I think Gus is the perfect sidekick. Shawn and Lassie are more leaders. Gus is just really cool.

Lassie, he ain't a side kick in my opinion. He's to much of a leader like Shawn.

Dang, I'm torn between Gus and Jules. They're both fantastic sidekicks to they're partners, Shawn and Lassie who are about as similar as apples and oranges, but they excel in different areas.

I choose both.
