I put spoiler in the title just in case someone has never seen the movie. Anyways. I have always looked at the series as the inbetween what was going on in what would have been a 1400 hour movie with Christopher Walken. With that being said, I think that the final ep will be Johnny doing what Walker did in the movie. Personnally that would be a good way to end the series. The villian gets killed and the hero dies to save the world.

Sad but true. In the end Johnny might not have other choice but to kill Stillson.

I think Johnny will have to make some sort of sacrifice in the end, but not in the way the character in the book or movie did it. The series has touched on the assassination route back in "Zion" and showed why Johnny never did it, so I don't think that's an option anymore. Plus, we're starting to find out that Stillson is involved with shady, powerful people like Janus, and stopping Stillson alone may not be enough to avert Armageddon in the end...

but we'll have to wait and see on that.
