More detail on the casting of David Alan Basche in 'Starter Wife' --
KBSRadio reports -------- Debra Messing will have a new ex-husband when The Starter Wife returns to USA Network as a regular series in October, according to the Hollywood Reporter. Peter Jacobson, who played the Hollywood mogul Messing's character was formerly married to in the original Starter Wife mini-series, is tied up with Fox's House, so David Alan Basche has been recruited for the part. Basche was most recently seen on NBC's Lipstick Jungle.
