I just got July's Dish Guide, no Moonlight reruns anywhere, How about taking them for a test drive USA...? ? there's 8 million of us that will be glued to your channel everytime an episode is shown. You and your sponsors will see how serious we are ! In between the viewers that haven't already been fans of USA programs like L&O CI, Psych, Burn Notice, Monk, In Plain Sight, and I hope The Starter Wife, will try them out and enjoy them as much as we do. Your channel is the first one I check out when I watch TV because I know that there'll be something good on, even a rerun-because you offer the quality shows for those. All these reality shows that are turning up are like big disgusting J. Springers. We don't want to watch them ! we want to laugh and cry and be interested and love the characters. We love Moonlight and the talented people on it. Please USA give it a try ! We'll be right there everytime.

I definitely agree that USA Network should pick-up the show MOONLIGHT. CBS Network dropped this after 1 Season interrupted by the Writer's strike. I would like to see USA Network pick-up Season 1 as well as new Seasons. MOONLIGHT is the best show on TV since the USA Network show "La Femme Nikita" ended in 2001. This would be a huge multi-demographic gain of 7.5 to 8 million viewers for USA Network. Definitely worth it!!!

So many great shows that had fanatically loyal fans have fallen to the wayside because of the bigwigs at other networks (ie Veronoica Mars, Firefly). COME ON USA, be a network for the people and give us what we crave - MORE MOONLIGHT!!!!. Believe me you won't be sorry.

Can I just say that I am SICK of networks dumping shows willy nilly, arhgg! They don't give shows a chance to gain solid footing, I mean every show can't be the first season of Lost. That doesn't mean we should throw it away and try something else. Moonlight is a great show and I would love love love for it to be picked up by USA. The show was missing something (although I still loved it) that apparently the writers at CBS weren't talented enough to figure out but I bet USA could! I love Psych, Monk, Burn Notice and In Plain Sight the only other channel I watch as much is sci-fi

I love TV shows, but even with that I would never have thought that I could love a show the way I love Moonlight. It is a genre show, but it is so much more than that. I never cared for any vampire TV show before, but this one is really different. It is treated very realistically. It is really very special, so moving, beautiful, and poetic. There is something pure and magical about it. The only thing I can compare it too is Titanic. Yet at the same time there is a light,"fun" side to it: it has a lot of witty kind of humour. It is really a gem, and it completely deserved to win the People Choice Award as it did, by such a large margin from what we were told. Also, as the season progressed, there have been such interesting storylines that were built. It has so much potential still, even in terms of the character development. I am convinced that if given a real chance at last, it will become a classic.

I agree 100%. Moonlight is the
PERFECT show! It has everything that makes a classic, and with 8+ million viewers all the networks should be jumping at the chance to continue it. I just don't understand what is taking them so long to pick us up.

Rumor: DirecTV looking at adopting MoonlightBy Tim Surette -

more stories by this author Could the vampire drama be saved by the same people who saved
Friday Night Lights?
There are hardcore fans, and there are
hardcore fans. The guy with the Dwight Schrute bobblehead doll on his desk? He's kind of hardcore.
Moonlight fans? They're really
hardcore.
Simon Cowell births yet another reality series.
Moonlight fans are attempting to pull a
Jericho with the recently canceled vampire drama, making it undead. They've put the line out there in attempts to hook a new network or television provider for
Moonlight, and it looks like they may have at least a nibble.
According to
Moonlight fan site
Moonlight Line, which is attempting to resurrect the show, DirecTV has inquired about possibly picking up the program. Though DirecTV may seem like an odd choice--basic-cablers such as Sci Fi Channel seemed possible destinations--the satellite service has already acted as life preserver for another well-loved drama treading water.
In April, it was officially announced that DirecTV had
reached a deal with NBC to keep
Friday Night Lights on the air. The unique arrangement would see DirecTV have first-airing rights, with NBC rebroadcasting the show four months later.
It's unclear what DirecTV has plotted for
Moonlight, but the company is apparently interested in at least considering something. According to one of the board's higher-ups, DirecTV asked the site to post a poll asking what members thought of DirecTV sponsoring the show. The poll is up with the following three answers: "No problem, I already have DirecTV," "I'll switch to DirecTV in a hot second," and "Not switching."
The results of the simple market research would then be looked over by DirecTV who would determine if any of this makes financial sense. As of press time, 21 percent said they already have DirecTV, 71 percent said they would switch, and seven percent said they wouldn't switch.
This is great news for
Moonlight fans, but probably best to hold off on hosting a bloodsucking party until something official comes out.

In all honesty, there have only been a couple of other shows that have affected me in the way that this one has. Ironically, both were USA shows - SILK STALKINGS & DEAD ZONE. I was saddened when both were cancelled, but not near the heartbreak I felt when learning about the fate of MOONLIGHT.
Help resurrect this wonderful show...People's Choice Awards Winner.....and not to mention that Mr. O'Loughlin made the list of TV Guide's Sexiest Stars. Hi, I am a fan of Moonlight who is still in shock that CBS did not pick up season 2. With that being said this could be a great opportunity for your network. USA ads say characters welcome. Well with Moonlight you will be acquiring some of the best characters television has to offer these days. Moonlight won Best New Drama in "07". It also won The Peoples Choice award in 07. I am a 39yr old mother of 3 who has never gotten involved in any kind of effort to save a show before. When Moonlight aired I thought I would give it a try and have been hooked ever since. This show has actors who have the best chemistry and the writing lets just say it is some of the best I've seen in a while. The cancellation of Moonlight was a shock to a great deal of us considering we won our time slot week after week for CBS. The Nielsen numbers were approx. 8 million each week. 8 million people per Nielsen said to me that it was a hit and we would be guaranteed a place for next season. When word came that CBS was going in a new direction and that they didn't feel Moonlight fit in to this new direction fans everywhere were in shock. We have raised funds to buy space in LA magazines to spread the word that Moonlight was not given season 2. CBS still has Moonlight on their site and does not mention the cancellation. We have had rallies and blood drives for the red cross. Most recently billboards were donated to our cause and will be up soon.I say to you does that show dedication or what. Give us a chance to show you and your advertisers what we can do for you. Give our Moonlight a home and we will give you our support and of course your advertisers our money.

USA: I ask that you take one risk before any decision is made to accept or decline the continuation of this show on your network. Please consider setting aside a day to air a Moonlight Marathon. See how the numbers translate, then make an informed decision. I do not believe you will be disappointed. With the right advertising to get the word out, I am confident that the numbers will be in your favor.
Not having heard word yet as to whether or not Moonlight is still in consideration to be picked up by USA for the fall, I sincerely hope that in this case that means you are still in negotiations.
I am sorry to say that I didnt start watching Moonlight until episode 7, but it didn't take long to realize its excellence. This show deserves a second chance so that others can discover this incredible piece of television for themselves.
I am keeping my fingers crossed that someone will have the courage to step forward and take a chance on this exceptional show, but the wait is agonizing.

I just wanted to add my support for Moonlight and encourage you to take the chance on this show. It's one of the best shows I've ever watched and want to see it continued. I love many of the other shows on USA and would love to see this one added. The idea to have a Moonlight marathon to get others hooked is a great idea. I have a number of friends and co-workers that are also big fans and know they would love for a network to pick it up. I really hope to see this great show added to your schedule. All Moonlighters - News from Moonlight United posted yesterday.
For what its worht it is news - not the greatest but still news. This was from a source close to the show.... Take away what you wish from this.
MOONLIGHT is not dead. From what I understand, however, it appears that all immediate avenues for bringing it back may be exhausted. That doesn’t mean we won’t see further adventures of Mick, Beth, Josef and the others on television again, or in some other medium, but there doesn’t seem to be much else we can do for now. Again, I stress for now. You never know when a new opportunity will arise, and we will constantly be trying to make it happen.
No matter what, I think the real legacy of MOONLIGHT is the community that you have built. It is the fans from all over the world that have come together in support of our show. It is the creative inspiration that has been awakened in people who never thought themselves to be writers or artists. It is the money you’ve raised for charity, the food you’ve given to the needy, the very blood you’ve donated to save lives. I feel that this is the legacy of MOONLIGHT. And I am eternally grateful to you.
We want to stress, as our source did, that the show is NOT dead. However, at this time we would like to encourage Moonlighters to take a break, especially with the holiday weekend (in the U.S.) coming up. We will be talking with our sources and coming up with further campaign strategies to find a new home for
Moonlight. So, take a few days off from campaigning, let your family know what you look like again, and get refreshed. Check back at MLU next week for our next step in the campaign. Keep the faith!
