Please, please, please pick up Moonlight. It is one of the best shows on prime-time, and for CBS to cancel it...wow, what a mistake!! I am one of the 8 million viewers who will follow it to USA.

I'm very disappointed to hear that CBS is not going to continue with Moonlight. Please pick up the show, it will be their loss.
fathertime13
OBVIOUSLY CBS SUCKS!!! THEY CATER TO ALL THE CHEAP CRAP THE BLACK HOLE OF TELEVISION HAS TO SPEW!!! PLEASE! PLEASE! PLEASE! PICK UP "MOONLIGHT" IMMEDIATELY!!! USA IS A GREAT STATION AND THEIR PROGRAMMING PROVES IT! PLEASE SHOW CBS THAT YOU ARE THE BETTER STATION AND WANT TO PLEASE YOUR CORE AUDIENCE - YOU KNOW, THE ONES WHO SPEND MONEY... CBS SEEMS TO HAVE FORGOTTEN THAT BASIC CONCEPT - DUMMIES!

THANK YOU AGAIN FOR YOUR SERIOUS CONSIDERATION FOR PICKING UP THIS FABULOUS SHOW! FYI - I AM NOT SOME TEENY-BOPPER... I AM WELL INTO MY 50S WITH MONEY TO SPEND...

Dear USA,

please give Moonlight a chance and pick it up for a second season. It is one of the best TV show in years. It has everything a great series needs (from a great story to wonderful characters). I was hooked to it right from the beginning which has not happened to me in years.

Please take Moonlight into your plans. THANK YOU!!

I absolutely LOVE Moonlight!! It would be so awesome to have it back on the air again. You would not be sorry to pick up this series!

I would love for USA to pick up Moonlight. It was one of the best shows on CBS last year and they refused to give it a second chance after the writer's strike despite the show having won the Viewer's Choice Award. Isn't that what it is all about? The VIEWERS????? If you don't have any viewers, you don't have a network. I for one am boycotting CBS now that the show isn't on anymore. I think it would benefit USA to pick up Moonlight. It can slide right into either time slot on Friday once Monk and Psych's seasons are over. It would show CBS what they're missing. cool.gif

Maybe we should start sending letters to the USA Network...maybe it'll help? I got one ready this morning...

I must admit that I don't watch USA that much. But since CBS is being so stupid I think I'll boycott. Which means USA is now a good choice for a new favorite network. Bring back Moonlight and the Favorite spot is yours forever. CBS can go shove itself in the sewer line of big brother! Obviously they have an idiot deciding what shows stay and which go.

Dear USA,

As you must know, we Moonlight fans are continuing our fight to get ML back, even though Alex O'loughlin has signed a new contract with CBS. We still want ML back and still think you would be a great place for it. Please keep considering it.

Now you should also know that ML not only had more than 7,5 million viewers in the US while it was on; it has now been anaysed that it was one of the most consistent shows in terms of retaining viewers last season. ML would be a great addition to your programming.

I know we are a devoted fan base and not just for the actors but for the storyline. Magic doesn't come along to often on TV these days.
I want to be the last one to say that this fight is over, but the facts are pretty real. Alex O. has signed a deal with the devil at CBS. Jason D. is contemplating his next moves, leading man or helping humanity and Sophia is off doing movies one after another. They are all being successful in their own rights. I can't blame them. I want the best for them.
Maybe there is hope for re-runs and they would be popular. In the meantime I have my downloaded season 1 and I can always escape now and then to my computer or my IPOD for a walk down memory lane. Remember something, magic can be anywhere and it can live forever in your heart if you let it.
thanks

i love usa. i watch monk, pysch, burn notice and house. i also loved moonlight and was very surprised it was cancelled. might be a long shot, but usa should definitely bring moonlight on board with its other great shows. it really does have a great following and would add a new dynamic to the usa show lineup.

thanks. =)

USA Network---if you are listening the people...the consumers...are talking! Moonlight was a terrific show! Everyone around me that watched the show (because I loved it and NEVER missed an episode!) became a fan!!! Notice what is happening around you....the modern day vampire is "IN"!!!!

C'mon USA ... what do you have to lose???? Start with replaying the first season and see how popular it is! Then you will not be able to create a second season fast enough!!!!!!!!!!!! wink.gif

Sincerely,

An ex-CBS viewer!!!!!!!!!!

To the USA Network Powers That Be:

Please add the program Moonlight to your repertoire.

Moonlight is a beautifully executed love story draped with the trappings of a detective show. The fact that the main character happens to be a vampire is gravy. Mick and Beth's lives have been intertwined since she was a child, their love story is enchanting. I stumbled across the second half of the season in reruns -- while channel surfing I tuned in partway through an episode and was instantly engaged.

Today I learned CBS chose to walk away from Moonlight -- I remember watching Monk's first season on one of the major networks (ABC, CBS, NBC); I also remember my elation at finding Monk on USA -- I know YOU are smarter than the folks at CBS.

I look forward to the new season of Moonlight on the USA Network.

Respectfully,

Jillian

I keep hoping USA will try Moonlight reruns--what a surprise USA and it's sponsers, will have, though they shouldn't be surprised at all. Moonlight has fans all over the world doing what they can to encourage someone to give the show a new home. I've seen the previews for another "vampire show"--with a human love interest and it is nothing like Mick and Beth. Their love story is beautiful and drew everyone in, we felt love, disappointment, pain, apprehension and regret. It is not an ugly, violent show, even when Mick is a vamp. The fans love the show because of the way the story is told, the fans that are drawn to another type of drama, certainly have an endless supply, including the other new and much more violent and unattractive "Vampire theme series due to begin soon. Most of the USA programming is unusual, sometimes offbeat, bright and funny, we enjoy the programs that it offers from one season to the next-and anticipate that the programs will return next year. If what we read and write about Moonlight is true-it's fans were there on Friday night at 9pm no matter what !
USA Please consider trying the reruns or helping the show get a Season 2, it would fit in your line-up perfectly.

Im in agreement with everyone on this thread, I live in the UK and caught onto Moonlight later than others, its the best show ive seen in ages! I cant understand why it was cancelled, surely 8 million + viewers isnt a bad thing?!

It seems that people have forgotten the purpose of TV and FILM, to entertain, let us continue to be entertained with this marvelously deep and stunningly unique show! USA you have the chance to boost ratings by at least 8 million, not only that but you have the chance to get one "over" on your competitors, and finally you get the chance to make millions of people happy! That is surely a winning situation?!

Please consider Moonlight and give us and the show a chance!

Moonlight is a wonderful show – it’s my favourite and the only one I’ve ever felt compelled to support following a cancellation announcement – any network should be proud to host this show, and judging by the large and stable fan base it would be a good financial decision too!

Fans are still working hard to keep Moonlight in the public eye…

I'm already a constant watcher of USA programing: L&O CI, originals and reruns, SVU reruns, Bones, New Amsterdam, Monk, Psyche, Burn Notice, House, and marathons of these shows on the weekends. I'd rather re watch, dozens of times, shows I enjoy that 'new' that's mediocre on other networks. Recently I did leave USA for an hour Friday evenings to watch 'Moonlight' on CBS. I understand there may be some interest by USA in picking Moonlight up, as original programing, as you did L&O CI (Boy did you bale out CBS letting them show your new season of CI during the strike!!) You would have me ALL of Friday evening if you added Moonlight rolleyes.gif Thanx for listening.

MOONLIGHT IS SO GREAT, SO SHORT LIVED AND SO LOVED BY PEOPLE WORLDWIDE! MOONLIGHT FANS WOULD LOVE IT IF USA WOULD PICK UP THIS GREAT SHOW. MOONLIGHT SHOULD NEVER HAVE BEEN CANCELED, BUT IT WAS FOR NO APPARENT REASON!

I LOVE THE USA NETWORK AND MOONLIGHT WOULD BE A GREAT ADDITION TO YOUR NETWORK.

THANKS

I would love for USA to pick up Moonlight.
The show only just started airing here in the Netherlands but I love it like no other show.
You already have some of my all time favorites on your network (Monk <3, Law&Order SVU and CI, NCIS) why not add another great show to this list.
Moonlight has such a touching story, an amazing set of characters and the last episodes had so much potential for an exciting second season, I still can't believe it got canceled already.
I really hope you give this show and the fans a second chance...a new home!

Moonlight would be a wonderful addition to USA networks already strong set of programs, many of them also outcasts of other networks - much to the later chagrin of those folks, I suspect. USA: Please pick up Moonlight and pick up viewers and big bucks in the process.

Come on brink back moonlight USA, I'm from New Zealand, and I just heard there is no more moonlight. That is like giving a lollipop to a child then taking it back. it's totally unfair. There should be alot more seasons than there are. I will fight this all the way. I'm won't give up fighting for this show, you'll have to kill me before I do. I WANT MORE MOONLIGHT.
IrishEyes
Is there any chance of Moonlight being picked up?
