Yeah, I haven't seen him around in a while. Last time that happened he was having computer problems, so I hope it's nothing more serious than that. Could be he's just been busy.

Yeah, I'm a little worried too. He's been a fixture ever since I joined.

I did check his web site, and it doesn't look like it has been updated during the same time frame either. He's got a two month schedule on there, and it is still reading April/May and not May/June. I'm hoping that it is a simple computer problem, like someone has suggested, and he'll be back soon.

Can anyone think up a way to form a search party online?

I was thinking the same thing , for real. I think Bubba is from Tennessee. Does anyone know from what part? I`m thinking Nashville. I am very worried.

It does, but when we submitted questions for the Monk online chat, we had to put our real first name and location. I know, I saw, that he lives in Tenn. I think he said online he is from there. I noticed because I was born there, lived there, before moving to Fl. Update, I just checked my old post. On Feb. 23, I responded to one of Bubb`s post. I said glad to hear you are from my home state of Tenn.

Okay, Bubba's on almost all the boards at USA. Do you think maybe we should cross over and ask if anyone there knows anything? I just checked his profile, and it said he was most active in Nashville Star.

Yeah, I think it's a brainchild. Maybe we could get to know something more about him? I have no idea what's wrong with him, hope it's only an unserious computer problem. Presonally, I do not believe he's such a busy person to not read the forum or at least log in.

I just checked his posts around this same date (His last post was on April 22nd) on the previous years and there was no hiatus. To me that means that this is not a typical time off for him (Like vacation). Does anyone know has he left the boards to vacation before? If so does he say goodbye before leaving?

I put two post on Nashville Star asking for info. Hope someone can help.

How a person who has just joined the forum can measure other person - Bubba... It's sad. I hope he'll be back soon, the forum won't be the same without him.

BfloGal and I posted on the Nashville Star board. I don`t know how we will be recieved. BfloGal, you made an excellant comment. I am glad there is so much love and concern, for our fellow posters on this board.

Actually, I think that was the Psych board -- the one on which he had a problem. His problem was with only a couple of people - and a couple of trolls, which I suspect were the same person. It looks like they kinda blind-sided him.

If it were the whole board, I'd suggest a massive attack. (Board wars -- wouldn't that be fun? Maybe when things get slow we should plan one just for the fun of it. ) But it's not the case. Just a couple of bad apples.

You are right, it was the Psych board. All this worry over Bubba has my brain spinning. Board wars does sound fun. Let me know when you are ready.

I am just catching up. I went and read all that mess on the Psych board and I found it APALLING. What makes people go on the attack like that? My only experience with a forum is here at Monk where everyone is funny, supportive, imaginative, silly, or over-medicated, or a little of all of that. But there seems to be no malice or ill will. I have to say, it shocked me that people are being so petty over there.

We love Bubba here and hopefully he will come back to us. I always took comfort in his little comments and encouraging words. I like reading, "Bubba here" and I can't understand what is up over there but I hope he can ignore it and come back to the Monk board.

I could be wrong now, but you know I'm not!

Wow, what a fan club Bubba has! And he deserves it! I only wish that I could have a fan club of my own some day!

I was sad to see it too, but I think we ought to clarify that it was not the whole Psych board ganging up on Bubba. He had a lot of support over there from people too. It was only a couple of people, and a couple of trolls who signed on just to bash him (could be the same people).

I call them bullies or trolls. They do nothing but their best on
destroying everyone's day, or self esteem. It is difficult to ignore them,
when you're on their hit list. Sadly, I've gotten good at replying back
at the trolls. I will, if it continues on the Psych board. To me, it doesn't
matter if there's just a handful of bad seeds on boards. Admin needs to
step in and stop it. No questions, or explainations needed.

Bubba does need to know that he's loved here.

FYI, Bubba was attacked here too a while back, for the very same reasons as at the Psych board.
I don't understand the need of some people to attack others. Who cares how ayone starts off their posts? Is that any different, really, than people who post a block of text after each post? It's all our own personal style. Let's try a little tolerance, it's not that hard.
Bubba's a great guy, always with a postive word, always willing to help. That is what counts.

That's why the admin needs to step in.

He always has a way of cheering us up.

Excuse me for being daft here but what has happened? What have I missed?

HEY BUBBA!!!! GET YOUR FRIENDLY SELF BACK HERE...AND I MEAN RIGHT NOW...I YOU TOO MUCH TOO HAVE YOU DISAPPEAR LIKE THIS.

The last time Bubba left the board, a tree branch had crashed the roof of his house and he and his family had to move, get settled in the new place, before he could establish internet connection again and rejoin us. Hope that isn't the case again...he was gone for a month!

I just PMed someone on the Character Lounge board who posted that they spoke with Bubba before he took off on "hiatus." I'm hoping that's a person who can find out if he's okay. I know there was an issue but if I can just find out conclusively that he's physically okay, I can stop being neurotic. That poster is Irisheyes. I hope that poster is able to contact Bubba.

I know there was an ugly issue on the other board but Bubba's been posting for how long? I just can't see that he'd disappear over a random, unpleasant encounter with a couple of morons. I think someone also said he's moving. I just want to make sure he isn't sick or having other physical issues. I can sit back and patiently wait for him to come back when he decides he wants to if I can just find out that he's definitely okay. Waiting.....
