Thanks to a link at the Ted Levine Yahoo message board, I was able to download all the eppys from Teddy's WONDERLAND TV show...I am in Levine heaven! Seeing him stretch his acting muscles on this show makes me realize just how under utilized he is on MONK.
I have a fun fact to share about the inspiration for Ted Levine's character Dr.Robert Banger on the canceled tv series
Wonderland. Ted copied his father Dr. Milt Levine verbatem in look, clothing, and mannerisms in every detail right down to his dad's stumbling walk (his dad had foot problems.) The only difference was that his dad never smoked cigarettes (Ted does). His father Dr. Levine was a professor and a practicing doctor- if you google image searched a picture for a professor/doctor, Dr. Levine would be the photo you would get to fit the bill. My wife worked for the Drs. Levine's restaurant for years before their passing and I did freelance handman work for them in between hauling freight runs. I asked Dr. Milt Levine how he felt about Ted's portrayal of him on the tv show
Wonderland. He replied that he was tickled and amused and just relieved that Ted was working. Dr Milt Levine was the real deal-a genuine good guy. Whenever I watch a movie these days, I always wonder where the actor got his ideas for his character-was it somebody he knew and observed or was it his own creation that he made come to life. I feel some characters are just a really good mixture of both.

LOL 4thcaptain! It's been a long, long time since the movie Silence of the Lambs (1991) came out in the movie theaters, 17 very long years have gone by since its debut in fact. It's about time to sit yourself down and make a commitment to see the movie end to end-Ted Levine's character Buffalo Bill's 4-5? scenes happens toward the end of the movie and you really should as a TL fan take the time to watch them (You can thank me later!) I'd be interested in your thoughts on the movie. Anthony Hopkins and Jodie Foster star. Sadly today a lot of the younger generation (under 25 years old) doesn't seem to remember this film even though it is frequently shown on cable tv.
I have seen parts of the movie before and did catch Teds character during the last part of the movie when I was channel surfing one night. I do like the movie , I just have to make a point to watch it from beggining to end, or find the time to do just that. Years ago I had a nightmare that Sir Anthony as Hannibal was chasing me and I could not watch him in ANYTHING for a long time and I think he is a great actor. LOL
Thanks for all the TL info !!

Such a rainy day in lower Mi. today and I needed a break , so I did watch SOTL all the way through !!
It was very much as I had remembered the bits and pieces I saw,but it seemed good to view the whole movie.
I did enjoy it. I wished they had explored TLs character a little more though. Perhaps a glimpse into his childhood or a little more info on the years before his "Buffalo Bill " days, nothing in depth, but just a little more to add to the characters profile. Loved the cast too. I believe Scott Glenn played the Sheriff on Monk in the On The Run eppie, I wonder if he and Ted had a SOTL reunion, although I guess they didnt have any scenes together in Lambs.
I just hope Hannibal doesnt appear in my dreams again !! LOL

I've read many novels (that I loved reading) that were later made into movies and this is one of few, very few, instances that I thought the movie was better than the book ... and I loved reading

You can tell your mom I know how she feels

That is the same time it came on here and I would watch while making supper and then the last part of the 2nd eppie was on while we ate supper. It just felt so weird not having Monk on TV , like an empty spot at the supper table , LOL My husband even got so he would watch it and it took him a long time to figure out why Monk acted the way he did.
My TV guide that comes with the newspaper says Monk is on at 2pm this week, so we will see.

Frisky is good !! I have been feeling so tired and wiped out lately, I could use some friskyness.
I watched Monk today too. I love the bickering between Adrian and Harold. I was trying to think what eppie it was where the two of them are arguing and they are calling each other 5 year old etc. thru baby year old, I love that and would like to tape or get the dvd if I knew the ep.

Ha! That one producer I was writing that Christmas script for, she got "downsized" at the end of September, so that took the wind of my sails for a bit. And I'm still waiting on the other producer. I have learned the hard way that it's "hurry up and wait" in Hollywood.

I would love to be able to come up with ideas and express it with words by way of a book, script or whatever.
