give ideas for Tudy episodes!!!!!!!!! I want to know what people think, like when there is the last season of Monk ever, wouldn't it be nice if Monk solved Trudy's case and maybe be happy enough to kiss Natalie? Do you think the killer should be someone who has been on a monk episode? best ideas will be sent to cast for writers reviewing!(I have connections)

I think it would be great if Trudy's murderer turned out to be Alice Cooper. But then again, it's really late and I'm really tired.

I think it should be a nobody who killed Trudy. The child of someone she convicted by breaking a story or something. If it was a crimelord Monk would have figured it out. He just doesnt have enough clues. And a lack of clues means it's someone very small. (But I am all for bringing back an extra from early episodes so that it's a familiar face if you know where to look. Or I could do it. Familiar to me either way then.)

As a matter of fact - I think that Fat Tony should drop by and tell Monk that they've been working on who killed Trudy as a thank you and give him the name. Something the cops couldnt do for him, but his karma could.

I've been thinking that maybe Trudy's killer would have been someone that Adrian and Stottlemeyer were close to, so close that they couldn't see it. Maybe someone that we've never met, but perhaps a respected colleague on the police force that is now retired or moved away -- a mentor to Monk and Stot when they were new.

Motive? Well he is named as the judge - maybe he was one of those fictional vigilante cops who took matters into his own hands when justice was not served. Perhaps Trudy was close to finding out. Perhaps he thought Adrian was close to finding out, and needed him out of the picture.

I wouldn't mind seeing some flashbacks of Monk, Trudy, and Stot together. I know that would be practically difficult -- not sure whether they would use make-up or use some of the look-alike younger actors that they've used before. But we've really not been privy to what happened on those early days when they worked together, and I really enjoy the friendship aspect of Monk and Stot. I think their past should be more fully developed.

That being said, I think Breckman has hinted that he knows exactly how this is going to end, and he just hasn't told TS.

Obviously, Mr. Monk has to solve Trudy's case. After he does that, I think it would be really cool if, during the last scene of the last episode, the series ended with a content Adrian sipping a glass of milk and smiling.

Would that make you a Monk/milk shipper? Hehehe -- just teasing. It struck me as funny, but it would indicate that he was healing, which is something I'd like to see too.

First, sorry Bubba, but I would really see Monk and Natalie kissing as husband and wife!!

Second, I think it would be great that Natalie somehow put the things together to help Monk solving Trudy´s murder. As Monk is blocked and cannot think clearly to solve the mistery, Natalie is the one closer to him and also the one that understands him an can enter his self-centred world and get what he needs/wants/thinks. They have a nice link, and this would grow a lot more if she helps him on the solution.
Third, I would like to see that the solution is there, is something Monk could realize easily, and he cannot because is to strong for him yet to dissect it.

It might be cool if Trudy's murderer was the captains superior then after he is caught the captain can get promoted and then reinstate Monk.

i think the should do a two part episode like they did at the end of season six, but solve the Trudy case. i think it should be someone on a previous episode. and i think in the two part season finale they said they found letters in the six fingered mans home refering to a judge that had hired all of them? if i'm correct i think the killer should be someone Trudy made mad because of an article or story she did when she was alive revealing to much information about this person(or something like that) just an idea!

Yes, to conclude the series with closure coming only to Monk by solving Trudy's murder and leaving everything left unfinished might be the most appropriate finale to the series which is named after him for by doing so it would also provide the FF writers the unfettered freedom to write their own endings.
