In a history-making Fatal Four Way Elimination battle at Backlash, The Game defeated a trio of past and present WWE Champions – JBL, John Cena and, ultimately, Randy Orton – to claim his 12th World Title.

Ending the “Age of Orton’s” near seven-month reign, Triple H not only secured his spot at the top of sports-entertainment, the King of Kings reseated himself upon the illustrious WWE Championship throne – notwithstanding any argument from William Regal or any other Raw competitor. And, he did it by outlasting three veritably iconic WWE Superstars.

Wow. I thought Orton was going to win because of the Y2J thing. Guess not.

That was surprising.But i dont see HHH being WWE Champion for a long time.Those days are over.I saw on some forums last night,people Very upset,saying WWE has turned the clock back 6 years.Some even went to say that now for the next few years every guy will be buried by HHH for even trying to succed in WWE.

I see Orton winning the belt back tonight or at Judgment Day.Plus i heard HHH will be taking some time off because steph having the baby.But i do see Cena winning the belt by SummerSlam,mark my words.Cena will close out the year as WWE Champion.

I agree on HHH. It won't last, Orton will get the title back. I think 2008 closes out with either CM Punk or William Regal as champ.

I completely forgot about CM Punk and William Regal.Maybe they want be putting the belt on Cena for awhile then.It will be interesting but i think maybe Punk will cash in the brief case before the draft in june.Because right he can be on all 3 brands,but for the draft i heard he might get sent to Raw.So it would make sense to have him cash in soon,then he will be on Raw instead of waiting till after the draft and still be on all 3 shows.

The WWE is angleling to give Regal a HUGE push. Despite being a long time veteran, it'd probably be the biggest push of Regal's career.


But the way they're setting him up right now, Regal is gonna be a tyrannical, LONG time, champ down the line.




And I think it's great.
