Mike Johnson of the Professional Wrestling Insider website is reporting that Jonathan Coachman has been hired as an anchor by ESPN. Coachman has been working as a broadcaster for the MSG Network and on CBS college Sports broadcasts as of late. According to Johnson, Coachman will be finishing up his responsibilities with WWE soon if he has not already.
I know alot of people will trash him... but I will say - I will miss him.
He was a good 'kiss ass' heel when he was an executive assistant, and when he was doing play-by-play back in the day on RAW & HEAT, he wasn't bad. But the analyst move to SD was death for him. He was terrible at it, not very entertaining, and seemed to phone it in most of time.
I will miss him, but it's probably better for both that they move on.

Good stuff for Coachman. I didn't really like him as an announcer but he did have some funny moments as assistant GM.

I wish him all the best, but in all honesty, I wont miss him at all.
