While WWE's original plan was to do a parody match between Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama impersonators, we will see the real presidential candidates on RAW tonight.

According to an article in today's Broadcasting & Cable, Hillary Clinton, Barack Obama and John McCain will in fact be appearing tonight on RAW - via taped segments in which they'll speak to the WWE fans and encourage them to vote.

The article states: "While they did not take WWE up on the tongue-in-cheek offer, they did agree to tape a message for the audience, as did McCain, whom the network also reached out to as part of its effort to get viewers to the polls.

Hi Bubba here, should be interesting on tonight's RAW. Don't forget it's three hours tonght.

WOW. That is huge.

The WWE have certaintly pulled off a big coup getting this done. I mean, yeah they are taped messages, but it certaintly says something, that presidential candidates are going to give the time of day to WWE RAW.

What most would deem 'low brow, low class' television.

I think it's a good move - on all of their parts to get some votes. I wonder if they'll talk politics or their favorite wrestling moments.

It'd be hilarious to hear Hilary go on and on about Stone Cold or McCain on DX. LMAO laugh.gif

They showed a preview on World News Tonight on ABC.

Hillary was talking about the King Of the Ring will be her.And the last man standing will be a WOMAN!

Then Barack actually said this.......''Let me ask you this,Do you SMELL WHAT BARACK IS COOKIN?''

McCain was saying ''To be the man you have to beat the man'' and come November it will be ''GAME OVER'' when all the CAINIACS run wild!

Its was sooo Funny!

When Hilary said "The People's Elbow", I so wanted to crawl through the TV...

Axl: You know, you come on here, and you don't even give this audience 3 seconds to absorb who you are. Who are you again?
Hilary: Well I said my name was Hila....
Axl: IT DOESN'T MATTER WHAT YOUR NAME IS!

I really found it hilarious. It was weird you know, just different.

Hello all, Good to see you all again! I thought the video's were funny to say the least. But to see Hillary Clinton on any WWE show was a little hypocritical! Does she not remember returning the million dollars that the WWE tried to contribute in the aftermath of 9/11 attacks?

I thought it was a bit strange how all three of them made obscure references about The Rock and Steve Austin. Those guys haven't been relevant in wrestling for quite some time. Anyways, the whole charade seemed too forced and phony (although, doesn't this apply to all things said in politics?) for my liking.

They still are bigger superstars in pop culture, than HBK, Taker & HHH, all solidified legends.

Agreed. Most people know SCSA and nearly everyone knows The Rock. More relevant, some people know DX but they don't know HBK or HHH or Taker, or anyone else for that matter.
