Hi, there

I dunno if you discussed this already, but I was able to watch Monk Bumps his Head again yesterday, and as it did on the first time, this question came again in my mind: Did Jerry slept with Cora????

Really, today I do believe they slept together, because Monk was doing everything Cora orders, was very submissive becouse of his lack of memory. Even when he remembers Trudy while kissing Cora, confessing to her he loved Trudy and was fritghtened by Cora, next morning we see him with changed clothes, and I assume they slept together. I know, he could have changed clothes becouse he´s Monk or this is a normall thing to do in the mornings, but, well, definetly he slept in the house, and I do believe Cora wouldn´t allow him to sleep alone.

When he was back to the house, with Natalie, Leland and Randy, he wasn´t mad at Cora, he wasn´t freaking out, he was calm and kinda understandable about Cora´s situation, and said he wouldn´t press any charges. Ok, press charges on the fake marriage situation or on other issue, more intimate one (sorry, i have put the words I mean, but it sounded a bit awkward here...)?

above everything, he was glad to going back to his " normal" life, and just wanted to leave this "new town/life episode" back in his life.

Sorry for this late post on this late issue, but I really wanna know what you think or already discussed about this.

Hugs

I really don't think anything happened between them. I know Cora was interested but he never seemed interested in her and once he remembered Trudy I don't think there was a chance.

I could be wrong...but I don't think so. smile.giftongue.gif

Okay, now you got me thinking, and that's a dangerous thing.

What charges could Monk have filed? And where did he sleep?

They must have slept in the same bed. They were supposed to be husband and wife. Even if Cora had camped out of the couch the first night to allow Jerry, recovering from the bump on his head, to get an undistubed night's rest, Cora was obviously so desirous of being close to Monk that she wouldn't have done that two nights in a row.

But I doubt it went farther than that, although several potential scenarios are dancing around my head giving me a good chuckle. I think the fact that he started remembering intimate moments with Trudy (which led him to believe he was having an affair) probably prohibited him from performing any husbandly duties with Cora. Monk is a poster child for monogamy.

As to the charges he could have filed, they might fall into the same category as the hobo's trenchcoat -- we will probably never know. But I could imagine that it might be some kind of fraud, or even taking advantage of a mental incompetant -- due to the amnesia.

I don't think he slept with her. He would never, never break his love to his Trudy. (at least until everything is solved and settled, even then, I don't know)

Well now this is an interesting question. It never crossed my mind that Monk and Cora actually did sleep together. I would have to say no. Monk started remembering Trudy and pieces started to fall back in place for him so I don't think he did.

No, I don't think he did. He was heading up the stairs, fearing the worst. And then when they were close, he remembered Trudy and that was that.

But one thing that has me confused is about Cora. When I first saw this episode, I thought she was part of the bad guys, trying to distract Monk by telling him who he was and what he has to do (chores). And then another part of me said no, Cora is just a strange woman who just wants a man around the house. So which is it?

I think she was just a strange woman who wanted a man around the house. If she were a part of the "bad guys" I don't think the writers would have let her skate at the end. They didn't press charges or anything so I would assume she was just an odd woman. (and odd she was tongue.gif )

I don't think Monk slept with her. Even though he knew he was her husband, he was still physically repulsed by her. wink.gif

I'm pretty sure that Adrian never slept with Cora. Like others said, he would never break his "vows" to Trudy and it's true that once he and Cora started getting close (her idea of course), he started remembering Trudy. That tells me that if something had happened before hand, the audience would have seen it and he would have remembered Trudy earlier.

As for pressing charges? Well, she did lead him on, making him think he was married to her for a while. She obviously knew that he had amnesia. Kind of like in that movie "Overboard" with Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russel. She fell off a boat or something and hit her head and he convinces her that she's the mother of his children. To me that's kind of like kidnapping, in a way. You know that people are probably worried about the person with amnesia, and yet you continue to try to convince them they are someone else in order for them to stay with you.

I loved that episode. My favorite part was when Adrian had his memory back and he sees Natalie, Randy and Leland across the street and they all wave at him. That is SO cute! I love it! Now if Adrian didn't think he had any friends after that episode, he was sorely mistaken! smile.gif
