DSR- who is being interviewed, Neal Baer?

I have seen Mariska as a blond and let me just say that I am grateful to whoever convinced her to change it back. Thanks for the spoilers.

I am not too crazy about the idea of Mariska/Olivia being blond and it's not really about the looks issue, it's more of thinking her mom was a famous blonde. I had those similiar thoughts to the idea of Mariska/Olivia being in the car accident for Paternity knowing how that's how her mom died. It just makes me uncomfortable as Mariska has been trying hard to established her own identity in the show business apart from her mother.

Strangely though, I'm okay with Olivia wearing pink (Jayne's favorite color), but maybe it's because she doesn't wear it often enough and goes around in different colors that it's too be expected to have a pink shirt on time to time.

From the interview it sounded like she was in desguise or something. Like the blond is a wig but I saw a picture of her as a blond, blond and let me tell you. It was not a good look for her. She looked horrible. I am just glad she changed it back to brown. That suits her a lot better. Light brown is good. Blond is bad. LOL! On her at least.

On SVU Production Blog, they said that they just wrapped up filming the premiere episode "Trials". I think "Lunacy" (with James Brolin with the astronaunt storyline) was the first episode to be filmed but not the season premiere. I have no idea what the airing order will be but I'm sure it will be soon around the time the season premiere preview(s) come out.

what have i missed?! lol Olivia going blonde? Elliot getting naked? The both of them in a compromising position? Now if us EO shippers had Olivia in a blonde wig a long time ago, we would have gotten Elliot nude and them finally showing us some EO? ahhhhhh!

I think the spoilers are interetiong. Mariska in a blonde wig isi funny. Wasn't she a blonde in can't hurry love? I thiought it was cute, of course her hair was a lot longer.

I honestly believe it will be Olivia with few clothes on since we seen Elliot in his underwear , and shirtless so many times I don't think NB would bring it up. I think it is percieved more racy to have a woman scantally dressed than a man. Not that I would mind seeing Elliot in his undies again.

Althougt Mariska said she wouldn't do nude scenes, I think she means scenes where we actually see her naked, not just allude to it, of course they will not show anything. . Remember she alluded to it in Undercover and who could forget her "look better naked" picture?? She was hot!!

So I guess problem child starts off by stealing his credit cards, I like the fact they are actually laying some ground work for this.

I agree that it will be Liv in the buff, and this will send El spinning in future eppies. Just you watch.

Another reason I think it will be Olivia is because I think it will be something that happens to her clothes while on a case (please don't let it be she simply walks in on her changing, that had been done to death) she will need some coverage and most likely it will have to be his shirt or coat. If it is Elliot what would he put on?? He would be ass'd out, literally!

I think it could be a funny comic relief senerio, and I hope that is all it is. I think this line of writing is ...odd. I hope they attempt to make it reasonable and not a stray monkey ripping off her clothes.

Well I'm not sure if this was already discussed or not, but after reading that long Neal Bear interview- AND OH BOY AM I EXCITED NOW-- Um- I'm thinking mama Stabler's Bi Polar disorder was passed down to Kathleen. Which would really explain her bitchy side and her impulsive behavior. I want to see Kathllena nd Liv have a little one on one time. A little "WTF are you doing with your life?" scene. That'd be fun. But yeah- Bi Polar is rough! My one friend has it and when she's not taking care of herself- Look Out- She's nutty! She buys like $500 worth of food at the grocery store, everyday for weeks at a time. She's in serious debt.

So we just finished filming the premiere episode called "Trials". You won't be disappointed. Its 90210 meets Roseanne meets Ed meets Days of our Lives! You must be thinking: "What the heck is he talking about?" Well, I'm referring to the star-packed cast for the premiere: Luke Perry (Dylan from "90210"), Sara Gilbert (Darleen from "Roseanne"), Julie Bowen (from "Ed"), and NBC's own Days of our Lives' Mary Beth Evans makes a guest spot. The story is incredible also. So many twists and turns you'll be amazed by what you see! It's a great episode to kick off the season.

Lets see what kind of questions you all have for me:

Are there gonna be any famous guest stars on SVU?
Well I just finished telling you about the star-packed premiere. We also have James Brolin and Teri Polo, and we are only just starting to film Episode #3.

I noticed SVU has the same people, same faces, in their precinct scenes all the time, yet these nonspeaking people are never credited as to who they are? They can't be extras??
Well you are right and wrong. You are correct that it's the same people in the background. We do this to keep it as real as possible. Would a real police precinct have different cops working there everyday? Of course not. That's why we hire the same background actors. To answer your next question, they are in fact "extras." Just because you are a background actor (or "extra") doesn't mean you can't be a regular one.

Is Elliot gonna have his personal episode?
Keep your eyes/ears open for an episode called "Swing."

Any chance of some photos of filming we can see on the blog soon?

i just had to post this a buddy over at tv.com ITPROF4U made this, its what came to mind when she thought about the whole naked animal ep, its so funny

I was thinking Bi Polar, too, only the more that I think about it, this whole mental illness story line just doesn't jibe. It just doesn't crop up over night, and we've hardly even heard about his mother, let alone that she was sick or even exhibited bizarre behavior. Kathy never says "Hey, your mother called. I couldn't understand a word she said. Is she all right?"
I can't shake the belief that if he grew up with a parent with Bi Polar disorder or any mental illness, that it would be a bigger issue than what he went through with his father, or at least would have been worth mentioning, yet we never hear of it until now. We're talking the 60's and 70's here, a time when being mentally ill was not as well understood or tolerated and had a stigma to it. More often than not, an afflicted family did their best to keep it secret. It's not that way today. So this story line seems way too contrived and convenient. The first thing out of my mouth if I were Elliot talking to Hendrix would have been something like "My mother was mentally ill couldn't protect me from my emotionally abusive father. . . " but in Elliot's words; that opens up a whole other can of worms, for sure.

I guess I am reading way to much into this! Must be SVU withdrawals. . . .

i was actuatly watching ER the other day, and one of the nurses on there, ABBY LOCKHEART, her mom came to visit, and she bipolar, so since theres the same producers, i was just thinking they probably got the idea from ER, and decided to make els mom bipolar.....

I feel that way too. I used to really like ER when it was a younger show, and I remember the episode with Sally Field playing Abby's biploar mother. Also, I really agree with StrayStabler, this mental illness stuff just doesn't seem to fit. Why the hell hasn't it been introduced earlier? I mean, I don't know what the writers are doing and maybe this is more justified than we know, but Elliot should have at least hinted to or admitted to his mother's illness in one of the previous 9 seasons...I guess we'll just have to wait and see

I thought the same think when I read the story line, I think it is too big an issue that can just come up out of the blue.

of course want to add the drama but part of be thinks it is there way of excusing Kathleen's behavior. I mean she can have done all the things they will have her do and protray her as a "wild child" instead of someone with a mental issue to take the blame. Maybe it is just me. Nothing up to now has suggested she has a psych problem, she was just your run of the mill self-centered cranky teen that annoys you.

Hopefully, they will make it work.
