So ... I'm not sure, but I don't think they're related. I'd think someone would've said something definitive by now if they were ...

My Mom had not seen some of the eppys on the Marathon yesterday (and I had) so it was a kick to see her reaction. For example, in THE THREE JULIES eppy, the minute the Capt. drove up in his new car, she exclaimed "it won't stay new for very long." See, my Mom knows her Monk, I have taught her well.

Wasn't the Monk marathon wonderful ? I didn't get to see some of the eps but did make it home in time to see the majority of ON THE RUN. I loved it !!! I did not have a chance to see any of season 6, so these were all new to me.
I wish they were all on again today, rainy and stormy here.

LOL, she's a smart lady. I am proud to say I've converted my mother to Monk. I was at her house yesterday while she was watching the marathon and she mentioned how much she likes Ted's voice. I was like yeah who doesn't??

Tomorrow morning, me and and my husband Larry, are volunteering at our church's ice cream social jubulee and annual rummage sale as greeting clowns for the elderly and the children. I baked an apple pie for the bake sale and donated some of my valuable owl figurines (mostly the ones I had doubles of) and tried to get Larry to donate some of his fishing gear he never uses anymore. No luck. All I got off of him was his old bowling bag and sparkly blue bowling ball that's a tad too nancy for him to use anymore. We just finished inflating hundreds of balloons for Sunday. Anyways, The rummage sale has thousands and thousands of used donated VHS tapes. There has to be some old Ted Levine movies in there I can watch and review. Wish me luck! I watched Slingblade last night because my friend Doris swore to me up and down that Ted Levine played the special person that starred in the movie. She owes me brunch for her goof big time.

I like Billy Bob a whole lot but I could never mistake him for Teddie, our man is much sexier!!!

Last night we watched a western called SERAPHIM FALLS, no, it didn't have Ted, but I wish it had. It had some real meaty roles and I could just imagine Ted chewing the scenary.

Has Ted ever been in a western movie ? I think he would look mighty fine on a horse with one of those nice cowboy hats on. Maybe another script idea for you . Yahooo , get along little doggie !!!

I just recently saw "Monk On The Run" 1 -2 for the first time and something has been bugging me. At the end of part 1 Leland meets Monk and "shoots" him and Monk falls into the water and it appears to be at night. Ok, at the beginning of part 2 Leland is meeting Monk and it is mentioned that everyone else is serching for his ( Monks ) body and this is plainly morning and light outside. My question is why didnt they show any searching being done immediately after the shooting. Was it to dark out ( helicopters have searchlights ) too many currents or what. I thought it funny the events went from what seemed to be a nightime meeting to early morning or whatever the case was.

Shhh, it's a plot hole....and as for the western starring our Teddy, already written and in the hands of a Canadian company as we speak....it's called THE HARSH MISTRESS and our Teddy is a gruff Trapper/Hunter who gets embroiled with a headstrong woman determined to find her missing husband.

Not yet, but we all got the one with Hot Ted...and I do mean HOT!!!!

Slingblade is one of my all time favorite movies. Billy Bob and cast did a great job. I heard the movie cost almost nothing to make but brought in big bucks.

How do we know there was no nightime searching? Sometimes we have to use our imaginations on these shows. Monk hid out all night. I`m sure Monk and Stott knew the perfect place for hiding out.
This was a well planned event, not just by M and S but by the writer`s. Maybe, they didn`t want to waste air time on this.

I have got to buy that movie !! Cant find it to rent anywhere. Does HCW have any version with interviews etc. ? Just kind of wanted to know before buying. I will check out Amazon I guess.

Anything but another police detective! I liked seeing him as the father in the Hills Have Eyes remake. I hated the movie itself, but I liked seeing TL in it doing something a little different.

I bought the "Hills " unrated version and kind of like it when I am in the mood for something very different.
I could totally see TL playing a psycho or some kind of crazy person. His eyes have a wild look in them sometimes. Actually, I guess I would watch anything he is in .

I hated the Hills Have Eyes and I made the mistake of seeing it in a movie theatre filled with drunk military guys and their dates who hated Ted Levine"s character Big Bob so much that the theater exploded with cheering when the nuked mutants crucified TL to a tree and set him ablaze. What a nightmare! I'd rather feed my family ramen noodles for a year than take this role! LOL! Actually ,Ted Levine played Big Bob as a retired Stottlemeyer like "cop" on vacation who has an angry A-type personality and has major control issues. TL, again plays a right wing republican "family" man that is having marriage difficulties with his aging-hippy wife who hates guns even though her husband is a cop---sound familiar? His son even looks similar. TL is toupee-less in this one but wears a baseball cap throughout. Limamma, has Ted Levine met with you yet and signed a contract? Congratulations and good luck with your films!

Not yet, but if I had my way, TL would star in everything!!

I do say that I would LOVE to see TL stretch his acting muscles more, enough with these feature cameo roles!

OMG, am I glad to be home !!! Went into work at 5am so I could occompany hubby to U of M health Sytems in Ann Arbor, ( MI. ) today. On the way there we passed one of those trailer type BBQ joints that said "RANDY'S BBQ" on it, of course I pictured Randy serving up BBQ pork sandwiches while trying to BBQ chicken and ribs !! Then we passed strikers at some factory, our normal route was closed because of a world art fair in AA, so another adventure, we had to park on the roof and people were actually pushing each other to see who would get the elevators !! All the while I am picturing Adrian with us. The waiting room was full with a variety of people and an inmate brought in for sugery was guarded by several policemen and security guards, then its off to have tests and I had to use the public BATHROOM !! Keep in mind this is just one tiny part of the U of M . Ladies were talking about Adrian ( a city near by) and of course I kept thinking Monk NOT the city with its malls and restaurants. I think I have Monk on the brain !!

There is a small town a few minutes from me and it has 1 doctor and his first name is Leland ..... yeah ......

Maybe another script idea for you MAMA , TL as a doctor, heck yeah !!!! I think I feel a cough coming on ...

Well, I see the TV GUide Channel was wrong once again. Another L&O marathon today and no Monk Tomorrow there is a Psych marathon, I can only hope I will be home to see the new Monk episode tomorrow night I guess.

No, I shouldnt have to work, I do most of my work in the morning. I go to the golf course a lot with hubby, I can't play because of hip and back problems, but he likes me to ride along in the golf cart with him. I have to hang on good sometimes for fear of being flung out !!

You need to tell hubby that it is imperative you are back home by 9:00. If I can make my brother wait until Saturday to see The Dark Knight, you can make your hubby be home by 9:00. LOL

Yes, absolutely !! Hubby does know that there is a new Monk episode on tonight at 9. I always have Monk on TV during supper and my husband was like "Who is that guy,he is not right " Óf course you kind of have to know the whole story behind why Monk is the way he is to understand him and I would try to explain here and there at times. I think he is warming up to Monk now, but has no idea who Ted is, Ha !! Thats OK, he can be my secret !!

Just finished watching the premiere.....I'm sorry, not one of Monk's best. But Ted had a couple of good lines, but I wish they would ditch the toupee once and for all.

I thought Ted was looking mighty fine tonight. And I am still trying to figure out what was different about Randy's hair.

Tell me about Ted/Jason scenes. What about Randy's hair...what? I live on the Left coast. Tell ME!!!!

It may be nothing but I swear Jason's hair is either darker or much shorter, or something! But he looks good. There wasn't enough Jason or Ted in this episode tonight.
