Hey Hello,
I know we have already discussed what we expect for season seven, but I thought we could do this: number seven things we consider essencial for the sucess of the series. We are supposed to say that in few words, not explaining them so much, but if you want to, no problem. I begin like this:

Seven Things for Season Seven:
One: Natalie and Adrian getting closer and closer.
Two: A special episode dedicated to Adrian and Leland's relationship
Three: Thriller scenes, like the ones in the last two episodes
Four: Brilliant investigations and cases really hard to solve, even for us, viewers.
Five: Funny and sharp dialogues
Sixth: More Randy's priceless quotes, theories and ... of course, shirtless scenes . (Well, actually, I wouldn't mind to see Adrian shirtless again too, just like in Mr. Monk takes his medicine - swimming pool scene . Tony is so cute !)
Seventh: A little step foward in Adrian's way of living: Not so afraid, not so sad, not so phobic.

Ok, now it's your turn!

Seven Things for Seventh Season:

1. A Monk/Natalie Kiss (not just kissage)
2. An absurd Disher Theory being proved right.
3. Return of "The Monk"
4. Monk and Leland friendship episode with flashbacks.
5. Mitch's honor cleared (but must stay dead)
6. At least one more Kevin Dorfman episode.
7. At least one more Ambrose episode.

I subscribe this list + i would love to see a real kiss between Adrian and Natalie

3. Randy to get a girlfriend that we can actually see for a few episodes.
4. More clues in Trudy's murder.

Sorry, I´ll make it TEN, for Adrian´s sake...

1- Natalie and Adrian´s relationship grow a bit more. (let´s leave the definition for 8th. season.... )
2- Different places to set Monk´s episodes, like solving a mistery in other Country
3- Julie growing faster, starting her path to her own independant life
4- Leland and Monk getting closer, showing the time they were partners in flashbacks
5- Randy finding a girlfried, a real one.....
6- Natalie realizing something that clears a bit more Trudy´s murder
7- Monk and Natalie forced to live together for a while
8- Natalie being more active in solving misteries
9- Monk surpassing some of his phobias
10- then Monk getting closer to Natalie, as a result of the last 4 fourth items

In no particular order-

1. Adrian and Natalie becoming closer friends and work partners, but *not* becoming romantically involved. When something is working this well, it makes no sense to seriously alter the formula.
2. More Ted Levine!! I love Stottelmeyer heavy episodes, Leland and Adrian scenes are the best, Ted is a fantastic actor, and I love it when they show things on the show that highlight their friendship.
3. This is always a must; TED IN JEANS!! Seriously. Please?
4. Jason in blue, or without a shirt!!!
5. More Trudy clues!!
6. Ambrose!
7. umm.... Ted in jeans again! Being all protective of 'his people', but in jeans. Ted in jeans is a good thing. I believe it could be the whole premise of it's own show, just Ted standing around in jeans for one hour a week. Ratings gold. Or, you know, he could read the phone book, and stand around in jeans because his voice is really good too.

No Natalie-Monk romance! Ugh!

More Leland, preferably nude, but I'll settle for a suit or jeans.

Leland gets a new romance and it's not a woman who winds up to be a killer.

Karen dies a slow, painful death.

Randy gets a break with his rock band. Not a big break, but just enough to annoy everybody.

Julie runs away when she thinks Natalie has been lying to her about Mitch. (Come on, we need some teen drama here).

Ambrose gets married and Monk realizes that he has to go on with his life.

Monk and the new shrink do not get along, but they're stuck with each other.

Much more Leland, preferably in the shower but I'll settle for the pool.

Leland gets a big promotion.

Natalie leaves the country.

MORE MORE LELAND!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I wish there were TEN:

1. Monk and Natalie get closer
2. More Harold/Kevin
3. More Marci
4. Randy get's a girlfriend
5. Stottlemyer get a girlfriend
6. Murders hard for us to solve
7. More two parters
8. More action (crime wise and Monk/Natalie wise)
9. More "Disher Theories
10. At least three more seasons (to make it, you know, an even 10! If you do, you'll thank me later!)

1. Natalie and Adrian continue to grow closer - but sl-o-o-w-ly.
2. Monk gets more recognition from SF community - a hero!
3. Little Tommy (Mr. Monk and the Kid) comes back for an episode.
4. Kevin moves far, far, away.
5. Adrian gets a protege!! (It could be Tommy!)
6. Julie gets rebellious - we need a bad Julie episode.
7. Randy gets a girl!!!
8. The friendship between Leland and Adrian grows
9. Monk tries some weird hobbies - like collecting Clorox bottles or makes a paper napkin collage
10. Monk makes some progress on finding "the Judge"

1. Monk and Natalie stay friends (maybe tension builds and then they kiss towards the end of the season and laugh and know it wouldn't work)
2. Maybe introduce an interesting woman into Monk's life (someone totally different than Trudy but caring and wonderful - maybe bring back the brunette he had a date with from the electric plant)
3. Monk solves the mystery of Mitch (he did not run away like a coward)
4. Lelund and Karen get back together (nice to have 1 intact relationship)
5. Maybe introduce a pet for Monk (which helps overcome a phobia - but please not a pet snake!!)
6. Further clue in Trudy's murder.
7. Maybe Sharona and Benji drop by for an episode!

I like all of these. I would like to see a lot more of Trudy, Ambrose, and their Dad.

1. An episode with Ambrose
2. Monk uncovers the truth behind Mitch’s death and clears his name
3. ‘The Monk’ returns very briefly
4. Randy saves the day
5. Leland finds someone worth going back to the beach to find that ring he tossed in Hawaii (although it might have washed up in SF by now)
6. Significant advancement regarding Trudy’s murder, if not finally solving it
7. All the character’s relationships develop further and grow stronger

(I know the question said ‘7’ but for Monk’s sake, I’ll make it 10)

8. More of Monk wearing “regular” people clothing (and, okay, I guess Stott in jeans is good and Randy loses his shirt (not in the monetary sense)
9. TPTB secure a ship and do that Cruise Episode they talked about
10. They come to SF again to do some filming (!)

Seven things for season seven...

1. More tension between Monk and Natalie relationship-wise.
2. Julie gets more screen time, involved.
3. Monk gets closer to solving Trudy's murder/the truth about Mitch.
4. A beach scene with Natalie in bikini. (Hey, we got that with Sharona.)
5. Leland gets a break romance-wise.
6. Disher gets a little less dumb sometimes.
7. Ambrose gets some more air time.

Oh, and Natalie in a bikini.

I did mention a beach scene, didn't I? With Natalie...? In a bikini...?

Have you read the books? Goldberg put Natalie in a bikini in "Goes to Hawaii" I wish they would adapt that into an episode and take them to Hawaii. That would be fun.

Yes, Natalie was in a bikini in Mr. Monk Goes to Hawaii. More than once by my memory.

An adaptation of the book sounds interesting, but I can't see it fitting an episode. It'd have to be a two parter. Or a tv movie.

1) The Return of "The Monk!!!!"
2) Monk and Natalie get closer (I would also like to see a genuine kiss, but know it would have to happen after Trudy's murder is solved...which brings me to....)
3) Trudy's murder is solved and Adrian gets closure
4) An episode dedicated to Stanley and Dr. Kroger
5) More Ambrose!!
6) The crew heads to Erie, PA (hey a girl can dream, can't she??)
7) 3 more seasons for an even 10!!!!!!!!! (see, 10 exclamation points ) - you'll thank me later

1) Jared Stottlemeyer ... I think he and Julie should "hook up, as the kids would say ..."
