Hello guys! Stacy here! Wow! It's been a while since I've been on this site! And then I saw all the great stories you guys have written...Job well done by the way ! And it inspired me to post some of mine on here too! Ok, so here goes...Alot! LOL!

Chapter 1: Late



Olivia, Casey, Elliot, Munch, Fin, and Cragen all stood in front of the dry erase board in silence, looking at all the information they had gathered on the Lawrence case. They had just hit a wall and were stuck pretty badly. Olivia was the first one to break the silence that had overwhelmed them for a good fifteen minutes.



"If Jefferson Michaels' DNA was found inside of Catherin, and she says was raped; yet Michaels claims he's never as so much as touched her and he's alibied by Catherin's husband…. Who do we--? " Olivia abruptly stopped what she was about say and quickly covered her mouth.



She ran out of the squad room and towards the restrooms colliding into Chester on the way out. Chester cocked his head in suspicion, but continued walking towards the group that now stood in confusion.



"Isn't it like the sixth time she's done that today?" Chester asked in confusion also, as he passed a cup of coffee over to Casey.



"Really? Do you want me to go check if she's ok?" Casey asked, finding it weird that Olivia was still here if she was so sick.



"Yeah Casey go check on her…. Elliot my office… NOW!" Cragen said as he retreated to his office… looking very pissed off.



Casey gave Elliot a questioning look but he just shrugged not knowing what the hell was going on, and followed Cragen to his office. While everyone else went back to they're desks, Casey headed over to the bathroom to check on Olivia. When she walked into the restroom, she heard someone heaving and was quickly guided to the stall that was clearly designated for invalided people. She knocked on it, and Liv was able to stand long enough to open the door and return to her position over the toilet throwing up all the contents she had once eaten.



Casey ran to Olivia's side and held her hair back as she rubbed soothing circles on the small of her back. After about five minutes, Olivia was finally done.



"Thanks, Case… but you didn't have to stay here with me." Olivia said in a raspy voice as she pressed her back onto the cold, tiled wall and closed her eyes.



"What kind of a friend would I be if I did…; Liv, Chester said it was like the sixth time today you came in here sick, Liv what's wrong?" Casey asked worried about her friend's well being.



Olivia looked away and lied "Nothing's wrong…."



"You're lying to me Olivia Benson… You should at least go to the doctor or go home early today…"



"No Casey, there's no need to." Olivia protested.



"You are so going to tell Alex, Mel, and I what's wrong tomorrow night. And what do you mean there's no need to! Look at yourself!" Casey said as she got off the floor and helping Olivia up as well.



"And what makes you think that? That'll be telling you guys…? And I'm not going Case, and that's final!"



"We'll see… and fine whatever, don't go." Casey said as she led Olivia out to where the sink was so that she could wash her face and mouth.



Olivia just smiled knowing that if she said anything else, questions would arise. She washed her face and mouth and dried them and then walked out of the bathroom with Casey by her side. When they entered the squad room, Elliot had already come out of the Captain's office and quickly ran to Olivia he saw her walk in.



"Hey baby, you okay?" Elliot asked in a hushed tone, as he rubbed her forearms.



"Yeah, I'll be fine." She replied and gave him a weak smile as she sat down at her desk.



"Liv, maybe you should go home and get some rest?" Elliot said in a concerned voice.



"There really is no need for that El, I'm jus fine!" she said as if trying to convince him. But Elliot didn't buy not one bit of it.



Right then, Casey who had started talking to Chester when she and Liv cam in said "Well guys, I have four piles of paperwork sitting on my desk with my name written all over them, and I gotta get them done before Adam has my ass and my job! Bye-bye!" She said as she walked out of the squad room.



"Bye Case!" all five detectives said in unison.

After fifteen minutes, Olivia was finally able to get back to work… only to be interrupted by receiving an instant message on Yahoo!

AdakickassNovak- Liv, I seriously think you should go to the doctor's….

LivlovesEl- Casey, did you come online just to start nagging me?

AdakickassNovak- Maybe… But I also wanted to know what movies to bring for tomorrow night….

LivlovesEl- Movies… ummm… bring '13 Going On 30' and 'Because I said so' and idk bring something funny! Oh and I am not going to the doctor, I have no need to…

AdakickassNovak- alright, I'll see what I can do about funny movies… but I still think you should totally go

LivlovesEl- I'm not going and that's final!!!

AdakickassNovak- Fine, whatever. Well, I'm going to try and finish at least most of this paperwork, and see if I can make it to tonight's date

As soon as her away sign came on, Olivia tried to get back to her paperwork, but her mind seemed to be racing with other thoughts. 'Now that I think about, maybe I should go see a doctor… I'm late.'

"Hey Liv?" Elliot asked.

But Olivia didn't answer back; she seemed to be very spaced out. Elliot called out her name again but she still didn't respond; he was beginning to get worried. Elliot stood up from his desk and went to kneel down next to her and put his hands on her knees as support, and then looked up at her. Was she in some kind of trance or something?

"Liv? Olivia!?!" Elliot said firmly, while snapping his fingers in front of her face.

"Huh? I'm sorry, El. I just feel so out of it right now. What was it that you said?" Olivia asked clearly feeling very disoriented.

"Ummm… Nothing; why don't you go upstairs to the cribs and take a small nap?" Elliot replied looking at Olivia's chocolate brown eyes, which were small, indicating just how tired she was.

Liv was way too tired to protest or argue with Elliot, so she nodded. As she stood up, Elliot stood up as well, she looked over at Munch, Fin and Chester, but those three were so into their work that they hadn't heard the conversation…or so she thought.

"I'll call you if anything… k?" Elliot said as he sat down in his chair again.

"Alright." Liv replied as she went up the stairs.

She entered the crib knowing that she was going to be able to get absolutely no sleep, but she tried anyway. She slipped into one of the bottom the bottom bunks and closed her eyes. Soon, the detective was off to Dreamland.

It felt to her as if she had only been sleeping for five minutes (in reality two hours), when Fin came to wake her. "Come on baby girl, we got ourselves a perp to catch." He said as he gently shook her.

Olivia fidgeted and then rolled over. Fin sighed and shook her shoulder yet again. She groaned and turned around to face Fin and open her eyes and saw him. "What?" She asked as she sat up on the bed.

"Our boy Jefferson Michaels is on the run… we were able to track him just as he took a little girl named Nina hostage at the subway… he's at a warehouse down on Amsterdam; come on." This instantly made Olivia wide awake. Fin began to walk out of the room but stopped at the sound of Olivia voice as she got up off the bed.

"But how did he go from rape to kidnap? Let me just get my gun and my vest on and I'll meet you guys at the garage." Fin nodded as he and Olivia walked out of the room together… she headed to her locker and he to the car where Munch and Chester were. Elliot was in a separate car waiting on Liv.

As soon as she had gotten her vest and her gun and were each secured in their proper places, she ran outside and hopped into her and Elliot's car, where Elliot had been waiting oh so very patiently! "Let's go catch this bastard!" She said as she got her seat belt on.

Elliot just smiled, and signaled Fin to go ahead. Soon, police sirens polluted the streets of Manhattan. When they reached Amsterdam, where the warehouse was located, there were two other squad cars that were there incase any extra help was needed to catch this guy. Elliot, Olivia, Cragen, Fin, Munch and Lake, all stood around the hood of one of the cars with a map of the warehouse, and making plans of who was going where.

"Elliot, you're taking the right hand corner door. Liv you're going inside along with Chester. Fin and Munch will cover around back." Cragen directed. They all nodded and all went to there assigned posts.

Olivia and Chester ran towards the door of the warehouse, only to find that it had a master lock on it. "We need a crowbar over here!" Benson yelled to one of the uniformed officers.



One of them ran over with the tool and broke the lock. He ran back and Chester opened the door. They nodded to each other in agreement and they went in. Olivia then whispered over to Ches "Hey, I'll cover the upstairs. You take down." "Okay." Chester replied as he headed downstairs.

Olivia took her gun out of its holster and went upstairs, and heard a cry of a child. She tried to follow the sound but it was a little to faint for the human ear. "Nina, honey! Can you hear me!?!? Bang on something if you can!" Olivia screamed, hoping that she would soon find her.

I'M BACK!!!!!!!!!! Part 3 of Chapter one... is here! YAY!!! I might update as well tonight, since I won't be able to tomorrow morning...okie dokie smokie??? COMMENT!!! Thank you to those who already have! You make me HAPPY!! I'm a tad bit hyper... *starts running around on a sever sugar rush...slams into a wall* Ooooh!! Pretty birdies!!!! Anywho's moving on...ENJOY!!

Nina banged on something really hard, making it sound throughout the whole floor; Olivia was able to follow this sound to a room. She shook the knob only to find that it was locked… and to find that it also had another lock that made it impossible to open without the key or breaking the door down. This was exactly what Olivia did. She took a head start and then ran to the door, ramming her shoulder into it.

She felt something in shoulder snap as she did so and the pain of it all began to run its course through her body. At first she was so close to screaming in agony but decided against it when she found that she had opened the door, and that little Nina was pressed against the wall crying with her legs up to her chest hugging them rocking herself back and forth. Olivia ran towards her and said quietly not wanting to startle the girl. "Hi, my name's Olivia, are you hurt anywhere?"

Nina shook her head no and Olivia took out her walkie-talkie out to page Cragen. "Captain, I have Nina now, but I was not able to find Jefferson Michaels."

Nina cringed at the sound of his name, and Olivia noticed this. 'This bastard did something to her!' she thought and then heard Cragen reply to what she had just said. "Chester just caught Michaels; you can bring Nina out now." Olivia nodded "Yes Capt."

Olivia bent over to pick up Nina, though her left shoulder was very well dislocated. She shifted Nina to her right side, though Nina couldn't have weighed no more than fifty pounds, which was pretty light for a ten year old girl. As Olivia walked down the stairs was when she really began to feel the pain from her dislocated shoulder. But, she gritted her teeth and pulled through it, until she stepped outside, into the blinding light of the sun hitting her eyes.

Nina tried to jump off of Olivia's arms the moment she saw that her older sister was there. But Liv didn't let her, instead she led her to an ambulance where a paramedic was there waiting with a gurney.

Olivia set Nina down on it and then said in an drained and heavy breathing voice "Nina, I'm gonna need you to tell me everything that he said to you or did to you while you were with him as we drive you over to the hospital to have the doctor's check you over, ok honey?"

Nina nodded and then asked "What about my sister?"

Olivia could sense the terror and fear in this girl's eyes and voice, so she replied gently "She'll be at the hospital, don't worry, she or I won't leave your side, ok?"

"Yes…." Nina replied just a tad more hesitant than before.

"We ready to go?" asked the paramedic who's name was Bob (<-- LOL!) in a thick southern accent.

"Yes we're ready, I'm riding." Olivia answered to his unasked question.

'I'll just have to call the Captain at the hospital; and I'm pretty sure that Elliot is picking me up at the hospital anyway, after I have Nina's statement and her rape kit.' Olivia thought, and then began to ask Nina the necessary questions she would need for her report, DD5 and her statement. Just like planned, on their way to the hospital Olivia had gotten Nina's full statement. So by the time they got to the hospital Nina got her rape kit done and was reunited with her sister.

Olivia was in the waiting room, waiting for the doctor to give her the rape kit that had been conducted. As the doctor came out of the double doors with a manila envelope at hand, Olivia stood up as well but kept her left arm firmly in place to her side, afraid that if she moved it the pain would be to intense for her to handle quietly.
When the doctor got to Olivia, he gave her the envelope and said "Here you go detective, and if you don't mind me asking what is wrong with your should?"

'They should seriously think about changing your names from doctors to psychics' Olivia thought sarcastically. She tried to make up a quick lie before the doctor would even think of asking her if she wanted to be examined. "Oh, that, yeah it's fine, thank you for the kit." She replied quickly and walked outside and got in the car where Elliot had been waiting to take her to drop off the rape kit at the morgue.

"Baby you okay? No nausea or anything?" Elliot asked wanting to make sure she was alright after they're little adrenaline rush.

"Yeah, I'm fine." She replied as she got her seatbelt on wincing she bit her bottom lips as it came into contact with her arm when she had to lift it to get her seatbelt in.

Elliot quickly took notice of his partner/girlfriend's change in facial expression. 'Did she get hurt and not tell me anything? Why?' Elliot thought and then asked "Liv, did you get hurt?"

Olivia looked away and said "No Elliot I didn't get hurt."

Elliot went to tap her left shoulder and Olivia flinched before he even touched her. "Why didn't you tell me anything?"

"Because it's nothing Elliot… plus, you'd end up dragging me to the doctor's office for no reason!" She replied looking out the window.

"Damn right I am! Let's go! I'm taking you in whether you want to or not!" Elliot said as he switched gears and started towards the direction of her private doctor….

"Elliot no! There's nothing wrong with me!! I'm fine!" Olivia shouted and swiftly turned to look at Elliot, and held back a scream at the quick movement of her shoulder.

Elliot rolled his eyes "Sure, whatever, I'm still taking you. We're like five minutes away. And anyway, now you can find out why you've been throwing up more than a pregnant woman going through morning sickness." Olivia just looked at him and said nothing.

Olivia just looked at him and said nothing. She already knew that she wasn't going to win this fight, and that Elliot did have a point. She began to look out the window as they both drove in comfortable silence and soon found herself drifting off; Only to have the shrilling sound of her cell phone ringing.

She groaned and picked up her phone, answering in her usual tone "Benson."

"Olivia, its Cragen, where are you and Elliot at right now?" He replied.

"Detective Stabler here, is dragging me to the doctor's office… what do you need Capt.?" Olivia replied back, while sending Elliot a glare and he just gave her one of his crap-eating grins in return.

"Good! I don't need anything actually. It's 4:30pm now, and it's been a long day, since we got our guy and the arraignment isn't till tomorrow, you and the rest of the squad could have the rest of th0e day off." Cragen said.

"Thank you Capt.! I'll tell Stabler. Ok…bye." Olivia said and then hung up. Elliot gave her a questioning look.

"He gave us the rest of the day to ourselves." She replied.

"Oh. Uhhh…. Do you want to go to dinner tonight?" he asked with another one of his infamous smiles and wiggling his eyebrows.

"What are you thinking Elliot Stabler?" she asked laughing.

"You'll just have to wait and see…. We're here!" he replied as he parked the car in the closest space he could find.

Olivia's mood suddenly changed, from happy and laughing to stubborn and mad. "I'm not going! I refuse to leave this car!!"



Elliot just shrugged and got out of the car. When he exited, Liv had a smile of triumph, happy that she had gotten her way…. Until she saw Elliot on her side of the car. He reached over and opened her door. "Elliot!! I said I wasn't going!! And I'm not going!! That's final!" Olivia said as she crossed her right arm over her chest.

Elliot had to admit, Olivia really could be as stubborn as a mule that's standing in the middle of a street about to be hit by a car and still won't budge! "Liv!! Please!!! For your own sake! I am begging you to come!!" Olivia shook her head no. "Olivia Marie Benson!! You have two choices: Either you get out and walk there yourself, or I'll carry you there!"

Again Olivia shook her head no. Elliot shrugs and walked closer to her. His hand reached over to the belt buckle and he unbuckled her seat belt and took it off. Then he put his arm around the back of her neck and the other around her legs and he lifted her out of the car and shifted her to make it more comfy for him to carry her. "Elliot put me down!!" Olivia struggled to get down.

Elliot asked "Are you planning to cooperate?" Olivia shook her head and he said "Well looks like you are going to be carried." Elliot pulled one of his legs back and shut the door with it. Olivia then just gave up on trying to get down and leaned into Elliot's chest, though her shoulder was protesting different!

And with that Elliot proceeded walking to the entrance of the doctor's office, carrying Olivia in bridal style, Elliot thought 'I can't wait to carry her like this when she really is my bride.'

Just as Elliot neared the door, someone was coming out also. Elliot didn't look up at them because he had been asking Olivia something. But then he heard a "Elliot?"

Hello peoples!!!! Guess what?!?! I got Chappy number two ready for you guys! Do ya wanna read it??? Ok!!! But just so you know, I wasn't really feeling this chappy, and if you guys aren't feeling it either, let me know in your comment, and I'll rewrite the chapter, okie dokie??? Well, here goes!! ENJOY!!!!!

"Kathy?" Elliot said.



"Umm.. Elliot, I think you should put me down now…" Olivia said nudging Elliot who had froze in complete shock.



He gulped and came out of his state of shock "Oh yeah, uhhh… sorry about that Liv," he put Olivia down on the ground where she brushed herself off a bit and looked at Kathy, who had an incredulous look on her face.



She laughs angrily (I'm not sure it that's what they call it…) and says while shaking her head in dismay "I should've known you had been sleeping around, your partner being the primary hooker! After all these years of denying it, finally I catch you in the act."



Elliot gets very pissed off at what Kathy says and yells back "Hey watch it! She's more of a woman that you'll ever be!! And why should you care anyways? We're no longer together and the divorce was complete 8 months ago!"



"I care when my children are involved!" Kathy shot back with anger slightly similar to Elliot's.



Olivia couldn't take it any longer, she had to step into the argument and defend Elliot and herself. "What kids? You mean the ones you abandoned, 6 months ago and handed full custody over to Elliot, so that you can run off with some random guy? And you still call yourself a mother? And you keep saying that Elliot is sleeping around?"



Kathy fumed back more pissed off than before, "Olivia shut the hell up! This has absolutely nothing to do with you!!!" Kathy hen turned to Elliot but Olivia cut her off before she could.



"Actually, it does have something to do with me. I've been the one looking after your kids! Don't get me wrong, they're no burden to me, I love them. But do you know how scared Lizzie was when she got her first period? Because she didn't know what was happening to her, because you couldn't take the time out of your 'oh sooo busy' schedule to explain it to her, or how Kathleen was afraid to tell her father about her boyfriend?



When Kathy said nothing Olivia turned to Elliot whose jaw had dropped, and was now even more shocked then before, she said "I didn't think so. Go back to Florida Kathy; I don't think your kids want to see you. Elliot, I'll wait for you inside." Olivia then turned on her heels and walked away. Elliot thought 'That's exactly why I love that woman.'



Olivia had told the truth, the kids had formed hatred toward Kathy, and though Olivia didn't approve of this feeling toward their mother like that, she kind of did understand why they felt this way. She turned to see Elliot walking toward her as Kathy also turned around and gave Olivia an evil glare and walked to her car. Elliot was taking his sweet time getting to the door that Liv now held open for him.



Olivia got irritated and snapped "Are you planning on coming in today Elliot?"



"Listen, we should talk about what happened in the parking lot…" Elliot suggested.



"Not now, later!" She replied as the door closed behind them and they entered the doctor's office.



"A tad testy today, are we?" Elliot asked as he walked in, Olivia didn't respond and just walked to the receptionist's desk.



Elliot looked around the quiet and empty waiting room. There was only a woman sitting on a chair reading a parenting magazine, so he took a seat two chairs away from her. Elliot knew that if Olivia said she didn't want to talk about it now, he wouldn't touch the subject till later, or these days at least.



Olivia then smiling turned around from the receptionist's desk. "What did she say, babe?" Elliot asked.



"She will be right with me, just have to wait like five minutes or so." Olivia replied standing in front of him and with her right hand holding his left, as she kept her left shoulder in place like before.



"Ok, do you want me to stay? Come sit…" Elliot said in a whisper and patting the chair next to him.



"Yes, I want you to stay with me. I don't want to be alone." She said as she sat down and a tear came out of her eyes.



'Am I missing something here?' Elliot thought and reached over to wipe the tears with his thumbs. "I'm not going anywhere sweetie, as long as you want me here, I'll be here." As he took her into his arms.



"Sorry El. I don't know I've been pretty emotional lately. Like last night, I was watching TV and I saw a commercial and I started crying and I couldn't stop!" she pouted her eyes watering again.



Elliot let out a small laugh and just as he said "Olivia Benson? Crying? That's not possible!" She slapped his arm playfully and giggled a bit.



The nurse came out with a chart at hand and called out "Olivia Benson?"





Olivia looked up and got up, still holding Elliot's hand they followed the nurse into a small room filled some really weird looking machines and pictures and all those things that doctors usually used. "Okay, so if you'll just put this gown on, Doctor Michaels will be in, in a moment."



Olivia quickly changed and then Elliot and the doctor both entered together and were very engaged in a conversation about 'Football?' Olivia thought as she sat on the examination table.



"But did you see that throw Eli Manning did in the second quarter? It was just crazy!" Elliot exclaimed.



Dr. Lisa Michaels nodded and replied "Yeah my husband and I were watching it, now he went crazy by the last quarter, but I was kinda routing more for the Patriots."

"THE PATRIOTS! But how?!" Elliot said scratching the back of his head.



"They have a better team" she said nodding sadly.



They continued to talk and Olivia just sat there watching the whole display… had they completely forgotten about her? Olivia cleared her throat to make herself be known in the room. Both Elliot and Dr. Michaels turned to Liv and she said "Sorry Ms. Benson, but Detective Stabler here got me started on the discussion of football."



"It's ok; He tends to have that effect on people…"



"Alright then, well, let's get started. When you came in you said something about hurting your left shoulder out on the job today?" Dr Michaels said and Olivia nodded. "Ok, let me take a look then."



She went to Olivia's left side and slowly lifted her sleeve to not cause any further damage to her shoulder. She put her hand gently on the nerve of the shoulder and Olivia flinched. "Sorry." The doctor said.



Dr. Michaels continued to examine her shoulder and Elliot got up from the uncomfortable plastic chair and went to stand next to Olivia and hold her hand.



"Well, it's not dislocated just a small muscle spasm. You'll be fine by Monday, but I suggest taking the day off tomorrow, ok?" Lisa recommended.



Before Olivia could open her mouth to protest, but Elliot responded for her "Don't worry doctor she'll be taking tomorrow and the weekend off too."



"Ok, that's even better!" Dr. Michaels said leaving no room for Olivia to again object to Elliot and the doctor, whom were making her decisions without her!



"Well Olivia, you came at the right time for your yearly check up, so we're just going to go draw some blood, and then we'll continue." Olivia nodded and she and Lisa walked to the blood lab, leaving Elliot alone in the room with his thoughts.

Hey guys! Thanks soo much for the comments!!!! They make me sprint around the room with glee! (my english teacher would be proud of all the big words.) I will not be updating tonight, but i will tomorrow PROMISE!!! You can blame my parents for this one since they are the ones dragging me to New York..! Grr!!!ttyl!!!

Ok, so I felt VERY guilty that I hadn't updated in like two days, and I wasn't going to torture you guys any longer... so here's part 1 of chapter 3... Part 2 will be on tomorrow when I get home from school. So let me know what you guys think. Warning: this part may cause a few tears...it caused me some as well, as I wrote it..LOL!!! Well, enough delaying! Here goes! ENJOY!!!

Chapter 3 Part 1



Olivia and Elliot exited the doctor's office, and headed towards the car. Both entered and sat in their respective seats and drove off. They sat in comfortable silence for some time until Elliot decided to break it "You wanna have dinner with me and the kids tonight?"



Olivia turned and looked at Elliot and suggested "Yeah, sure… Why don't you guys come to my place, we'll order pizza and watch a movie or something, since the kids don't have to go to school tomorrow and it's Thursday?"



"Sure! What time? It's 6:30 now," Elliot asked stopping at a red light and looking at his watch.



"7:30? It'll give me some time to clean up a bit, the mess you and I left last night," she replied with a small giggle as did Elliot.



Elliot pulled up in front of Olivia's apartment and turned to Liv "Oh yeah! Those memories were quite great!" He leaned in and place a passionate kiss on her soft kiss, and Olivia just nodded against his lips and deepened it.



They finally broke apart when the lack of oxygen became an issue, and rested her forehead against each other. "I don't want you to be moving anything heavy around the house or lifting anything, got it? At least till the kids and I get there to help you, and the tests get back."



Olivia nodded and took off her seatbelt and got out of the car. Elliot rolled down the window and said "I love you"



This made the detective blush and smile, no matter how many times he said it "I love you more, and don't tell the kids about Kathy."



He said ok and drove off. Olivia turned and started up the steps to her New York apartment, which from the inside you can barely tell that it is an apartment. Upon entering, she turned on the lights in her foyer, living room and kitchen. She ignored the bills that sat on her breakfast table, and the messages on her phone. Olivia felt a wave of nausea and quickly ran to her bathroom, she began to throw up the second she was at the toilet.



After five minutes of the routine of throwing up, breathing and throwing up again, she was positive she was done. After this Olivia felt rather icky and decided on taking a bubble bath. She ran to hot water in the tub and grabbed some candles and magazine, undressed and got inside, and closed her eyes as she listened softly to Chris Boti on the Jazz radio station.



Olivia wasn't sure how long she'd been there, but next thing she knew was that her cell phone was ringing VERY loudly in her ear. She cursed to herself lowly and picked up. "Benson" she said in her usual tone.



"Hey Liv! Dad wanted me to give you a call, to let you know we'd be there in five minutes." Maureen said.



"Crap!" Olivia muttered to herself and stood up in the tub.

"Is something wrong?" Maureen asked curiously.



"Umm… nothing, I'll see you in a few, ok?"



"Ok Liv, bye-bye!" Maureen replied.



Olivia hung up after saying bye as well. Ashe grabbed her towel and wrapped it around herself and quickly ran to her bedroom to change. Knowing Elliot, if he said he'd be there in five it really meant two. She grabbed a pair of NYPD sweat pants and a pink tank top and put them on over her Victoria's Secret undergarments. Olivia then ran to her dresser, applied some mascara and lip gloss, and dried her hair with a towel, just as Elliot rang the bell.



Olivia ran downstairs almost tripping over the last step and opened the door as Elliot put his key into the knob. "Hey! You smell good!" he smiled as he leaned in and kissed her.



Little Eli came out from behind Elliot, "Eww daddy!!! That's nasty!!!"



They all giggled as Elliot and the rest of the kids filed in. They all gave a hug to Olivia, but Eli was the one who gripped onto her leg hugging her very tightly! Olivia walked over to the couch with him still attached and sat down.



"Dad, can we play a game before we eat?" Kathleen and Lizzie asked looking at Olivia's library which had more games than books in it.



"Sure, go ahead, I'll get you guys some things to munch on and to drink, El, can you order?" Olivia asked as she retracted Eli from her leg and sat him on the couch. Elliot nodded and got on the phone to order the pizza.



Olivia walked into the kitchen and opened one of the cabinets where the bowls were. Taking four out she heard an incredibly bouncy little 4½ year old voice say "Auntie Liv! Can I have some juice please!?!"



"Sure buddy!" Liv picked him up and grabbed his Sippy cup that was in the dish washer.



After pouring some juice into it she sat on a chair and gave it to him. He began to drink it and then took it out of his mouth. "Auntie Livy?"



"Yes Eli?"



"Can I call you mommy?" he asked innocently.



Olivia was a bit taken aback by the question. Kathy had left when he was only 6 months old, so he never really knew who she was. Olivia had stepped in and practically helped Elliot raise Eli. She was there for every doctor's appointment, every fever, shot, scrape on the knee, the chicken pox, and nightmare, for those four years Olivia had been his "mother" and she was more than happy to do it because he was such a sweet child. Now he asks her if he can call her mommy, and she was stunned, and clearly shocked.



"Of course you can sweetheart," Olivia replied teary eyed.

Eli sat his cup on the table and turned and out his skinny little arms around Liv's neck and whispered "I love you mommy."



She was breathless and just stunned and feeling an emotion that was unexplainable "I love you too honey." As she hugged his tiny little body and kissed his temple.

Chapter 3 Part 2

She was breathless and just stunned and feeling an emotion that was unexplainable "I love you too honey." As she hugged his tiny little body and kissed his temple.



Eli then slid off of Olivia's lap and ran into the living room. Olivia stood up and continued to fix the snacks for Elliot's kids. About two seconds after Eli had ran into the living room she heard him say "Daddy! Guess what!"



"What?" Elliot asked turning away from the football game.



"Mommy said I could call her mommy!" Elliot looked at him clearly puzzled…That didn't make any sense!



Olivia then walked into the room with cups a pitcher of iced tea and a bowl of popcorn. Dickie stood up from his place at the coffee table where he and his sisters were playing UNO and helped Liv put the things down.



"Thanks Dickie," she said as she sat down next to Elliot, who looked at her wanting to say or do something so badly but had to contain himself because of the kids "Take it easy, Stabler!" she laughed.



He laughed also, and Eli joined in as if he knew what was going on or what was meant. "See daddy! She let me call her mommy! Ha-ha!!!"
"Yeah that's great; go bother your brother and sisters." Elliot replied. Once he saw that Eli was gone he turned to Olivia who was lying in his chest and said "So, he calls you mom now?"



"Yes, I hope you have no problem with that El," she whispered tiredly.



"Actually no I don't, I'd have a problem if he called Kathy mommy, though." Elliot told her sincerely, but while he did, the house phone rang and Olivia groaned. If anyone couldn't reach her at her cell, they could always try at home, great!



Elliot handed her the cordless phone and she stepped into the kitchen to pick it up, when she did she was greeted by a "Hello? May I speak to Ms. Olivia Benson please? It's Dr. Lauryn Hills speaking," she said kindly and politely.

"Hello Dr., its Olivia speaking what's the news?" Olivia replied a bit worried on what the answer would be; she began to worry even more, when the doctor hesitated to speak.



"Well, Olivia, I've got good news!" she responded



After a few seconds, the doctor explained everything to her, and Olivia looked as

pale as a ghost. Once she regained her ability to speak she exclaimed "WHAT?!"



"Yep!" the doctor replied happily and continued saying "But I'd like to schedule you in for an appointment some time early next week?"



"Yeah… B-but how did this happen?" Olivia inquired after letting it sink in a bit.



"I'm sorry, what? I thought you knew very well how stuff like these happened?" the doctor retorted a bit lost that Olivia didn't quite understand this whole very simple concept.



"No, I know how this happened. Just talking to myself, Thank you for letting me know. Have a great night. Bye-bye," She said quickly trying to make the lump that had now formed in her throat go away.



"Ok, you too Olivia. Bye!" Lauryn then hung up as did Olivia.



Maureen then entered to let Olivia know that the pizza had arrived, but she noted that Olivia was really pale and she took that into account and inquired "What's wrong?"

Olivia jumped and gasped "Oh god!! Maureen! I didn't even hear you come in!"



"Oh, sorry to scare you… so, tell me what's wrong?" she asked again, this time Elliot had entered the room as well.



Olivia stuttered trying to get the words out "I- I'm--"

Ok, so I completely skipped school today, because stupid pollen level was WAY too high for me to handle...So, I worked on this almost all morning...I blame writer's block..Grr!!! But ElandLiv03, helped me out with that....THANKS! Anyhoos! Thank you to those who commented, it made me VERY happy! Chapter 3 Part 3


Maureen turned around and looked at her father, "Dad! Out!!! This is girl talk!! And you're not a girl, so out! You'll find out sooner or later!" she shoved him out the kitchen's swinging French doors, even though he was protesting.



Maureen walked back in and smiled at Olivia and said "Tell me, what's going on?"



Olivia just blurred everything out "I'm pregnant!" Then let out a breath she hadn't noticed she was holding in.



"OH MY GOD!!! LIV!!!!!!! CONGRATULATIONS!!!!! THIS IS SOO GREAT!!!!!!" Maureen exclaimed gleefully jumping up and down and then pulling Olivia into a tight hug.



Olivia laughed hysterically, and then Maureen joined as well! They giggled for a few minutes and then Olivia thought out loud, "What do you think your father will say?"



"Oh, dad will be shocked at first, then he'll most likely be all smiles and very glad! Why are you afraid to tell him?"



"No, I'm not..." Olivia lied but Maureen caught on to it, and said "He'll be happy trust me, I think I know my father, after 17 ½ years" she laughed again.



"You're right Maureen, can you tell your father to come in here? I want to tell him now."



"Ok!" she said and went to get Elliot.



"Hey El," she said as she wrapped her arms around his neck, and turned on the radio that she had in her kitchen and began to sway with him to the beat of the music of a slow song. "There's something I gotta tell you…" she said while Elliot dipped her.



"Oh yeah? And what's that?" he asked curiously and they continued to sway.

"Elliot, how would you feel if I told you that I wanted to have a child with you?" she asked as if it were just a hypothetical question.



"I'd say, 'When should we start trying?'" he said smiling and loving seeing her give him a full-blown smile as well.



"Elliot, I'm pregnant!" Olivia said and laughed at Elliot's face of complete shock.



"I love you Olivia!" He said and picked her up and spun her around and placed a gentle and passionate kiss on her lips.



"I love you too, Elliot!" she said kissing him, he put his hand over her flat stomach and smiled against his lips.



They waited until Alicia Keys' Diary song was over, and then headed back into the living room, where the kids were already eating. Well, most of them except little Eli who was just playing with his pizza. This made them all laugh.



Elliot and Olivia sat around the coffee table as well, Elliot picked up a slice and gave it to Olivia but she shook her head no and said that she was afraid she would rejected like she did with everything else.



They spoke about school, and future detectives and doctors, and teachers, and laughed at a few jokes Dickie told. Once they were done the kids picked up the mess and cleared the table. After, they sat down some on the rug, Maureen and Kathleen in the arm chair, and Eli on Olivia's lap, to watch a TV movie before they went home.



During the movie, a commercial came one. One of those 'A Baby Changes Everything' commercial, and the kids start to whisper amongst themselves, how it'd be if Olivia were to have a baby. By now, Olivia and Elliot felt it was the perfect time to tell them. "Hey Guys? Liv and I got something to tell you." Elliot told the kids quickly getting all their attention.



Once they were all looking at them, Olivia took hold of Elliot hand and said to them "How would you guys feel if you are to have a little brother or sister?"



They all began to talk at once, including Eli who was singing 'Row, Row, Row, Your Boat'. Olivia then said smoothly and quietly said to them "I'm pregnant."



"Oh my god!" Kathleen, Lizzie, Dickie and Eli said.



But then Eli noticed he had no clue was that was and said as the others continued to have their conversation. "Wait, what?... What does pre-goo-nana—t, mean?"



Everyone laughed and Olivia said "It means that I'm having a baby, in here," pointing to her stomach.



"But how did it get there? I thought the UPS people were supposed to bring it?"



"Eli, buddy, why don't you ask that question in a good ten years?" Elliot replied smiling; Eli just shrugged and rubbed his eyes tiredly, and yawned.



"I think it's someone's bed time," Olivia said picking Eli up by the waist.

He giggled as Olivia held him upside down and said "No! It's only, a one, a zero, a zero, and a three!!"
Olivia shook her head and took him to the room that he and Dickie shared at her house. She put him into his pjs and tucked him in, read him a story, and gave him a kiss good night.

Chapter 4 Part 1

Ok, so just so you know, John Coleman is Melinda’s ex fiancé; she broke up with him after she told him she was pregnant with Tara because he beat her the moment he found out. John wanted Joint custody of Tara, and he got it, he sees her Thursdays- Sundays. He didn’t begin to hit Melinda again till he found out that she was dating Fin… which was 5 months ago… and Fin obviously doesn’t know that this is going on, yet at least… ok, so you guys should be all caught up by now… on with the story:


John Coleman grabbed M.E. Melinda Warner with fury and slammed her up against the wall, his fists then came into contact with Melinda’s face. Soon after, he began to use her stomach as his personal punching bag, she was able to kind of regain some of her consciousness, and moved out of the way, only to have him straighten her up again and continued to hit her. She screamed loudly hoping that someone would hear her and save her from this horror.



“No one’s going to hear you, remember? Sound proof walls!” He whispered to her face just inches away from her.



Then he grabbed her by her forearms and threw Melinda onto the ground, he kicked her a few times and he was done. John carelessly walked out of her house. Leaving her there, beaten and a bit bloody. John walked to his car and entered his car, where his twelve year old daughter Tara, sat reading a book.



“Daddy? What took you so long?!” Tara said without looking up from her book when she saw her dad enter the car.



John smirked “Sorry babe, I was speaking to your mother about something important. Let’s go.”



Tara shrugged and buckled her seat belt.

Melinda heard the front door slam, and slowly tried to pick herself up. She groaned at the movement of her aching and sore body, but was able to pull herself to the wall pulling her legs up to her chest and crying. How could she be so vulnerable! She wiped her tears and tried to get up.



Her motions were measured and slow. Making her way to the bathroom, she turned on the hot water pouring some salt into it to help with the bruising, she got into the tub. She know what had just happened she had just lost all dignity she had, to a man, whom resembled what she saw at work day in and day out…



She sat there, thinking, and crying, if she said anything to anybody, she knew they wouldn’t believe her, and not only that, but he’d threatened to kill her if she did. Just then, the phone rang. She brought it in with her, before.



She picked up and weakly said “Hello?”
