I wanted to let you know that that definitely WAS NOT the end to that story and that there is still plenty more suspense and drama up ahead for this one. Today is almost over and still no update tisk tisk tisk!

Hey, soo sorry for the delay, but it’s not even funny how busy I’ve been!! LOL! Well, anyway, enough of my ramblings, here's a part of chapter 6... ENJOY!!

Chapter 6 Part 1
Two days later



Olivia had been released from the hospital the afternoon after she had been admitted. None of the girls or the squad knew about the baby, and Elliot felt that it was time to tell to avoid having to put Olivia in another situation where her life could be threaten. Cragen had demanded Olivia to take at least 3 days off from work, and Olivia was glad that she had already killed 48 hours.



It was lunch time, and Olivia was positive that the squad was at the office. She came in smiling, she and Elliot were going to tell them today, and after she told Cragen, Munch, Fin, and Lake, she was going to go grab a bite with Melinda, Casey and Alex and tell them. Walking over to Elliot’s desk she leaned in and gave him a quick kiss. Everyone else watched saying “Ooooooooh!!!!”



Elliot smiled against her lips, and they broke apart. Olivia said “Why hello to you too.”



He laughed and asked “You ready for this?”



She nodded and hand in hand, they both began to walk toward Cragen’s office. Elliot knocked on the door and waited for to be let in. They heard a muffled ‘Come in’ come from inside, and he opened the door letting Olivia walk in first. Cragen smiled “Hey Olivia, how are you?”



She smiled, he was so chirpy occasionally! “I’m doing better, actually, there’s something Elliot and I have to talk to you about.”



Cragen suddenly became serious. “What about? Is everything ok between you two?”



Elliot nodded and put his right arm around Olivia and grinned “Everything is actually going perfect,” and with his left arm he rubbed Olivia’s belly.



Cragen went as pale as a ghost “What?!”



Olivia chuckled “Yep and there’s more… They’re twins!”



The captain came out from behind his desk and pulled Olivia out of Elliot’s arms and into his, as he embraced her into a tight fatherly hug. “Congratulations Liv!”



He did the same with Elliot saying “You’re going to be a father again… congratulations.”



Cragen went back to his seat, and Olivia and Elliot sat down. Cragen then asked “How far along are you?”



“Three months,” she answered with the biggest smile she could muster.



“Why didn’t you tell me before?! You could’ve gotten hurt out on the job like you almost did two days ago! I’m putting you on desk duty until you go on maternity leave, and that’s not a suggestion, it’s a command!” Cragen said quickly switching over to boss mode.



“Yes captain,” they both answered.



Cragen looked at them puzzled that they had both answered, but said nothing. Olivia and Elliot both stood up and as they walked out of his office, he called “Elliot, I would like to speak to you.”

Elliot turned back and Olivia just continued to walk to the squad room and sat down in Elliot’s desk.



Elliot walked back into Cragen’s office and closed the door behind him. Cragen came up to him, and stood in front of him, face to face. He then said in a low voice with a face that looked none too friendly. “Olivia’s like... wait is my daughter. And you make her very happy, and I’m not going to doubt that you always well. But, if you hurt her… The consequences will not be pretty, now is that clear?”



Elliot nodded “Yes Cap’n”

Part 2
Later that same day:

Olivia strode out of the squad room after telling her fellow collegues/ best friends/brothers about her and Elliot's babIES!! Their response was rather something she hadn't expect a bit. Hugs and 'Congrats!' echoed around in the fairly empty squad room. much staing that the first thing that excited him the most about this was that he'd finally have nieces and nephews and that finaly someone would listen to his conspiracies without shouting 'Shut up Munch/John!!'

Fin said that he couldn't wait to teach them how to rap, and about street smarts and whatnot. Olivia was estatic that she had gotten so many positive responses from everyone, now she just hoped that her best friends/sister would say the same. "Oh, hello Olivia. How are you today?"

Olivia snapped out of her nice reverie and smiled looking at Doctor Haung in front of her. "Oh, hey! Sorry, a bit dazed. I'm doing great and you?"

"That's very nice to here Olivia, I'm doing good. What's new?"

"These little ones in here," Olivia replied beaming happily as she pointed at her belly.

Haung smiled widely, rubbing her forearm "That's great Olivia!! I'm very happy for you, and I can't wait to meet them. Well, I better get going. Good Luck Olivia, take care! And keep me posted!" he yelled as he began to walk into the squad room.

"I will!! Thanks, you too!" Olivia yelled as she stepped into the elevator.

Quickly, she ran down the precinct outside stairs after noticing that Casey, Alex and Melinda were waiting for her there. "Hey!" She greeted them each with a quick hug.

"Hi Liv!" they all said as they began to wallk down the street to their choice of restaurant.

After being seated and deciding upon what they were planning on eating, they began to talk. Olivia thought it would be now the best time to tell them. Melinda was sitting in front of her, Casey next to her, and Alex was next to Melinda. She then said "Guys, I gotta tell you something..."

They all stopped speaking and turned to her, Alex asking "What's wrong Liv? Is Everything ok?"

Olivia then said "I'm pregnant... with twins!"

Casey and Alex both said in unison out of shock "What?!!?"

Melinda chuckled looking at Olivia "For some reason it doesn't surprise me! I've been expecting that bombshell!" She leaned over the table and gave Olivia a quick hug whishpering in her ear "Congrats girl! Find me when you need me!"

Casey and Alex followed in suit and after they were done, Olivia had tears welling up in her eyes and she said through them "Aww! Thanks guys!"

After all the tears had been dried and the food had finally come, there was a comfortable silence at the table, looking at Melinda, Olivia asked "Hey Mel, what happened to your right cheek?"

Melinda put her fingers on the bash, tracing the skin around it, she said...

Part 3

"...Oh, that... it's..uhh... it's nothing..." Melinda said shrugging it off.

Olivia rolled her eyes, "If it were nothing you wouldn't know what bruise I was talking about. Also, it looks a bit too serious to be "just nothing". C'mon Mel! I interrogate lying perps for a living! Tell me what happened."

Alex decided that maybe she nor Casey should say anything. Melinda was beginning to get frustrated "Olivia, it was nothing I mean it. I probably just added too much blush on that part of my cheekbone or something."

Olivia raised and eyebrow and shook her head not believing that bizarre story, knowing that something was going on. But she dropped it for now, figuring that right now just wouldn't be the right time to persuade Melinda to tell her now. Casey took this opportunity, since there was an uncomfortable silence now, to bring up a more CHEERFUL topic. "Hey Liv, you never told us how far along you were?"

Melinda stood up from her chair and grabbed her purse, throwing her napkin on the table saying "I can't do this anymore." And with that she walked out of the restaurant, leaving two very baffled ADAs and a pregnant, bewildered detective.

Melinda ran out of the restaurant and once she got outside she quickly halted a taxi. Once inside, after giving her address, she called the morgue to have someone cover for her. And intern she'd been training picked up.

"Yes?" asked Amanda.

"Hey Mandy. I.. uhh... I can't come in because... I have to pick Tarah up from school early... So can you cover for me?" Melinda lied.

"Sure thing Dr. Warner. I hope everything's ok. Bye" Amanda said softly.

"Thank you. Byebye!" Melinda then hung up the phone and noticed she had arrived at her house.

She paid and entered her house. She locked her front door using all of the bolts. The tears began to come down slowly at first. But then, anger set in. Melinda grabbed a vase that was next to her on a small table next to her door and just threw it on the ground and watched it shatter into a million little pieces. Now sobs began to run through her body, making her tremble as she slowly slid dow her door crying. "God, I really need to do something about this... But I can't.. I can't do that to Tarah... "

Chapter 6 Part 4

Just then, Melinda heard her back door open, then being slammed shut. She instantly knew who it was, and stood up, drying her tears in the process. John Coleman walked into her foyer, searching for her, knowing that she wasn't working because he had called to check before. When he found her, back against her front door, she noticed the sinister smile that he had plastered on his face.

'I wish I could just slap that smug smile away!' Melinda thought. She tried to look a bit stronger, than how she actually felt, but she seemed to fail miserbly! He went over to her, not caring one bit, and showing no mercy, John, using the back of his palm smacked her across the face so hard that she went flying to the floor.

She cried loudly, and tried to regain her balance, as she tried to stand. He was not going to take her down so easily this time around. John went to grab a chunk of her curly black hair, but then released it, and using his callous, large hand, he tok her face in them saying "You know, you've been a good girl lately, and you haven't told anyone yet... You know what that means?" He laughed evilly and looked into Melinda, large chocolate brown eyes.

They were full of fear, distress and most of all reluctance, and regret. Regret that she ever even, so much as CONSIDERED picking a pig such as him as her love! But that love by now, was so long gone, and buried, that not even it a comet hit one of Earths fields would it be able to reach it! It like that love just fell through and into outer space, just floating around in the universe somewhere. She guess that's why they called it falling in love.

John yanked on her wrist and began to pull her into her bedroom, as she tried to pull away, and maybe the nightmare that was about to be, she could maybe runaway from it. But no. John briskly threw her on to the bed effortlessly anf got on top of her. Melinda tried hard to keep the vomit that was arrising far.

After twenty minutes it was all finally over and John ordered her to go into the bathroom and shower, and she aggreed to that idea without even thinking tice nor protesting. She went into her bathroom, knowing he would be long gone by the time she came back out. She entered and locked the door behind her, and tear ran down her face a bit more profusely than before. Melinda Warner had just been raped by her ex-fiancé, fatyher of her daughter. "That's it. I'm done." She said out loud.

Melinda went into the cabinet under one of her sinks and brought out a black duffle bag,she took out a tube and a cotton swab. She then did a raped kit on herself. She was going to nail this bastard if it were the last thing she did for her and Tarah.

Eli thought about it for a few moments then replied "Nope, mommy, I wanna walk and help you get the stuffs."

Olivia smiled "Ok."

She knew she was so blessed to have a child like Eli as her "son". Because he wasn't a brat, he didn't have porblems playing with other children, nor did he ever throw tantrums, and to top it all off he was the most obedient 4 year-old you'll ever meet. She was brought out of her train of thought by a tug at her left arm. "Mommy, what's firsts on our lists?"

"Oh, umm...we gotta go and get the cookies and cereal," Olivia replied, looking at the small peice of paper in her hand.

"Ok, I gets the cookies you gets the cereals..." Eli said.

Chapter 7 Part 1



Eli walked into the cereal/chips aisle and grabbed three bags of cheese doodles and then two boxes of Lucky Charms. As he held all this in his small arms, his face mistakenly became covered by everything. Right when he was about to exit the aisle, he accidently bumped into a tall figure, cause little Eli to drop the two boxes of cereal. “I sowwy mith (miss). I wasn’t seeing where,” Eli said, the sound of his lisp becoming more and more evident.



The blonde woman smiled “That’s alright Eli.”



He looked up at the woman curiously, obviously not recognizing her, his brows frowned, as did he “How you know my name?”



She laughed at his innocence. She replied calmly and crouched down to his level “I’m your mommy.”



Eli look at the woman as if she had grown another head before his very eyes “Nuh uh! Livy my mommy! You just cuwaythee (crazy) lady!” He exclaimed mad.



Kathy looked at him madly, thinking just what Elliot had done to pollute her son’s small mind. “No, Olivia is not your mommy! I am!”



Eli became equally as angry, you could tell that he really had his father’s temper. He grabbed one of the bags of chips and threw it at Kathy’s face after dropping anything on the ground. Eli ran after that and into the next aisle where he knew is REAL mommy was. He ran up to Olivia and wrapped his small arms around Olivia’s thighs, crying, and sniffling. Olivia looked down at him and put down the pack of Oreos and crouched down to just as far as her belly would agree to go. “Hey sweetie, what’s wrong? Did you get hurt?”



Eli shook his head as tears ran downed his rouge skin. Kathy ran into the next aisle trying to catch Eli. But what she saw infuriated to core. “WHAT ARE YOU DOING HUGGING MY SON!?!?”



There were about four other people in that same aisle, and they stopped what they were doing and looked at what laid in front of them. Olivia looked up and saw a red Kathy looking at her. She told Eli to stay there, that she would handle it. “Kathy, let’s not do this again; not here anyway.”



“NOT DO THIS!? YOU STOLE MY SON!” Kathy screamed. Everyone in the background gasped astonished.



“The son you gave up at six months old! Kathy! Stop this! You’re harming him more than anyone else! You had joint custody with Elliot, but you gave it all up, because apparently your boyfriend was a lot more important! But you know what, you let go of probably one of the best things you could have ever had.” Olivia yelled, she then moved closer to Kathy’s face.

She continued in a low, chilling voice “So what happen Kathy? Did he finally get tired of you, and broke it off? So now you crawl back to your ‘family’ hoping they’d accept you! I don’t think so! You’ve hurt them too much already.”



Kathy was red she quickly brought up her hand and slapped Olivia across the face “Go to hell, slut!”



Olivia couldn’t believe she had just done that. So she repeated the action only slapping Kathy A LOT harder. “You first bitch!”



Olivia then turned and picked Eli up. She then walked out of the aisle; nobody messes with her family.



Everyone had their jaws on the ground. Clearly very surprised at what they had just seen.

Olivia speedwalked out of Walmart trying very hard to keep her emotions under control. Eli wrapped his arms around his REAL mommy's neck and laid his head on her shoulder facing in. She reached her car, and opened the backseat. After helping Eli into his car seat, she got into the car herself. Before anythng, she turned around and noticed Eli had fallen asleep. It was expected; it was way past the 4 year old's nap time.

My time is up, I'll have to continue the preview, when I get home... Sorry!
