The only way KOTR could be salvaged at this point is William Regal pulling off an upset, and beating CM Punk. That would be a shocker.



But of course - Punk will win.



So why do this at all? What point was there in resurrecting KOTR to have Punk win it? He's already Mr. Money In The Bank.



It seems at this point it was just resurrecting to find a way to push a now mediocre Punk down our throats.

Funk YEAH! Regal won KOTR! Coolness.



This was a horrible lineup for a resurrection, but at least they salvaged it by letting Regal win, and not freakin' CM Punk. Maybe Regal will enter the title picture down the line. At least it would be something new for a change. Regal's always been a sorely underrated wrestler.

Im sooo Glad Punk did not win,i was hoping he is not the new Cena where they push him down our throat.

Regal is Underrated and deserves the WWE title atleast once.I hope that we get a new GM and Regal goes back to wrestling.And i really hope Regal gets a court.''KING REGALS COURT'' they could put in Paul Burchill and D.H. Smith since there not doing much.But now we get to hear.........

Hi there Bubba, I would have liked to see CM Punk win the King Of The Ring.

That wouldn't make ANY sense.


Why would a man, who's already won MONEY IN THE BANK, and has a GUARANTEED title shot AND title push.... win KOTR?


It'd be literally a waste of time.

Not to mention he's blah. This is great for Regal though, i would have liked to see Y2J vs. Regal though. Y2J needs a push bad.
