I just saw the episode "Zoonotic" last night and it contains one of the best Bobby-protecting-Alex scenes ever!! It happens in the scene where Bobby and Alex go talk to the zoo vet and he strips down to his speedo inspired underwear. The guy keeps making suggestive comments to Alex and you can tell she just wants to hurl. Then suddenly Bobby walks over and stands between the guy and Alex, using his height and size as a barricade for her. Then an already great scene gets even better when the guy asks Bobby to grab his scrub top. Bobby moves away from Alex to grap it, then quickly moves back between the vet and Alex. But the part I love is when the vet is putting the top on, Bobby looks over his shoulder to Alex and rolls his eyes. I about died when I saw that. All of this yummy Bobby protective goodness, and two great, snarky lines by Alex ("Do you have so much in common with your animals?" & "I've seen my share of specimens") delivered masterfully by Kate makes for one AWESOME CI scene.

I was watching Tru Love the other night. Not one of my favourites, but it's the first Wheeler episode. The exchange with Logan in the first scene is great:

Wheeler: So you've gotten over the excitment of having a new partner?
Logan: (deadpan) This is me, excited.

Man, I'm going to miss him.

Holy crap, I watched "Blind Spot" last night (again) and I think this is probably one of my top 2 episodes. VDO was magnificent between Declan, Jo, Eames- - he was besides himself while trying to keep it all together.

Between spreading them on the pavement, raging at Declan, sitting in the hospital room with Eames, and - - my favorite - - knowing that it was Jo. OMG! When he was speaking to Jo you can see the heartbreak in his eye. The compassion OMG! I absolutely LOVE this epi. Martha was terrific, Kathryn was terrific, even Eric was terrific, but VDO is magnificent!

I, too, love the scene where he is talking to Jo. You can see that he doesn't want to believe that this woman who he had known for so long could be capable of a so deliberate act of violence, especially toward one whom Jo had to know was, at the very least, his partner. He is warring between compassion and hatred. Such an awesome acting job by VDO!!

I think Blind Spot is my all-time favorite aria. VDO was magnificent, as CI said. And I thought that Martha Plimpton was perfect as Jo. When she said, "That's when I decided to kill Eames and frame my father", she looks up at Bobby with this look of...I don't even know how to describe it....mischief? Like a teenager who decided to toilet paper a rival's house and was so proud of her plan.

Goren and Eames are interviewing the friends of the attorney that supposedly got shot at.
Eames is talking to the couple. Goren stands next to the guy (attorney's friend) and imitates all his moves. Guy crosses arms, Goren crosses his arms, guy waves a hand and touches his face, Goren waves a hand and touches his face and so on the entire time Eames is talking to them. Lol, Goren's totally mocking him or something.

OH MY GOD I was going to write about this exact same scene!! I love the little amused look that Eames gives Goren during the interview. Plus the fact that the guy has no idea. Great stuff.

My favorite moment is when Bobby gets slapped by a punk and then restrains him, but then says "OUCH!" I died laughing

This is killing me, which episode does Eames say "Ok, go do your little dance in hell now"? I cannot for the love of VDO remember and it is slowly eating at my brain...

I loved that scene too!

I've got a few favourite moments:
- Goren shares his theory about "small" men
- When Deakins says "The Goren Show is back in town"
- Logan gets "cursed" by the voodoo priestess
- when Goren and Eames are interviewing a grandmother at her work with her grandson, the boy pokes Goren's badge so he lets the boy hold his badge. I'm not sure what episode that was.

In "Ruby Red". After they arrest the guy for murder, Goren is still sitting in the Ferrari, gunning the engine. Eames starts to walk away, but Goren is having such a great time. Eames turns around, gets down to his level and says "You have to get out now."

That made me giggle. tongue.gif

I agree, it's always nice when they deal with kids because you see a different side of the detectives that you don't normally see given their line of work.

Hi,
you reminded me of so many great scenes and looks. Great job, love it.
My small favourite piece is, I guess itīs The 3rd Horseman, when Goren comes in a room in white T-shirt and green shirt, looking in some papers. Then he looks up to Eames and SMILES. I always sink into the seat, when I see that beautiful smile.

My new favorite...at least for now...the new episode. Ross and Goren, face to face...Ross has just made a comment about Goren's father...Goren gets right up to him...says NOTHING...and does that little thing with his eyebrows! OMG! THUD!! I loved that he got his point across, without saying one single word. Just hovered over Ross...Ross must have filled his pants, lol. Eames was great defending her partner. I loved that too. Well done Erbe. Ross ticked me off. Goren isn't a killer, he should trust him by now. He should never have put Rogers in the position he did either. Just because they are seeing each other is no reason to expect to sneak in and get information. Rogers had no right to tell anyone anything and should be ashamed for what she did say, even if she was trying to help.

-----
Eames looked like she was thinking to herself: "You'll see! I WILL prove you wrong!"
-----
Ooh! Another one! Eames got all happy when she remembered what Goren would say: something like -- I have a witness. My partner would tell you the best way to catch a serial killer?? (or something like that) I LOVE how her face just lit up when she said that!!!

One of my favorite scenes is the episode where the actor killed his fiance and tried to frame his ex-girlfriend. His friend, was in the interrogation room with Bobby. Bobby played an old audition tape of the guy auditioning for a movie with Matt Damon. To get into his head, each time Bobby would play it, he would laugh, rewind it and laugh again. The Laugh! Priceless scene!

Another favorite is the scene with Jo Gage. The range of emotions shown on his face in the final scene was priceless.

I love the look on his face when He is interviewing Mark Ford Brady and he realizes MFB is referring to his mother. He looked up with sadness in his eyes and said "Her name?"

I also love how Bobby seems to never quite get it when Eames is upset with him. In "The War at Home" they had just had a small confrontation at the elevator. When he returned, he just started talking to her like nothing happened.
He said, Maybe we should let him know he has nothing to worry about. She said, "You do that" and walked off.
The same after he was reinstated. He just walks up to the desk and starts talking to her like nothing happened.

I have TONS more, but I'll give others a chance!

The episode with the boy and the badge is "Pardoner's Tale". I love that epsisode because, as I have mentioned before, it is also the first appearance of Lewis.

"Frame" rocked for having many great scenes. I loved the scene where Bobby and Alex show up at the B&B and get told that the Honeymood Suite has been readied for them. It made my little shipper heart soar. biggrin.gif But I also loved how you could tell that Alex wanted no part of Ross trying to prove that Bobby was a killer. I throughly enjoyed how everytime Ross would bring up a piece of evidence, Alex would counter him with why it didn't prove Bobby's guilt.

I loved how Eames said: "Based on nothing" in Frame (in the scene with Ross and Simmons). I don't know why, I just loved that.

And I love to see Eames run. Because - and I'm sorry Katie - she runs sooooooooo like a girl! That makes me grin every time.

And I liked the elevator scene in Frame. Their connection seemed so strong.
bammi
One of my favorite moments was in "Dead" (season 2) when Bobby has Harry tearing up his garage all night looking for a tooth cap. And when Bobby, Alex and Carver arrive the next day, Bobby kicks an old tire out of the way, sits on the freezer and says, "How long do you think it will take us to find that cap, Harry?" Then after Harry is arrested, Carver says, something like "a very costly mistake," (losing the cap) and we learn that the vic never wore caps. That was beautiful.
Maude

There are just too many scenes - but I think Goren's facial expressions and the cycle of emotions he goes thru during an interrogation process are noteworthy -
In END GAME, the scenes with Roy Schieder (who passed away a few months later) were the very best! Such emotional restraint! I wanted him to take out that bastard! The guard looked the other way, if you recall.....

At this point I can almost tell who wrote which show, unless it's a new writer... biggrin.gif

Hopping on the bandwagon, here... but I definitely LOVED the scene in "Frame" when Goren and Ross have their stare-down, and Goren does the eyebrow thing. The last time I watched the epi. on VHS, I rewound it several times just to watch that scene. It makes me laugh every time. tongue.gif

When the camera shows Ross you can see that Bobby is already doing the thing with his eyebrows. Then the camera shows Bobby and he just stares and then raises his brows. They always shoot the same scenes from different angles but this really distracts me because I think: meeeeh, he's doing it twice and that ruins the moment for me.

My favorite moments include:

Any time Bobby dances
Any time he's dressed in civilian clothes
the show where he lures the suspect in by showing interest in her, even throwing Alex off, and he was at her apartment when Alex showed up to arrest her, and then he breaks the suspect's heart by telling her basically he was sorry he had led her to believe he was interested.
But mostly, my favorite is with the airport guy who goes around telling women he's a vice president, and Bobby and Alex approach the suspect and a woman, and Bobby tells her that he's a shipping magnate and Alex is a "queen. Yeah, the Queen of Sheba." The fact that he says it straight faced makes me laugh even more!

A quick question off topic to all you experts out there - does anyone know how to get a hold of Season 4? I have seasons 1-3 on DVD and seasons 5-7 on Amazon's Unbox, but I even wrote to NBC Universal about it, and they have yet to respond.

Thanks!

My favorite scene (one of them there are so many) is when Declan says he, like Bobby, has done everything for his daughter. Bobby questions that and tells him he had told him she was doing better than ever. Then Bobby says she's in a coma. He says it with a touch of humour. Declan is smiling. I laughed and laughed at that scene. Also when they're talking about things Presidents have said. Declan can't quite get it out what the President was saying and Bobby says in a very deadpan way "that was Bush". I saw that someone on this board used it as a tag line. Very funny. laugh.gif

One of my current favorites would have to any of the scenes where Bobby was doing magic for Alex and they both smiled. They both went through a lot this season and it was nice to see a little joy.

I am watching a re-run of "Poison" right now. One of my favorite moments was to see Green and Briscoe from Law & Order in this episode with Goren and Eames

I loved when Ross told that woman to go to hell, in betrayed.
