What a nightmare. I have been looking at google and couldn't find anything. I don't even know where it is. Geez. Had to ask hubby and get this, he doesn't even know exactly where it is. He just knows it is somewhere north and east of Champaign. You are right. I am the one bad with directions.

My first ever episode that I have participated in from spoiler to discussion. Judy and I were talking about this in the thread. Judy said this was her first too, I thought. Since I joined after 'Untethered' aired I haven't done this yet. I feel like a child with his first bicycle or something.

Illinois is full of warnings and watches. I turned on the weather channel and they showed Kankakee. Yay I saw it and know where it is. I now know wherabouts where you are.

That Kankakee cell MAY head north of us. The storms trail ALL the way into 2-3 states west of Illinois.

I'm just south of Fort Wayne, Indiana. About 2 hours north of Indianapolis.

OK, this is your first ep from spoilers, on, I get it.

That would explain why we are supposed to get storms for the next day or 2. Where is this mess coming from.

If I ask a lot of questions Sunday, don't be surprised. I am gonna be a lost puppy.

I dunno where it started but it's a l-o-n-g storm line.

I won't be online a lot during the actual EP, I don't think. I can't record it, and I don't wanna miss the actual ep cuz I'm typing. After the ep is over, I'll be online for an hour or so, and then I hafta work midnight to 1pm (FT job then PT job). I really don't wanna hafta wait til Monday afternoon and hope it's on amazon unbox, to watch it.

I really hope ya'll stay safe, weather-wise. It's so dry here in Louisiana right now. Too dry. I WISH we were the "source" of ya'll's bad weather, cuz that would mean it was rainy here and I wouldn't have to be spending all my money on this month's water bill!

I've the to VCR and the dvr set AND I plan on being glued to the TV. I'm NOT obsessed, I tell you. I'm NOT!! It's research - all in the name of research.



We've had record amounts of rainfall in my neck of PA this spring so far. I'd be happy to send some your way, FM.

We had storms on and off all night long, but not severe ones, that I heard.

I don't water the grass if it doesn't rain. If it's brown, I don't hafta cut it.

Twas nothing - I'm very observant that way.

I just don't want anyone thinking I'm a stalker - you know, obsessed or fanatical - when it comes to VDO and LOCI. I'm perfectly rational and calm - research is just very important to me.

Looks yummy. Can I get that recipe for the NOROMO?

Ingredients

You will need:

1 pound mascarpone cheese

¼ cup sugar

4 tablespoons Kahlua

1 ½ cupr heavy cream

1 large pack of Ladyfingers

1 cup of brewed coffee at room temperature

1 tablespoon of vanilla

1 large chocolate bar

2 egg whites

Preparation

In a large bowl mix together the marscapone, sugar, and egg whites until a smooth consistency is achieved. In a chilled bowl add the heavy cream, the vanilla, and the sugar, and beat it until it becomes whipped cream. Take the whipped cream and incorporate it into the marscapone mixture. Add the Kahlua to the coffee. Dip lady fingers quickly in and out of the coffee mixture (don't let them become soggy), and then place in rows in an 8 by 10 inch cake pan. Spread a layer of the marscapone/creme mixture over the ladyfingers. Shave half the chocolate bar over the top of the ladyfingers. Repeat the entire process, starting with laying a new layer of ladyfingers on top of the first set. After adding the marscapone/creme to the second layer, shave the second half of the chocolate bar on top to complete. Feel free to continue adding layers until the ingredients run out. Cover and chill overnight. Serve the next day.

I'd have a very hard time actually making this recipe. I'd put the Kahlua into the coffee, melt the chocolate, pour it over the ladyfingers, and dip it in the cream while drinking the coffee.....*hic* what? It's supposed to actually make something other than a snack?

I won't be online at all until after the episode is over. I cannot watch an episode, think and type at the same time. No way. And this is VDO. That is not happening.



I am DVR'ing the episode too and watching it, glued to my TV. When it is over, I will discuss what I remember, of course that won't be much because I don't comprehend very well. I will have to watch the episode another 2-3 times before I understand the whole concept of the episode and I will have to read comments before I watch the episode again and again to get the key points to watch for. I love websites, I really do. They help me understand so much.

I'm with you cifan70 - my dial-up is way too slow to get in the threads on a good day. If the forum is busy with all the folks who plan on being here, I'd miss the whole episode trying to keep up. I want to WATCH the ep and then discuss it afterwards. I always miss something in the original viewing that I see the next time I watch.

Let me guess. You have 1 company that offers high speed and they can charge whatever they want. Sounds familiar. Our cable company (well not ours but my parents) that bought out another one is trying to do that. I hope they get put in their place for it and get regulated. At least with high speed internet, we have 3 companies (I think) that offer it and it is competitive pricing and it really isn't all that expensive. I get mine thru my phone company. I will be waiting for the day when you get yours and excited.
