I just voted "yes" for Moonlight. It is an incredible show full of emotion and drama. I hope that my vote will count for something. CBS is making a HUGE mistake letting Moonlight go. Eight million viewers and a People's Choice Award! I hope that CBS' loss is USA's gain!!

Please save moonlight!!! i believe that USA could better support this type of show then CBS ever could. Your programs on the network are unique and edgy and I believe that moonlight could not only be the show to fulfill this standard that you have set, but also give you more viewers and recognition. Please save the show, it would be greatly appreciated!!!

Seriously, USA. This is a no brainer, picking up Moonlight. It did so well in a time slot that is difficult to be successful anyway, Friday night. Moonlight has appeal to many younger viewers, most of whom go out on Friday nights. I guarantee if you pick it up and give it a good schedule, the viewers will be there. Just search the internet and seehow many of us rabid fans are out here! We will follow!!

QUOTE (Nenisy @ May 18 2008, 12:35 PM)

Hi,
I am new to posting..can't believe I am actually doing all this...more interested in this than about Hillary or OBama....I know it is shamefull to admit...but here goes I am a 55 year old working married woman, who along with her mother, co-workers, and a lot of other people I know look forward to Moonlight every Friday. Let me add also that I only started watching Ghost Whisperer so I wouldn't get too busy and forget to turn on Moonlight. So if Moonlight goes CBS is gone to me too. Even my husband will watch because he is a bit of a sci fi person. I was appalled to learn that CBS was gong to drop Moonlight..with all the crap that is on TV we finally got something a little different, that we like..and that is it? Fisrt I have to admit Vampire shows are not for all. But it was refreshing to have new twists thrown into the rules of the vampire world. Loved the sets...loved how it is filmed..loved the humor...Loved the acting..such emotion...not afraid to be tough, hard on himself, show emotion with a tear...He showed it all and we got it! He is a man's man and also the woman of the world love him. The show is refreshing as is House and I like Bones too but how many CSI shows can we have...how many lame comedy's with the same old actors in them..Help! I started out likeing LOST but oh my god...talk about a mess, yet it is still on. I am just really upset and if any other station as such picks up the show I will watch. I don't think Moonlight had much of a chance because of the writers strike right in the middle of it all....I kept looking to see if Alex was going to do Leno, or any morning shows as Ellen or the View (Even thou I would be working and miss it) I don't think CBS did their job with promoting it..with all the changes in the beginning I think CBS should be lucky to get as much as they got because it was all on the backs of the people directly involved with the show. They finally started to get it right when they started showing commercial's saying "He's back..." How can anyone be voted one of the sexiest people in TV guide and have his own station practically ignoring him and not pulling out all the stops to promote? If I was Alex Iwould be po'd. As you can see I mention Alex more than anyone....He is the star, but the connection between his "Beth" was so sizzling you could feel it through the screen...also I think the turning back to vamp through Joesf was a turn on also...I don't care who it appeals to..but CBS and USA has to admit there are so many factors in this show that have appeal. Take Charmed..good..has following..I can watch it but I am sorry it has fake looking "bad spirits" or whatever but it has a huge audience...I don't know what more to say except that I can speak for many people who will follow this show. And most of all if nothing happens for Alex on CBS...I hope he beomes a BIGGER star than he is now in Film...should have been the next James BOND!! They blew that one too. But he will be big, and I hope CBS has to eat his dirt. One last note....I am starting to scare myself because I never get this worked up over stuff like TV..I usually don't care. But I really feel that CBS did not put it's all into promotion and the cast and crew did. So wherever Moonlight is..I will watch and I look forward to the furture to see how well I know Alex will do.
Wish us luck and if anybody important reads this please consider what your customers...your audience is saying.

I am from Austin, Texas and just wanted to add my comments for Moonlight.
I understand that every network wants to have quality entertainment and Moonlight actually does fulfill this requirement completely. Anyway, you look at Moonlight, it is a winner- the fabulous cast, the set, the writers and everyone else working for this show. Not to mention the fantastic storyline that grips audience episode after episode and may I add those who watched the season finale "Sonata" are completely enthralled and want more - they want to know what went behind closed doors with Mick and Beth, they want to know how the relationship between Joseph and his lawyer will develop and more importantly what happens to the list of LA vampires that Talbot has just received. The person who sent it to Talbot said that he will be in touch. Obviously the story line is complex and rich and needs to be followed and this can only be done if Moonlight is is picked up by USA network.
By picking up Moonlight, USA will continue to draw huge numbers of women and you will be surprised at the age range anywhere from early teenagers to women in their 50s. And with such a huge women audience the ratings can only get better. So if your goal is to attract more viewers to your network than look no further than Moonlight... it will draw the huge audience towards your network [even with writers' strike Moonlight didn't lose ground and with 4 new episodes continues to attract this huge audience - 8 million and counting, not to forget international audience as well].
What Moonlight taught me is not to give up when one faces hardships and it symbolizes hope, courage and to be bold enough to dream big. I think a season of Moonlight has cultivated this mindset not just in me but also in our fan base... the way the fans have mobilized together is a true testament to the strength and hope Moonlight instills in its viewers.
So please pick up Moonlight and you can have all of us 8 million plus viewers, excellent ratings for seasons to come and a wonderful addition to "Characters Welcome".
Thank you!

I must say this is a first for me-I have never fought to save any cancelled show until now. Moonlight captured me with the very first episode-the moment I heard Mick's voice. I immediately subscribed to the entire series through Amazon's Unbox. I found Moonlight by complete accident. Sadly, CBS failed it completely. Amazon offered the first episode for download free. I read their little blurb-thought it was interesting enough to view and fell in love with the wonderful cast and the storyline. Moonlight is the only show I absolutely will not miss an episode of. You will find we Moonlight fans will watch each episode over and over. I told all my family and friends about the show and they are all hooked on Moonlight as well. The long wait for the last 4 episodes to be aired was pure torture.
The writers have wonderful ideas for season 2-the cast is perfectly magical and hard working. You can tell they care about the show. Please, please add Moonlight to your line up. You will have millions of loyal viewers both in the US and internationally. Moonlight deserves a chance to continue to grow and thrill audiences for years to come. Thanks.

We currently watch and record Monk, Psych, House and Burn Notice on USA. Our entire family watches these shows, even our teenagers and their friends, just as we all watch Moonlight. We used to be avid 4400, The Dead Zone and were long time Silk Stalkings viewers on USA as well. Moonlight is the
ONLY show we watched on CBS.
As a loyal and long time USA viewer, please consider bringing Moonlight to USA. There is a
vast demographic just in our household and I make purchasing decisions for our family, our teenagers rewatch all these shows when friends come over. USA and their advertisers would benefit in loyal viewers and advertising purchases from the 8+million fans. The show fits nicely with your current programming and has something to appeal to everyone: mystery, action, romance, suspense and a little comedic relief with some mild horror.

Yeah, I'm not sure what it is about this show that has gotten under everyones skin( well I might!

). I've been the same, usually it's like 'it's cancelled? Oh well' NOT THIS TIME! Even when you remove the emotion from the situation and look at the cold hard facts it does seem a strange business decision to not pick up a second season. I was just waiting for merchandise - nothing! Dvd's - nothing. I'm in Australia and try my best to support the sponsors but can be difficult as I have to watch the show online which means no ads. So we rely on the lists put on the FAN websites. I can't wait till the rest of the series comes back soon here. In the meantime, we're are doing everything we can to secure a second season for our vamp and friends. Let's put it this way I've certainly been made aware of the USA network! Please USA let our Moonlight shine again.
Well off to work for the day here, know what I'd rather be doing!!! L. xx.

To the executives at USAnetwork -
I am writing to ask you to please consider adding Moonlight to your fall schedule. I am not in the habit of writing on behalf of television shows, but I feel it's necessary to voice my opinion when so much is at stake. Moonlight has not been given it's fair due - a year, especially this year because of circumstances beyond its control, is certainly not enough time to prove the merits of such a great show. I am a stay at home mom of 4 daughters - 20, 17, 12, and 4, and honestly, my husband and I are very particular about what television shows our children have access to. We don't subscribe to cable television for that reason......and we do not currently have USAnetwork channel. But, I promise you, that if you should choose to do the RIGHT thing and support this show for another season, we will DEFINITELY be NEW subscribers to cable tv - specifically for Moonlight. We feel that strongly about losing this great show. And, once there, who knows what other shows we will become passionate about? My three oldest daughters, my husband and myself are avid Moonlight fans - we have never missed an episode and even tape it so that my daughter at college can view it. It is truly a show that cuts across generational lines and gender lines -- we all agree that it is BY FAR one of the BEST shows on television today. The writing is superior, the actors are so believable and the context is unique and compelling. I am so eager to continue this show as there are so many wonderful episodes yet to be written.......so many questions yet to be answered.
Please, please consider saving Moonlight. It would be a shame to lose this show to oblivion........

USA Please give Moonlight a chance! It is original programming with unique characters and a lot of potential. I ahve to say that I am not a sci-fi fan nor a vampire fan. I just like watching quality television - something your network is known for.
I almost didn't watch Moonlight when CBS aired it, because it's not my genre. However, my husband wanted to watch it , so I watched it with him. I was very pleasantly surprised and quickly became hooked. The acting is great and the actors have a great chemistry and there is such potential for storyline delveopment.
What a shock to hear CBS was canceling it! I was dumbfounded. How do you cancel a show with such a great following, ESPECIALLY considering it got interrupted by the writer's strike and won a People's Choice Award? I really hope another network picks it up and can think of none better than USA.
p.s. Absolutely love Monk and Psych!

I couldn't agree more with what everyone is saying. I absolutely LOVE MOONLIGHT!!!!!! This was the ONLY new show I watched when it came on last fall. I couldn't wait for Friday nights. I would leave class early on Friday's so I would be home to watch it. I've never been one to skip out early on any of my classes for a tv show before this one. I already watch Monk, Psych, and Burn Notice on USA--I think Moonlight would be a great addition for the network. I'm looking forward to the new show In Plain Sight starting. USA Network is the main channel I watch. I had no idea until after I watched Friday's show that it had been cancelled....all I ever seen on what few commercials there were promoting the show was that it was a season finale and NOT a series finale!!! Like all fans we want to know who sent Talbot that list of the L.A. Vampires and what he will do with the information. There's so much storyline that could be told with Mick's true feelings for Beth. CBS has made it clear they don't care what the fans think, so please listen to all the fans USA--we love this show and want it back on the air.

USA, you can count me as one of the loyal 7-8 million viewers of Moonlight if you pick up this wonderful show. Never has a show captivated me quite like this quirky vampire drama.
I've been a faithful viewer of your network for years, and I just want to commend you on your fine programming.
I've recently found out that you have a new show in your lineup called "In Plain Sight." I've watched the trailers on USA for a few weeks and I must say that it looks like a show I would thoroughly enjoy. Along with your other exceptional shows on your network; Monk, Psych and others too numerous to mention. Law and Order SVU has to be my favorite though. The dialogue is witty and the actors superb.
Which leads us to Moonlight. This show has proven to be a PCA winner, and it has won in its time slot week after week. The ratings have been consistent too.
But the most important thing is the viewers. They know a good show when they see it, and they wouldn't have stuck around all this time if the show hadn't been worth it. Moonlight's viewers are very loyal and will follow this show to the ends of the earth if that's what it takes. Hopefully you'll give this exceptional show, and all it's wonderful actors, a new home to be proud of.

USA - please consider adding moonlight to your line-up. The show is smart and has quite a number of rabib fans who will follow this show to your network. Moonlight did quite well, often winning it's time slot but for some reason it's current network didn't think it was good enough. i think cbs is making a mistake and USA can capitalize on it.
Thank you for your consideration.

Moonlight is the best show on television. It encompasses a little bit of everything: drama, humor, romance and the supernatural. It has such a huge fan base (or "cult following") that the USA network would benefit greatly from the 8 million-plus viewers who would make the switch to their network. The fans are so devoted that there are several different campaigns going on to save the show. A lot of shows have been cancelled, but I don't see petitions for any others; only for the People's Choice Award winner for best new drama. That's impressive. As noted by another fan, CBS' loss would be USA's gain. It is similar to the mistake FOX made several years ago when they cancelled Family Guy. It found a new home on the Cartoon Network and exploded in its' popularity. I see the same happening with Moonlight and the network that decides to give it a new home. I hope USA takes all that into consideration when making a decision.

I have never been addicted to a show, and the last few years have found television in general, as an insult to my intelligence with reality tv and stupid sitcoms that really are not funny, but are hailed by Nielson Ratings as great! Well they need to reinvent the wheel..... And figure a more efficient system to monitor the "real viewers"! Moonlight has been the one show that turned my attention, and had me at "hello"! This program has proved that it can take a hit and keep on ticking! Furthermore, Moonlight has survived so much, and has only gotten better, and more interesting, but more importantly it has become an addiction for 8 million dedicated fans (which are actually probably more about 12 million). The cast has terrific chemistry, great one liners, "out there" characters, and a very special romance that has not been captured since "Scarlett Ohara"! Moreover, my entire family (kids ages 11, 16, 18 & parents ages 44 & 45) all watch and stop everything on Friday night! What tv show do you know makes a family stay together? Moonlight! USA, please realize what a great drama Moonlight is, and would be a great addition to your family! It is not everyday that I take time out of my busy schedule to write a network, but I believe this terrific show deserves a second and third season on your network. As they say"The best is yet to be", Moonlight will sparkle on USA!

We ask you to consider adding Moonlight to your programming. The show is really special in a way that many are not. For starters, the characters are believable (yes, we can even imagine that is possible for vampires to live among us!), the stories are solid and the romance is just what we all want to scape from the daily stress. This show has brought me closer to my sister since we started watching together. What an escape and a haven this show is!
The vampire detective who longs to be mortal again is an intriguin premise, even though we have seen it before, it lays the ground for so many possiblities and the writers of the show were merely beginning to explore some of them, which the fans found enthralling.
We are glued to the set from the moment it begins untill the end, we don't want to miss a second of it!
This show deserves the time to grow and mature, really bad shows had been given a second chance in life, why not this little gem?
Thank you.

I am in complete agreement with you on this! My whole family stops on Friday night and watches together. It is a different type of program with wonderful characters and great storylines! Television in general has so little to offer these days unless you dont mind a constant run of reality shows, that MOONLIGHT stands out and above all the rest! I think this program deserves a new life on the USA network! I just know it will be a winner for USA how could it not!!
