I have to admit that lately, I've been kind of watching OTH. All summer I have been gay for Gossip Girl (a guilty pleasure I found after the season was over [I'm so lame, I know]), and OTH is on right after so I just have been watching it. Is Michaela McManus still going to be on that show too? I would assume no since she's on SVU now, but I watched the OTH finale on Monday night and she was part of the cliffhanger. So does anyone know if she's doing both shows?

This whole "The Crusdaer" thing makes me think she's going to be kind of a b!tch....She'll be all "hands on" on the cases until she gets either her first live victim or a child victim....She'll kind of be like Casey when she first started. What do you guys think?

Will she screw herself up just like ada Cabot did on... what episode was that... Guilt? She was way off the line. I'll throw my 50 cents to say that this new ada will be more determined than ada Cabot and Novak were.

It was hard for people to accept Casey when Alex left. It is going to be the same thing. People aren't going to accept her until she proves herself to the team, and the viewers.

casey proved herself as soon as she got there. and they knew it. i just hope that this new ada can fill her shoes. she's going to have to do her job and do it well.

'LAW & Order: SVU's" new assistant DA is one tough cookie.
Meet Kim Greylek, who'll be introduced in "SVU's" September season opener.
She's played by newcomer Michaela McManus, best known to TV viewers as Lindsey Strauss on "One Tree Hill."
"They called her 'The Crusader' back in DC," McManus says of Kim. "She's fresh on the scene but isn't inexperienced by any means.
"She's independent and strong-willed and is unafraid to step outside the box," says McManus. "She'll do whatever it takes. She's ready for a challenge."
McManus shot her first scenes as Kim yesterday. But, unlike her on-screen alter-ego, she was welcomed warmly by the "SVU" cast and crew.
"When I got to my dressing room, there was a beautiful bouquet of flowers from Mariska [Hargitay] and a sweet note," she says. "Everyone here has been so sweet and so great."
McManus will score a TV triple-play in September: appearing on the season premiere of "One Tree Hill," as a flight attendant on "CSI: NY" and then making her debut on "SVU.

I'm sorry but her character sounds very much like Alex and Casey, both determined to get what they want no matter the costs. Alex got shot, presumed dead and into Witness Protection while Casey got suspended (still, a lame ending for the longest ADA on L&O). The only difference is that Kim was/is married while the other two were single.
