Chapter 7: Part 2

Olivia speed walked out of Wal-Mart trying very hard to keep her emotions under control. Eli wrapped his arms around his REAL mommy's neck and laid his head on her shoulder facing in. She reached her car, and opened the backseat. After helping Eli into his car seat, she got into the car herself. Before anything, she turned around and noticed Eli had fallen asleep. It was expected; it was way past the 4 year old's nap time.

She turned back around, and laid her head against the steering wheel. Olivia let some tears run down her cheeks. She couldn't believe that, that had just happened! She put her hand over her belly; she felt some movement in there. Not that the kicking had started yet, that wouldn't start till wee later, but the constant flutter let he know that there was two little someone's that loved her, and depended on her!

The tears continued to run, but she shook her head thinking it was a stupid reason to be crying about. She turned on the engine, and began to drive out of the parking lot. When she finally did get home, she felt exhausted for some reason, and with shortage of breath, but waved the feeling off as she took sleeping Eli out from the back seat of her 2009 Nissan Armada. She closed the door with her foot, and began up the stairs into her building. She and Elliot seriously needed to go house hunting for a place all eight, possibly nine of them could be comfortable in.

She went into the elevator, and became flustered when she couldn't push the button to her floor. A much older man, probably in his late 60's or 70's, then entered to elevator, and after seeing her struggle said "Hello Miss. Benson, what floor are you going to?"

Olivia smiled, grateful that someone had come to help her. She replied "Hi Frank, the fifth please."

He pressed the button two, and fifth, and they quietly rode up to his floor. "Goodbye Detective."

Olivia smiled, and waved lowly, without letting go of Eli, and the doors closed. She let go a breath she hadn't even noticed to be holding in. When she finally reached her floor she stepped out of the elevator rather quickly. That had felt like the longest elevator ride of her life. She knocked on her door, knowing that Elliot or Lizzie would be inside. But, much to her surprise Kathleen opened the door.

Olivia stared a bit shocked, and Kathleen just moved over, and grabbed Eli from Olivia. "Hey Liv!"

Olivia snapped out of it and replied "Kathleen! What are you doing home? You should be at school! Didn't you have a very important test today which would determine what college you went to?!"

Kathleen waved her off and continued into the house. "Kathleen, you can't just wave this off. You know how important this is!" Olivia protested as she set her purse down on the coffee table, and Eli's 'Go! Diego! Go!' backpack next to him on the couch where Kathleen had set him.

Kathleen grabbed Olivia's forearm as a gesture to calm her. "Are you okay Liv?" Kathleen asked concerned. "And relax; the exam was post-poned to next week!"

Olivia sighed. "Oh, ok… Yeah I'm fine."

Kathleen let go, and the both of them walked into the wide kitchen; they both grabbed a bottle of water, and sat at the kitchen island. "So, I thought you were shopping for groceries…?"

"I… uhh… I had a little encounter with someone…" Olivia staggered, feeling the need to tell someone about what happened.

Kathleen looked at Olivia confused.

Hmm...It seems it's been a long time since someone updated this. Hehe. I've missed this story (I hate not having the internet!) and I want to know what El and the kids are gonna say about what happened with Liv and Kathy. Oh, and have I mentioned that your version of Eli is so (ten o's) adorable?!
