So was anyone watching? Did they show a preview tonight? Probably not...

These days I'm almost as obsessed with watching cnn as I am with svu. c'mon who can resist Wolf Blitzer? I'd rather not be changing the channel back and forth. When I watch svu it usually has my full attention.

I loath politics and elections are worse. "Can he do what I can do? Well of course not. I am the man for you." or "Did you see the way he hit that girls butt when he was 13? Not a very nice thing for a future president to do. That's why I am the man for the job." LOL! I cannot wait for this stupid election to be done with. We have been hearing about it for 2 bloody years and it's high time someone gets picked. I'm almost ready to say, "Just pick one and be done with it!" I'll do my civic duty and vote but after that, SVU is what I am going to be watching.

Is it me or is the character of Haung is starting to look more and more gay. I know BD is gay in real life but on the show you would never have guessed if he was gay or not.

I did say I would be gone for a week to go to the World Science Fiction Convention in Denver. After that there were some problems where I used to work and I went back to help them out.

I thought the diaper duty remark was a joke/sarcastic reply, like one might say to a question with an obvious answer for example. "What do you think I'm doing here? Duh." I took the line with humor, not suspicion.

Elliot used the "diaper duty" remark to avoid telling Olivia he was waiting to talk to her about what happened in the basement. Remember from Loophole that Elliot has spies. He knew something had happened to Olivia in Sealview. Good partner that he is, he wanted to know from Olivia what happened so he could help. He tries to engage her in conversation hoping she'll talk about what happened. But she didn't take the opening so he eventually had to ask her straight out.

It may not be possible, but I would like an ep where it shows Casey being Lake's defense attorney, after all, she only resigned, not got disbarred, right? I just feel like I need resolution about those two.

That's unlikely to happen. Casey did not simply resign form the DA's office. From Donnelly's comments, Casey was going to be censured but more likely going to be suspended from the practice of law for at least a year, maybe more. Even if she did only receive a censure, she would not be allowed to be Lake's defense attorney. There would be a conflict of interest issue because she prosecuted Krane.

Also, His, I would like your opinion on Bernadette Stabler when you get a chance !!

Aside from surprise that Elliot's mother is alive, I am disappointed that she supposedly has bipolar disorder. SVU has used that particular mental illness too much already. Elliot has never reacted to it in the past in a way that shows someone in his family had it. A better choice for Bernadette would have been unipolar or simple depression. That fits better with Elliot's statement in Scheherazade that his parents weren't very affectionate. A mother with manic episodes wouldn't match that description.

I remember the part when Elliot was joking around Olivia saying "If Kathy's pregnant again, I'd shoot myself." Can't recall which season he said that, but that was my favorite line.

The line is from Choice from season 5.

Elliot is not likely to leave Kathy for a multitude of reasons. But even if he did, he still won't want to be with Olivia other than as her partner at work.

Hisgirl please, I think the majority of us agreed that no debating should go on in this thread, I myself am getting tired of it. It needs to stop please if you must there is PM. Once again, we know nothing that is going to happen this season so none of us can say what we do know, that's getting pretty old too none of us work for SVU if you want to but your perspectives in on what you want to happen that's fine, but none of us have any right to tell someone what they want isn't going to happen. This thread doesn't need to go anymore OT. Hopefully it'll stop.

They are standing in about the same place as they have been before. But they are definaitely facing away from each other. Preparing to walk away from each and go down their own path.

Does ayone know what the thrid episode wil be? Is it Swing? I can't find it listed. I think I am looking forward to seeing this one the most because of Elliot's mother.

I liked those pictures but the one is question I do not think will be the opening shot, that one is done in the "squadroom". I think they way they are standing is just what the photograper told them to do and does not signify any emotion. But if they were prepared to walk down seprate paths , since they will face ech other in the opening photo, I guess they changed their minds.

^^^Well you also have to think about it as a "tendom" when they are filming one episode and the other team is doing another. But still, I'm glad Warner will have her own episode- I liked her in Blast and even though I'm not too crazy about the premise of Harm I did think her performance was great. Maybe also we will learn more about her, learn more about her marriage and daughter. I'm interested and yeah, Chris and Mariska deserve a break for cranking out great performances, right?
