i wanted to see what people's favorite episodes are! i no i have many favorites! one that is at the top of my list is mr.monk takes his medicine i love that one i think it's so funny!i have many more (to many too name so i'll just stick with that one) so just tell me what your favorite monk is thanks!

Oh man, I have soooo many favorites. Where to begin....

Season 1: Mr. Monk and the Red-Headed Stranger (hey, I play the clarinet, too!)
Season 2: Mr. Monk and the Sleeping Suspect (one of the cleverest ways to kill someone) and Mr. Monk and the Paperboy (love it when Tony sings!!)
Season 3: Mr. Monk Takes His Medicine (the funniest episode ever), Mr. Monk and the Kid (the saddes episode ever), Mr. Monk Gets Cabin Fever
Season 4: Mr. Monk Gets Drunk (THE best summation!!!!), Mr. Monk Stays in Bed
Season 5: Mr. Monk and the Actor (Stanley Tucci's the man in this!), Mr. Monk Can't See a Thing, Mr. Monk Goes to the Hospital (Bulldog from Frasier!)
Season 6: Mr. Monk and His Biggest Fan, Mr. Monk and the Naked Man (one of the funniest episodes), Mr. Monk is Up All Night (very, very clever), Mr. Monk Paints His Masterpiece (I'm an art student, what can I say?), Mr. Monk is On the Run (both parts, but especially part I).

Whew! Just goes to show what an awesome show this is!!! I could probably name every episode except maybe four or five.

I was actually hoping for a thread like this!

Okay, I'm in the process of making a list but right now these are my top five favorites of all time...

1 Goes Home Again-This is the first Monk that made me cry! Seeing Ambrose, Adrian and Natalie in the ambulance crying, because Ambrose thinks he's going to die any minute was so sad! And prior to that, when Adrian realizes that Ambrose ate the "tainted" candy bar! This one also had several hilarious moments; my favorite being Randy's suggestion that they write "Not Keifer Sutherland" on the bottom of the suspect's picture! Oh, and the "Frankenstein's Monster" comment!

2-The Three Pies-OMG, I absolutely LOVE this epsiode! Such sweet scenes between Adrian and Ambrose. Especially when Adrian begs Ambrose to tell him why he never contacted him after Trudy died. OMG, that was just heartbreaking, watching Ambrose break down with guilt because he asked Trudy to go get him some cough syrup. I loved it when Adrian was comforting him. That's definitely something you don't see every day!

3- Mrs. Monk-This is definitely one of my most favorite Dr. Kroger episodes. When this episode first aired, I wasn't as huge of a Monk fan as I am now. When they were suggesting that Trudy might be alive, I was seriously on the edge of my seat the whole time. In the middle of the show, my husband and I left to go eat at a restaurant and I swear the whole time I was just so restless, because I wanted to see how the show ended! I thought it was an extremely emotional episode. I wish I would have told Stanley that I loved him in "Mrs. Monk" He was wonderful. I loved how he was so gentle and caring with Adrian. My only suggestion to "enhance" it would have been to have more scenes with Dr. Kroger. I know they only have so much time, but I wish there would have been a follow-up (hmmm... that gives me an idea... )

4. Visits A Farm-I love this one! I love that Randy is front and center through most of the episode. I love Brooke Adams as well. That was hilarious when the Sheriff hit Adrian on the butt. I'm sure she was the only one allowed to do that. OMG, his face was priceless! I think my favorite moment, though was when Randy was asleep, and Monk came in and whispered "Here's what Happened" so that Randy would think he had solved the crime (which gave him his self-confidence back). So sweet! Also I loved "A bus to a farm, a bus.... to a farm..."

5. Sleeping Suspect-contains probably the funniest scene ever. Adrian spills the plant and gets dirt all over the floor. He goes to the closet and pulls out the vacuum cleaner and unplugs something to plug in the vacuum. I about DIED when what he unplugged turned out to be the "coma guy's" life support! I was laughing so hard, I was crying, and afterwards I couldn't even describe it to anyone without throwing myself into hysterical fits of laughter! That was classic!

There are so many but, I really like the Candidate, the pilot. This is when I got hooked on Monk.

i also like mr.monk and the really really dead guy i think that one is sooooo funny!

I think it would be hard for me to choose favorite(s) episode(s), but I can opt for my least favorite one.

That would be 'The Rapper'.

Wow!! It is such a great show, which makes it hard to pick just one. If I had to choose one "Monk" that is my favorite it would be Mr. Monk and the Naked Man. I thought that episode was hilarious all the way through. By the time it ended I was laughing so hard I was in tears, I couldn't believe that Adrian refused a wipe to walk right in the ocean!

It is hard to pick a favorite but one of mine is Monk and The Really Really Dead Guy. I didnt realize until I just saw it recently that this is the episode where Leland live with Adrian for awhile. I just love the chemistry between the two of them and it had me laughing the whole time.


Monk: Can I have your gun?
Leland: No, not unless you plan on using it on yourself.

Leland: Dont soil your pants,if you do your on your own.

Anyway I just love all Monk episodes but if I had to pick one, I would say "Mr. Monk and the kid" from season 3, it just was a really moving episode.

I'm a relatively new convert to the world of Monk, I haven't seen the series from the beginning. The episodes are shown sparodicly on BBC2 in Britain at the mo.

My favourite episode so far is Mr Monk takes his medicine and we're introduced to "The Monk!" Inspired.

1. Mr Monk gets a new shrink- Probaly the funniest for me.
2. Mr monk and the kid- Probaly one of the sadder ones.
3. Mr monk and the cobra- Excellent trudy episode.
4. Mr Monk and the red herring- Natalie's first apperance
5. Mr Monk goes to jail- Finally get a small lead in the trudy case.
6. Mr Monk goes to manhatten- Get another clue.
7. Mr Monk is on the run I and II- Very interesting episode showing how much monk has developed as he has to live alone.
8. Mr monk and I believe cabin fever- Mr Monk has to go to a cabin for witness protection. Has a nice leland part where he tells monk he is very dissastified in the way his career has been going.
9. Mr monk and the game show- Good episode where we meet trudy's parents and we get to learn more about earlier monk. The scene at the dinner table where monk flashback was priceless. I love when monk is thinking that he said I would take care of her..then he apolgizes to trudy's dad. I wish the other guy wouldn't have interrupted becuase that would have been such a great moment.
10. Mr monk takes his medicine- Got a nice mix of trudy and him adjusting to the new medicine.

no particular order and I go could on all day. I mean I didn't even bring up the monk/ambrose episode. Didn't get to mr monk and the daredevil when mr monk is on suicide alert or even mr monk joins the cult. Not to mention mr monk meets his dad.
