I would upload any I get here, I don't have a myspace account.

Actually I am not visitng NY, I live here and others are visiting, so I will always keep an eye out for the SVU trailers!

I'm surprised you don't stalk!

I think the SVU set is in New Jersey though and some scenes here and there.

I hope they start filming soon because in two weeks I will be playing tour guide in Manhattqn and I will have my camera out and ready. If I get any pictures you guys will be the first to see them. I am not getting my hopes up though. I will be prepared, but I doubt they will be filming in the tourist spots like the Statue of Liberty or Time Square in the middle of summer. Maybe I should give tours of under the West Side Highway and obscure buildings in Brooklyn.

I know! I will do an SVU tour! I will take them to places referenced in the show like The Ramble in Central Park, Coney Island. We will go where Hudson University and Mercy Hospital would be if they were real. Remember the Westchester Mall in "Home"? that wasn't the Westchester mall the Westchester Mall is an indoor upscale maill in (you guessed it) Westchester. The place they showed was actually shopping center in Co-op City in the Bronx, I'll take them there, too! Actually I live 10 minutes from there so I probably would have taken them there anyway.

That sounds like fun, right? Who needs a broadway play when you can go to walk around the City stalking Chris and Mariska?

as far as i know, theyve already started filming...

i dont know if we have discussed this, more on Olivia seeing the shrink, from tv.com spoiler thread,

So Olivia goes to the Doctor's office and basically tells the doctor she doesn't know why she feels the way she does when she wasn't even raped. She says she is all jumpy and can't sleep and feels like she has lost control. She starts to blame herself for even letting herself get in that situation. The last thing she says is she needs help dealing with it. That is the end of the episode.

if she has been feeling this way all along, im even suprised she was able to have a healthy relationship with Kurt Moss, or maybe she had been making excuses not to move exactly because of what happened to her, and liv should know shes all jumpy probably because her body still hasnt gotten over the event, since she wasnt raped her body is still waiting to be, i mean shes told rape victims that all the time, but it was a little diffrent, they were waiting for it to happen again, but her body is still waiting for it to happen at all, that could also explain why she even threw her arm around elliot in CLOSET, which i dont even know why they did that, completey random and out there.

Part of the reason I'm surprised they are actually following up on Undercover was because life went on as normal for the rest of the season (and we know the TPTB record for follow up). But hey, this is super Benson we're talking about. ;-) I could definitely hear her internal dialogue about how she works with this every day, shes a police officer, shes strong, etc., etc. and she shouldn't be affected by this. Denial is not just a river in Egypt. dry.gif There are stages of rape recovery like there are for grief. And the first is shock and disbelief. Basically you can pretend it didn't happen. I believe she had been with Kurt Moss during her prison undercover assignment- they supposedly been dating for a few months prior to their break up. Maybe he did help her on some level that had her be normal-like for Closet, comforting her but now, since their break up, her memories have been haunting her. That's my theory.

ya, thats what i was thinking, even though Kurt wasnt the guy for her, i was thinking their relationship was ok, and than when she went undercover and came back, thats when it went south, probably because she became detached, and ive never been raped, or attempted at rape, but i would imagine that it would be extremely difficult for anyone to be intimate after it happened,

liv is tough, but like elliot said, shes not superwoman

Ice -T is coming back, I think that story line is just a way to explain his remaining in SVU. he puts in for a transferbecasue of the bad blood with Elliot, but it is denied by this dude with a grudge. This will also give them an oppertunity to keep the riff between Elliot and Fin for a little longer.

This is just a guess, not a spoiler. If I guessed right and I ruined it, don't be mad at me. If I guessed right and you like it, send money.

ooooohh, thats whats happening. Thank you for explaining it!. As for sending money lol, I can post you an Australian $1 coin if you like. It will be worth about 20 cents US probably.lol. Seriously though I am glad Fins not leaving.
kaysee
There's a part where Fin refers to Elliot as Cranky Balls and says he's only nice to victims. I think the rift is probably going to continue for awhile and they will just tolerate each other because they have a job to do. Maybe further down the line something will happen where they realize how much they admire and like each other.
UncommonDissent1776
Fin and Elliot are still at odds. And Olivia is dealing with the aftermath of the violent almost-rape she underwent. I'm glad.

Continuity is a good thing.

Thanks for the info, Kaysee.

that kind of reminds me of 'fat' where blaine and elliot just pushed things aside just to finish the case and get it over with, but like you said, im sure theyll have one ep, maybe where fin and elliot are forced to work together, just like fin and liv had to in like what?? season 3?? and than somethingll happen and theyll probably just get over it, honestly, i really dont see the big deal, ya, elliot didn trust fin, but hes done that to liv in the past, and shes always forgiven elliot, fin could too,

Elliot has never LUDs Olivia's phone records to see who she had been calling, especially without her permission. It's two different situations- between mistrust, going behind one's back to dump the phone records to seeing different eye to eye situations.

I have to agree. Elliot has done some pretty questionable things in the past to his partner but when he suspects that she is in harms way or that she is doing something that could get her in trouble, he talks to her and tries to help her out. In Fin’s case, Elliot treated him like a perp. He should have talked to Fin and asked him. Fin has never done anything that would cause his co-workers to question his actions. He may have talked to Lake but he never suggested that the guy run for the hills. He simply informed him that they are looking at charging him. Any of the detectives would have told the perpetrators the same thing or the perpetrators would have gotten the hint by a mere conversation with the detectives. Lake knew he was in trouble after the shooting. Fin didn’t do anything Elliot would have done for Olivia. He would have fought like crazy to protect her or help her. I believe Fin has every right to mistrust Elliot and to request a transfer. I like Elliot but what he did to Fin was not right. If the tables were turned, Elliot would have had Fin’s head in the wall.

Yep! But they are two different guys with different ways of acting....and they are strong males...that's why sometimes there are tensions... Just really hope Fin won't ask for transfer just for a question of non standing Elliot. They are not direct partners. We'll see later !

Last comment, just to make you smile, the admin issue and change in your name made you grow up from Classicgirl to Classiswoman...It's a kind of evolution, isn't is? lol wink.gif

This is a spoiler from ITPROF4U at tv.com. Special thanks to her...

Olivia is at coffee pot and it is empty and gives a look. Munch passes by and states that the requsitionally challenged PAA (whatever that is) forgot to order coffee, so they sent her out for a latte run. Olivia questions why they didn't get her one. Munch states that he is sure her partner had her back. At that point Elliot comes into scene and states, "In my defense I could have sworn you switched to herbal tea like a year ago." Olivia states she did but she got no sleep the night before (setup for final scene). Elliot then asks Olivia if her lack of sleep is due to her blind date from the night before. She states that she cancelled it. Munch has a cute line here stating something like a lottery analogy that "you have to be in it, to win it".

This scene sets up scene for later in episode where [Elliot] brings [Olivia] some coffee.

I must remind everybody again that this is all pre-production, always subject to change and actually several of these have already been revised."

Sounds like a cute scene, in my opinion. smile.gif

I totally agree with that. There are definitely stages of traumatic events, like death and rape, and each person reacts differently. I think the whole disbelief thing is most likely to be fading away first...then it's bring on the shame, guilt, overwhelming feelings, and possible depression/anger. Also, I am curious is this is the "mental health" problem they're going to have Elliot's character deal with...I mean, Olivia's not his kids, wife, or mother, but it would make sense if Olivia's mentality was affecting him as well...they are very close. I am curious to see how the writers are going to deal with this subject matter. It's a different twist from how we see rape victims react. In most cases, these people are not cops and did not have the extra added sense of knowing how to keep safe. And Olivia is really independent, which can also be shown as stubbornness, and I'm interested to see if that interferes anymore than it already has...
ClAsSiCgIrL
I think denial could be a large part of it. She couldn't even talk to Elliot about what had dappened to her so my best bet would be that she is going by what she said while talking about her mother. "If you don't talk about it, then the abuse isn't real." I think time will reveal just how real it is.

ITPROF4U is pretty reliable, meaning that she never makes up spoilers out of no where. Although some things change in production, most of what she says usually ends up happening.

I hope that scene doesn't change. It would be a cute scene.

I creep out when I see Ausiello's name...

Exclusive: Perry, Bowen, Gilbert Summoned to 'SVU'
You know what they say: Where there's smoke, there's usually a red-hot casting scoop.

There I was, enjoying a late-night dinner Sunday on New York's Upper West Side when who, pray tell, should walk by but Dylan McKay himself — Luke Perry! I quickly asked myself, "Self: What's Luke Perry doing in the Big Apple?"

A few phone calls, two picked locks and one well-placed bribe later, I got my answer: He's in town shooting an episode of Law & Order: SVU. And not just any episode: Perry's appearing in the hit procedural's Sept. 23 season premiere, an hour that also features guest turns by Sara Gilbert (Roseanne, ER) and Julie Bowen (Lost, Boston Legal, Ed).

According to sources, the plot revolves around a couple (Perry and Bowen) that stands accused of abusing their foster child. Gilbert plays the boy's biological mother.

The episode also marks the debut of SVU's new ADA, played by One Tree Hill knockout Michaela McManus, and deals with the repercussions of Benson's attempted rape, and answers some lingering questions surrounding the possible transfer of Ice-T's Fin.

Bottom line: This episode is going to be smokin'!
