You know what they say: Where there's smoke, there's usually a red-hot casting scoop.

There I was, enjoying a late-night dinner Sunday on New York's Upper West Side when who, pray tell, should walk by but Dylan McKay himself — Luke Perry! I quickly asked myself, "Self: What's Luke Perry doing in the Big Apple?"

A few phone calls, two picked locks and one well-placed bribe later, I got my answer: He's in town shooting an episode of Law & Order: SVU. And not just any episode: Perry's appearing in the hit procedural's Sept. 23 season premiere, an hour that also features guest turns by Sara Gilbert (Roseanne, ER) and Julie Bowen (Lost, Boston Legal, Ed).

According to sources, the plot revolves around a couple (Perry and Bowen) that stands accused of abusing their foster child. Gilbert plays the boy's biological mother.

The episode also marks the debut of SVU's new ADA, played by One Tree Hill knockout Michaela McManus, and deals with the repercussions of Benson's attempted rape, and answers some lingering questions surrounding the possible transfer of Ice-T's Fin.

Bottom line: This episode is going to be smokin'!

dont you guys find it a little weird that elliot supposedly hooked up liv with this doctor person?? i mean in the past, he has pretty much kept his distance, when it came to her personal life, and dates, and now hes fixing her up with this guy?? first of all, i just think thats way out of character and the writers just want to add more drama, and second, how will they say he knows this guy?? they just met during a case at the hospital and elliot decided to hook them up while he was waiting for a rape kit or what?? old friend?? where could he have possibly met a doctor?? highschool, cha, doubt it,



i guess im just a little skeptical on this whole thing, itll probably just last a few wks or months and itll be over with, just cuz they wanted to throw something in there intersting, well, you know when the writers have become desperate enough to make the actors jump out of character, you know the shows going down hill......

Weather or not this is true I cannot say, but I will stae that I am not and E/O fan i see them more has brother and sister, mainly becaus I think all the guys including Elliot would willingly "accidently" kill a person who hurt Olivia, But I thgink it would be really interesting to see Elliot protetive of Olivia in her personal life, not just her professional life like he was with Kurt this season.

I wouldn't get too carried away if I were you. Knowing how they like to exaggerate- remember the "pizza box explosion"- well that wasn't exactly a wowza like how Ausiello once put it. They are trying to get you excitied for the season which is absolutely unnecessary since I've been excitied since May!

Well according to Aussello, Neal Baer did say it but...we will have to see if this 'naked' situation even twix their nithers like Aussello was leaning towards. I doubt it though. They will probubly blush, bring out their badges and guns and go do some naked detective work. Just because they are naked on the job doesn't mean Stabler's going to pounce on his single partner. It just means that they will be in a compromising situation. What's a little undercover work without clothes really mean anyways? It's just another tease the writers are giving the Elliot and Olivia shippers to appease them. They should know by now what will appease us but hey, why not give them something to talk about. LOL! If something does come of it, I will be falling off my seat in shock. But...let's not forget that Elliot is married with 5 kids at home. That's the main reason for me doubting that anything will happen. If it does it will be a mistake and where's the fun in that?

Maybe we can see an entire ten minutes of the doctor/serious relationship rather then the three minutes we saw Kurt. LOL! See, it's stuff like this that are the reason I don't get worked up over spoilers. If it happens then great for Liv and if not then same old same old. I'll believe it when I see it. But thanks for the info sweetie. Actually seeing Liv in a long lasting relationship will be new territory for the writers. We'll see if they can actually pull it off.

New scenario, this doctor is Olivia's "blind date" if the spoiler is in fact true. Which may lead up to her marrying and leaving SVU. Goodness I hope she doesn't but seeing as how NB likes to screw people over it's still in the back of my mind. But I'm wondering, why they would choose someone with a different career because she works hectic hours and doctors do to.

There is a spoiler at svufans where someone saw them filming outside at one of the sets, and they saw Olivia arriving to a crime scene in a dress, so it may be true. We just have to wait and see

However, here's my take on the whole Olivia dating a doctor story: what if one person just told another that Olivia is seeing a doctor, as in like a patient, because we've read from the NBC blog that she will be seeking help in dealing with the trauma from "Undercover," and it was misunderstood by the other person and interpreted it as dating? From that, it could just be speculation that Elliot introduced them and somehow, it turned into a rumor of a spoiler? Y' know what I mean?

I guess we'll just have to wait for the new episodes to verify anything.

meh, the spoilers i read at tv.com are usually accurate, and i dont think the person has anything to gain with screwing around with us, why waist the time?? it does seem a little out of character for elliot to do this, and i think thats what disappoints me the most, can anyone see him doing this?? i really cant, i wonder how everythings going to play out, but unfortunately like everything else on here, we have to wait and see.

OMG, they're shooting a scene in Annie Barrett's cubicle?!


Okay. This could very well be NB messing with us. Heck, they could be investigating a crime scene at a nudist colony/beach/party! Somewhere without clothes could mean a lot of places other than the bedroom or a lovers' tryst.

thats exactly what i was thinking, weve watched this show for 10 yrs now and we know that elliot and olivia would never, ever walk nude in front of eachother i dont care which shipper you guyz are, that just wont happen, there messing with us, i just didnt think what the writers thought we were this stupid

I totally agree with pinkydog123. Although it would be funny if Elliot and Olivia were, for some reason, in their birthday suits/skivies in front of each other, I think it's definitely unlikely that it will happen. Also, I haven't been watchign the show that long and it doesn't seem to me that either one of them would let that happen, although it is amusing to imagine...

I think it's definitely possible if they're investigating a scene at a nudist place or something (do those exist in NYC?). Well, at least is sounds more plausible then the two of them deciding to be naked cops ahahaa

A woman I work with just moved from NYC and had no compunction telling us about the swingers clubs she and her ex attended, I'm sure they didn't have any clothes on quite a bit of the time!!! So yeah, I'm sure nudists congregate in a club setting there, too. It may not be like sunbathing on the the Riviera. . . . . I can just picture E & O going UNDERCOVER in that setting, too. LOL.

and its dudette, i dont think i would be calling myself pinky if i was a dude

I'm still holding my doubt until it is officially confirmed instead of someone saying"I heard", we haven't heard anything about it from anyone else who has access to sides or sources from spoilers, so all we can do is wait and see.

ok, you guyz can remain skeptical, i still dont really see why this person over there would waste her time lying to everyone, but thats ok, its not something thats completely impossible and wouldnt happen....

Noone said she was lying and noone said it was impossible, we just choose not to get worked up or upset over something we don't know is true yet, that has caused to many fights in the past and noone want's to go through that again. She never stated a source she just said "she heard", "we heard" about a Easter bunny scene and that never happened. So yeah, we're going to remain skeptical.
