreciated the show. As has been said, we are a dedicated following prepared to go to the ends of the earth for our favorite show.

The show has steadily improved since it's shaky start, and the last episode was the best yet. With it's amazing cast and wonderful storyline Moonlight would hook many more viewers if it was given the chance to play out the next season which has all been planned by the show's producers.

It has a real chance to become a classic.

I vote YES.

It's either USA or Scifi... either one works... I think moonlight might give Scifi a good win since SG1 left the mix.

USA I love Moonlight it has a huge fan base but yet CBS has decided to go to a show about a women looking through her ex's to find her true love to attract more women instead of Moonlight and its sexy vampires, romance, action, and drama. Their loss, your gain. Please pick up Moonlight I love your station and love Monk, Psych, and Burn Notice to name a few. I would love to add Moonlight to another reason i love your station. Please become perpetually cool.

Moonlight was not a critic's darling, but it was a fan's darling. And those Moonlight fans are rabid evangelists. In addition, the Moonlight fans (myself included), are overwhelming young females in the 18 - 49 demographic. We are CPG, automotive and restaurant advertisers' target. In addition, the audience for Moonlight, as played out in the Nielsen ratings, is consistent and stable. We will follow the show to USA.

Please pick up Moonlight. You'll get a desireable, loyal audience in exchange for continuing the vampire saga.
