A Desperate Cry.

This story is rated mature, there are scenes with rape.

Olivia is 8 years old. She lives with her mom Serena, and her step father Bill.

Elliot is 9 years old. His family has just moved in next door to Olivia's family.

Fin is also 9 years old, he lives down the street from Olivia, and is Olivia's class mate in school.

Alex and Casey are sisters. Alex is 8 years old, and Casey is 7 years old. They are Olivia's best friends.

Chapter 1.
"Olivia Benson get your lazy butt down here now!" Serena yelled to her 8 year old daughter. Hearing her mother and knowing what was coming next, Olivia took her sweet time coming down the stairs.
Serena seeing Olivia at the stairs, grabbed a hold of her daughters arm roughly, and drug her down the stairs.

"Didn't you hear me calling you." Serena yelled at her.

"Yes mommy, I was coming." Olivia tells her mother, as she sees her mothers hand come up. Smack, as Serena's hand comes down hard across Olivia's face.

"That is for back talking me." Serena yells at her now frightened daughter.

"I'm sorry mommy, it won't happen again." Olivia tells her mom.

"It better not." Serena sneers at her daughter.

Olivia turns and starts to head out the door. Serena yells at her daughter again.

"You had better be in the house by 5:00, you know how Bill doesn't like it when you are late." Serena tells Olivia.

"I will be here on time." a frightened Olivia tells her mother.

When Olivia gets outside, she notices a moving van next door. She wondered if anybody would ever move into the old Cragen place. It had been over a year since old man Cragen died of a sudden heart attack. His death was a hard one for Olivia. He had been a comfort for Olivia, especially when Serena would be on one of drunken binges.
Olivia would spend her time with old man Cragen, he taught her so much. Olivia was in one of her thoughts, and did not hear the voice behind her.

"Hello there," as a little hand touched Olivia's shoulder.

Olivia jumps a little, and turns around. "Oh hi there, my name is Olivia Benson. I live next door." Olivia tells the little boy that is standing before her.

"My name is Elliot Stabler. My dad just bought this old place." Elliot tells Olivia.

"I'm glad to meet you Elliot." Olivia tells Elliot, as she shakes his hand.

"What do you do for fun around here?" Elliot asks Olivia.

"Not much around here." Olivia tells Elliot. Olivia looks back towards her house. She sees her mother standing in the doorway. Olivia looks at her watch. It only reads 4:30. Olivia knows she still has 30 minutes. Elliot looks in Olivia's direction.

"Who's that?" Elliot asks.

"That's my mom, Serena." Olivia tells Elliot.

Soon Elliot hears his mother calling him.

"I have to go now. It's time for dinner. Will I see you tomorrow?" Elliot asks Olivia.

"Yeah I will walk with you to the bus stop for school tomorrow." Olivia tells him.

Elliot turns around and heads towards his house. Olivia looks at her watch, and notices that it's 5 minutes past the time she is suppose to be in the house. Olivia reaches the house and notices Bill's truck in the driveway. A frightened Olivia walks through the front door. "SMACK" as Olivia feels a fist hit her in the side of the face.

"I thought I had told you, that when your mother tells you do something, you do it." Bill yells at Olivia.

Olivia tries to stand up, but again Bill's fist hits her in the face one more time.

"Answer me, you worthless child." Bill yells at her again.

"I-Iam sorry. It won't happen again." Olivia tells Bill, as tears stream down her face.

"It better not, or it will be worse next time. Now go and wash up for dinner." Bill tells her.

Olivia starts to walk away from Bill, when he stops her one more time.

"By the way, I want you to put on that nice little sun dress of yours. You know the one I like." Bill tells her.

Olivia starts to shake, she hates the idea of having to put on the sun dress, but she does as Bill tells her.

Later on at the dinner table, Olivia pushes her food around her plate, and looking down at the floor.

"Damn it, eat." Bill yells at her.

"I'm not very hungry." Olivia tells him.

Bill looks over at Olivia with a sadistic grin on his face. Olivia knows what's coming next.

"You get on up to your room, and wait for me." Bill tells her.

Olivia gets up from the table and slowly starts walking towards the stairs in complete fear. When she reaches her room, she hides in the closet. She starts to pray, that Bill will get so drunk, and pass out. Olivia prays that Bill will not come to her room tonight. Olivia has never told anyone about being Bill's dirty little secret.

A while later Olivia hears Bill's foot steps coming up the stairs, and his voice on the stairs. "Come on Olivia, you know what time it is?" Bill tells her. Olivia tries to hide deeper into her closet, when she hears the door knob of her bedroom turning.

This is so sad. But it sounds really good. Please add more.

Chapter 2

Olivia hears her step father coming closer to the closet. She starts to pray harder.

"Please dear God, please help me out of this." Olivia tells God, but she knows that her prayers are never answered.
She hears the closet door being shoved opened, and sees Bill standing there.

"Come on out, Olivia. Don't you try to run from me." Bill tells her, as he grabs her arm roughly, and drags her
out of the closet. Tears are streaming down Olivia's face as Bill drags her over to the bed....


Elliot Stablers home.

Elliot and his family have just finished up with dinner,they are sitting around the table talking.

"Well Elliot how do you like it here so far?" Mr. Stabler asks his son.

"I met a girl today, her name is Olivia, and she lives next door to us." Elliot tells his parents.

"That's nice Elliot, maybe we should go over and introduce ourselves. How does that sound?" Elliots mother tells
him and his father.

"Sounds good, tomorrow we will go over and introduce ourselves." Elliots mother tells them.


Olivia's home.

"Please stop, please don't do this." Olivia screams and pleads with her stepfather.

"Don't do what?" As he strokes the inside of her thighs.

"I promise to be good, please stop." Olivia begs with him.

Bill gets up from the bed, and undoes his belt. He then drops his pants. He steps closer to Olivia.

"Come here my dear princess." As Bill starts to get on top of her, and starts to rape her.

Downstairs Serena hears her daughters cries for help, but does nothing to go up, and try to stop her husband.
Serena goes to the liquor cabinet, pulls out another bottle of Vodka, and sits down on the chair in the kitchen.
She lifts up the bottle to her mouth, and starts swigging the vile liquor.

"Here's to you sweetheart." Serena says as she listens to her daughter screaming for help.

When Bill is finished. He gets up, takes Olivia's face in his hands.

"You had better not tell anybody about this. Do you understand?" Bill sneers at her.

"I won't tell anybody, I promise." Olivia tells him, as he walks out of the room.

Olivia goes into the bathroom next to her room, she starts running the bath water. She climbs into the tub, she
starts to wash all the disgust off of her body. The disgust that belongs to her stepfather. After her bath Olivia
goes and climbs into bed. Tears stream down her face, as she silently falls asleep.

The next morning Olivia wakes up to silence in the house. She knew that Bill had gone to work, and her mother was
probably passed out on the sofa from one of her all night drinking binges. Olivia gets dressed, as she is looking
at herself in the mirror, she notices the bruise on her cheek. She has had so many bruises, that she was good at
coming up with a story to tell her teacher Ms. Warner. Olivia grabs her book bag, and heads out the door, towards
Elliot's house

Olivia gets to the door and knocks. Elliots mother answers the door.

"Hello there, you must be Olivia. Elliot has told us so much about you. Please come in." Mrs. stabler tells her.

Elliot's mother notices the bruise on Olivia's face.

"Where did you get that bruise." His mother asks her.

"Uh uh I ran into the door frame last night." Olivia tells her. Knowing that she is lying to her.

"Oh ok sweety. Elliot is just finishing getting his stuff together." Elliots mother tells Olivia.

A few minutes later Elliot and Olivia start walking towards the bus stop. A few minutes later Olivia stops in
front of a run down house. Three dogs are asleep on the porch, and there are beer bottles laying all over the yard.

"This is Odafin's house, but we all just call him Fin." Olivia tells Elliot.

Olivia goes up to the door, and Fin comes out. He slams the door behind him.

"Your mother, was she on one of her binges again?" Olivia asks Fin.

"Yeah, but now mama is starting to do the harder stuff." Fin tells her.

"Oh Fin, this is Elliot, he just moved in yesterday in the old Cragen place." Olivia tells him.

"Nice to meet you Fin." Elliot tells him.

The three walk to the bus stop. When they get there Alex and Casey are waiting for them.

"Good morning Olivia and Fin. Who is this?" Alex asks.

"This is Elliot Stabler, him and his parents just moved into the old Cragen place." Olivia tells them.

Casey notices the bruise on Olivia's face.

"Olivia where did you get that bruise?" Casey asks her.

"Oh this is nothing. I don't want to talk about right now." Olivia tells her, as the bus comes up the road.

Chapter 3

As the bus approaches the stop. The five children pick up their packs, and begin to get on the bus. Olivia is
the last one to get on the bus. The bus driver asks her to stay behind for a moment. Olivia shakes her and lets
her four friends go by her. The bus driver looks at her face.

"Olivia what happened?" The driver asks her.

"I ran into the door frame last night. I was being clumsy." Olivia tells him.

"Olivia you would tell me if something was wrong at home?" The driver asks her.

"Uh yes." Olivia tells him.

Olivia goes back and sits next to Elliot. Elliot looks at her.

"What did he want?" Elliot asks her.

"Just getting into my business again. I just wish everybody would leave me alone." Olivia yells at Elliot.

"Ok, I just want to make sure that you are ok." Elliot tells her. Olivia turns away from Elliot and looks out the
window of the bus, as a gentle rain starts to fall.


The school bus pulls into the school yard. The children unload from the bus. They head into the classroom.
A few minutes later the last bell rings. Ms. Warner stands in front of the class.

"Ok class settle down. We have a new student, this is Elliot Stabler." Warner tells the class.

"Hi" Elliot, comes the chorus of voices from the room.

"Elliot you can have a seat next to Olivia." Ms. Warner tells him. Elliot goes and sits next to Olivia.

Ms Warner looks around the room, and notices a bruise on Olivia's face. She shakes her head, this is not the first
time that Olivia has come to school with bruises on her. Ms. Warner sits down at her desk wondering what she should
do. Finally she stands up, and calls Olivia to her desk. Olivia goes up to the desk.

"Olivia what is going on at home, and please tell me the truth." Ms. Warner tells her.

"I promised I wouldn't say anything." Olivia tells Ms. Warner in a paniced voice.

"Olivia if somebody is hurting you at home, you have to tell me. I want to help you." Ms. Warner tells her.

"Nobody at home is hurting me." I-Iam just clumsy. My mom even tells me so." Olivia tells her.

"Ok, you may go and sit back down." Ms. Warner tells her.

The day passes by quickly and before everybody knows it, it's time to go home. The kids say good bye to Ms. Warner.
They load up on the bus and head back home.

"Hey Liv, do you want to come over to my house and work on our homework together?" Elliot asks her.

"I have to get home. Mom doesn't like it when I am late, and besides its my turn to clean the house today." Olivia
tells him.

"Oh ok, maybe some other time. Oh by the way, my parents are coming over tonight to meet your parents." Elliot
tells her. Olivia looks at him in fear.

"No Elliot they can't come over tonight." Olivia yells at him.

"Why not?" Elliot asks her, confused.

"You just can't." Olivia yells

Olivia turns and heads into her house, leaving Elliot on the porch confused.


Later on that evening as Olivia is up in her room doing her homework. She hears a knock on the door. She looks
out the window, and sees Elliot and his family standing there. Olivia thinks to herself. "Why did they have to
come, I don't want them to see how my mom really is."

A few minutes later, Olivia hears her step father's voice.

"Olivia please come on down, we have company." Bill tells her.

Olivia comes down the stairs, and stands next to Bill. Something that Olivia has learned from Bill.

"Olivia please say hello to our guest." Bill tells her.

Olivia says hello to the guest. She then turns towards Bill. He gives her a small pinch.

"I understand that Elliot is in Olivia's class." Serena tells Elliots parents.

"Yeah, and your Olivia is all he talks about." Elliot's mother tells her.

The two families sit down, and talk. Deep down inside Olivia wished her family would be like Elliot's family.
She was so tired of being her mom and step father's punching bag, and her stepfather's dirty secret. Olivia knew
she was a product of her mother's rape, and she wondered why her mother kept her. If she didn't care for her, why
keep her. The night wears on. A while later, Mr. Stabler looks at his watch.

"Well Elliot, we should be going." He tells his son.

Elliot stands up, and tells Olivia that he would see her in the morning. Olivia gives Elliot a hug. Elliot and
his family walk out the front door, and disappear into the darkness.

Olivia turns off the porch light, and turns back around. She sees Bill standing there. He has a look of disgust
on his face.

"Why didn't you tell us that we were having company tonight." Bill yells at her.

"I tried to tell Elliot that it was not a good day for them to come over." Olivia tells him.

"Well you didn't try hard enough." Bill tells her, as his hand comes down across Olivia's face.

Olivia falls to the floor in pain, her tears stinging her face. Bill looks down at her, and kicks her in the
stomach with his work boots. Olivia tries to crawl away, but Bill drags her back into the living room.

"I have told you not to run from me." Bill tells her, as he kicks her once more. Olivia lays motionless on the
living room floor.

Chapter 4

Olivia lay on the floor, not knowing how long it had been. The pain was unbearable, more than she could
ever stand. Olivia looks around the living room before everything goes dark again.

The next morning Fin comes walking over to Elliot's house. He knocks on the door.

"Good morning Mrs. Stabler, is Elliot ready for school?" Fin tells her.

"You must be Fin. Elliot has told me so much about you. Yeah Elliot is ready to go. I haven't seen Olivia around
this morning." She tells Fin.

Fin gets a worried look on his face. Usually it's Olivia walking with him to school. Fin looks over towards Olivia's
house. He notices that her stepfather's truck and her mother's car are gone. He sees Elliot, and pulls him
out onto the porch.

"Something doesn't feel right. Olivia's parents are gone. I'm kind of scared." Fin tells Elliot.

"Well maybe her mom and stepfather at work." Elliot reassures him.

"That's the thing, Olivia's mother does not work. She has a drinking problem. She is unable to hold down a job."
Fin tells Elliot.

Elliot looks at Fin, and both boys race over to her house. They knock on the door, but there is no answer.
Again the two boys knock again. A few minutes later they hear a faint voice coming from inside.
"Please help me." Fin tries the door, but it's locked.

"We have to get in there, somebody may be in trouble." Elliot tells Fin.

Fin walks around the house and notices an open window. He calls for Elliot.

"Hey I found an open window. Help me climb through." Fin tells Elliot.

Elliot gives Fin a boost up to the window. Fin gets into the house, and starts looking around.

"Have you found anything yet?" Elliot yells at Fin.

"No not yet." Fin tells him, as he hears Elliot coming through the window.

"Elliot I will go look upstairs and you look down here." Fin tells him.

Fin goes up the stairs and starts to look around, while Elliot looks downstairs. While Elliot is looking around
he heads for the living room. When he reaches the living room he notices Olivia lying on the floor. He runs over
to her.

"Olivia, Olivia, can you hear me?" Elliot yells at her.

Olivia lets out a small groan. "It hurts, my stomach hurts really bad." She manages to tell Elliot.

With a scared look on his face, he yells for Fin.

"I found Olivia, you need to go and get my mom." Elliot tells Fin.

Fin comes running down the stairs, and sees Olivia laying on the floor. He looks at Elliot and runs out the door.
He makes his way over to Elliot's house, and starts banging on the door.

MRS. STABLER, MRS. STABLER. PLEASE HELP!!!" Fin yells.

Elliot's mother comes to the door.

"Calm down Fin, what is going on. Is Elliot hurt?" She asks Fin.

"No Elliot is fine, it's Olivia. Elliot found her laying on the floor in her house, she is not moving." Fin tells
her in a scared voice.

Mrs. Stabler and Fin run over to Olivia's house. They go through the front door. She sees Olivia on the floor.
She bends down and takes a look at Olivia. After looking at Olivia, she then turns to Elliot.

"Elliot call the ambulance. I am going to call the hosptial and tell them that the ambulance will be bringing Olivia in."
She tells Elliot.

Elliot finds the phone in the kitchen. He then searches for a phone book, and finds the number to the local fire
department. A few minutes later Elliot comes running back into the living room.

"They are on their way mama." Elliot tells his mother.

"Ok, that's good." She tells him.

Fin looks over at Mrs. Stabler. He has a very worried look on his face.

"Is she going to be ok?" Fin asks has his lips start to tremble.

"I don't know. We won't know until we get her to the hospital, and the doctors take a look at her." She tells
Fin.

Olivia starts to wake up a little.

"MMMMMMM... It hurt's so bad." Olivia manages to get out.

"Olivia do you know who did this to you?" Mrs. Stabler asks her.

"It was my....Olivia tried to tell Mrs. Stabler, before she loses consciouses again.

Elliot's mom looks over at the two boys, and says to herself. "Who on earth could have done this to her, and
where is her mother and stepfather at?" She wonders to herself.


A few minutes later the ambulance pulls up the driveway and the attendants come into the house, after checking
Olivia over, and loading her into the ambulance, the driver turns to Elliot's mother.

"This isn't the first time we have been to this house." The driver tells her.

"What do you mean?" she asks them.

"We usually are once a week when Olivia's mother goes on one of her drinking binges. We have suspected abuse
in the home, but we can't prove it." The driver tells her.

Elliot, Fin, and Mrs. Stabler follow the ambulance to Mercy General. As Mrs. Stabler is driving Elliot and Fin
look out the window, and wonder how anybody could do something like this to a little girl. A little girl who
was also their best friend.

Chapter 5

On their way to Mercy General as Fin and Elliot are looking out the window of the car. Fin turns to Elliot.

"How did your mom know what to do?" Fin asks him.

"My mom is a nurse. She just got a job a Mercy General. That's the reason we moved here.

"Oh ok." Fin tells him, as he stares out of the window once again.


When the ambulance arrives at Mercy General the paramedics take Olivia inside. Elliot's mother pulls into
a parking place and the three of them rush inside.

"Good morning, may I please help you?" A kind young woman behind the desk asks Elliot's mother.

"Yes, do you know where they took an Olivia Benson?" She asks the woman.

"Are you family?" She asks her.

"No, but I am a new nurse here, starting next Monday." She tells the woman.

"Well...I will see what I can do." She tells the three, as she walks away from the desk.

Elliot and Fin go sit down in the waiting room. While Mrs.Stabler paces the area by the desk.

"Do you think Olivia is going to be ok?" Elliot asks Fin.

"Yeah she will be alright. Quite the fighter she is." Fin tells Elliot.

"Oh yeah." Elliot says looking a Fin strangely.

"Yeah last year a new kid Dean Porter kept picking on Casey. Wouldn't leave her alone. Olivia found out about
it, and punched him dead in the face for it." Fin tells Elliot.

"Wow quite the fighter then." Elliot repeats back.

A few minutes later the woman who had been standing behind the desk comes up to Mrs. Stabler.

"The doctor wants to talk with the family first. Do you know where they are at?" She asks Mrs. Stabler.

"I don't know where they could be." She tells the woman. Mrs. Stabler thinks to herself. "They should be
here with their daughter."

"Well we will have a police officer go out, and try to find them." The woman tells her.

While the two ladies are talking, they a voice behind them.

"Go and check the bars, that's where Olivia's mother usually hangs out at." Fin tells them.

While the police are out searching for Serena and Bill. Mrs. Stabler is allowed to go back, and be with Olivia.
Elliot looks over at his mother.

"Can't Fin and I come along?" Elliot asks his mother.

"No, they don't want you two back there. I will come out and let you know what is going on, when I find out
something." She tells Elliot and Fin.

"Fin, shouldn't you call your parents and let them know you are here?" Elliot's mother asks him.

"Yeah, nana will be worried about me." Fin tells her.

Fin goes to the nearest phone and calls home. j

Elliot's mother heads to the back to be with Olivia.


The Rusty Crow.

Two police officers go inside the Rusty Crow, after seeing Serena's car outside. They walk inside, and take
a look around. The officers go up to the bartender. They pull a picture of Serena.

"Have you seen this woman?" The officer asks him."

"Yeah, that's her sitting over there in the corner. She has been mumbling something about being sorry about her
daughter." The bartender tells the officers.

They walk over to a table sitting off in a corner.

"Serena Harris?" The officer asks her.

"Yeah what do you want? I already paid my parking tickets." Serena mouths off to them.

"This is not about your parking tickets, it's about your daughter Olivia. She is at Mercy General." The officer
tells her.

Serena looks up at the officers. "What do you mean she is in the hospital. What happened? Who took her there?"
Serena demanded to know.

"She was found this morning laying on the floor in your living room. Two neighbor boys found her. She was taken
to the hospital by a Mrs. Stabler. The mother to one of the boys." The officers tell Serena.

"That Bitch, she has no right to take my daughter anywhere." Serena tells the officers, as she stands up, and
stumbles out the door.

The officers go after her. They catch up to her, and see her trying to get into her car.

"You are in no condition to drive." The officer tells her.

"Leave me alone, let me go. I have to get to the hospital, my baby needs me." Serena yells at the officer.

"Calm down please. we will drive you to the hospital." The officer tells her.

Serena gets into the patrol car, and they head their way to Mercy General.


Mercy General.

Mrs. Stabler is sitting in the back with Olivia when she notices a man about 6 foot tall walking through the
the door. He keeps looking around. Finally a nurse comes up to him.

"May I help you sir?" She asks him.

"Yes my name is Bill Harris, I am here for my daughter Olivia. They told me that she is here.

"Sir if you could please have a seat. I will go and try to find her." The nurse tells him.

A few minutes later the nurse comes back.

"Mr. Harris, could you please come with me. The nurse walks Mr. Harris back to the room where Olivia is.

He looks in the room. "Can I go in, and see her." Bill asks the nurse, as of nothing had happened at home
the folllowing evening.

"Yeah sure go on in." The nurse tells him

He walks into the room, givng Elliot's mother a cold stare. She stands up, and walks out the door. Bill goes
over to the bed, and starts stroking Olivia's hair.

"You had better not have told anybody about what happened a couple of nights ago." He whispers into her ear.

Olivia starts waking up. When her eyes focus. She notices Bill standing there. Olivia starts to panic. She tries
to get off of the bed, but pulls out the Iv in her attempt to escape the man who raped her.

"Olivia you have to calm down." Bill tells her.

"Get away from me, I don't want you around me." Olivia screams at him.

Hearing the commotion in the room, a doctor, a nurse, and Mrs. Stabler run into the room. They see Olivia trying
to get away from Bill.

"I just came into the room, and she went totally beserk on me." Bill tells the doctor.

"I don't want him around me." Olivia screams at everybody standing in the room.

The calls in two orderlies. They come into the room, and manage to get Olivia back on the bed. The doctor puts
some kind of medicine into the IV. A few seconds later, Olivia falls asleep. The doctor turns to Mrs. Stabler.

"I will have to ask you to leave. I only want the family here now." The doctor tells her.

Elliots mother walks past Bill, he gives her a cold stare as she walks out the door. After she leaves Bill looks
at the doctor.

"I am going to go, and try to find my wife, she is probably sick with worry." He tells the doctor.

When Bill leaves the doctor and nurse go over to Olivia. They start their exam. The nurse notices bruises on
Olivia's stomach.

"Doctor, take a look at this bruise. This looks like somebody kicked her." The nurse tells the doctor.

As the doctor is looking at the boot sized bruise. Olivia starts waking up. She only sees a mans face, and starts
to panic once more. The doctor looks at her.

"It's ok I'm here to help you. Can you tell me what happened?" The doctor asks Olivia.

"He won't come back in will he?" She asks the doctor.

"Nobody can come in, if you don't want them to." The doctor tells her.

"I won't get into trouble, if I tell you something?" Olivia once again asks the doctor.

"You have done nothing wrong. You won't get in trouble for telling me something." The doctor tells her.

"He..He." Olivia stops and turns her head away, and starts crying again.

"He what?" The doctor tries to get out of Olivia.

She turns her head back towards the doctor. "HE RAPED ME, MY STEPFATHER RAPED ME!" Olivia screams at the doctor.

Chapter 6

The doctor looks at Olivia, he is stunned to hear what she has just told him.

"Olivia could you please repeat that again?" The doctor asks her.

Olivia looks at him, and begins to cry once more.

"You don't believe me. You don't believe that my stepfather raped me." Olivia tells the doctor through her
tears.

The doctor pulls the nurse aside in the room. "Let's do an internal exam. We won't be able to get a rape
kit, because the evidence has probably been washed away." The doctor tells the nurse.

"What do we do about Mr. Harris?" The nurse asks him.

"Keep him out of the area. Make up a story if you have to." The doctor tells the nurse.

A few minutes later Olivia's mother appears at the doorway of Olivias room. She looks in at her daughter.
The doctor comes out to speak with her.

"Hello, are you Olivia's mother?" The doctor asks her.

"Yes, why is my daughter here?" Serena asks the doctor

"Mrs. Harris, we need to go and talk somewhere else." The doctor tells her.

"I want to know what is going on with my daughter, and I want to know now." Serena yells at the doctor.

The doctor looks back at her. "We really need to talk elsewhere. Your daughter told us something, I think
you should hear." The doctor tells her.

The doctor leads Serena to his office. "Please have a seat. What I am going to tell you, no mother should
have to hear this." The doctor tells her.

"Ok, you have me in here, now please tell me what crazy story Olivia has come up with this time?" Serena asks the
doctor.

"Olivia claims that her stepfather Bill raped her." The doctor tells Serena.

Serena stands up and looks out the door. She starts laughing. "Oh that's a good one. Bill would never hurt
a hair on her head. She is trying to get back at him, because he made her do the housework the other day." Serena
lies to the doctor.

"We also found a boot sized bruise on her abdomen. Can you explain how that got there?" The doctor asks Serena.

"She probably got that from playing." Serena once again lies to the doctor.

"Ok, well I am going to go back and do an exam on Olivia. Please go wait out in the waiting room. I will call
you if we find out something." The doctor informs Serena.

Serena gives the doctor a nasty look, and walks out into the waiting room, where she runs into Elliot's mother.

"How dare you bring my daughter to the hospital. Her stepfather and I would have taken care of her at home." Serena
yells at Mrs. Stabler.

"I did what was right. Your daughter was seriously injured. Don't you care?" Mrs. Stabler yells back at her.

Serena turns around and sees Bill standing by a window in the waiting room. She starts walking towards him,
but stops and turns around. She stares coldly at Mrs. Stabler.

"Don't ever touch my daughter again." She tells her.

Elliot comes walking over to his mother. He gives her a hug.

"Is Olivia going to be ok?" He asks his mother.

"Yes Olivia is going to be just fine." His mother tells him. Not knowing the full truth.

In Olivia's room the doctor has just finished exam. "Nurse please call the police, but do it without her parents
knowing about it." The doctor informs the nurse.

The nurse turns to the doctor. "After the police are called what do you want me to do then?" She asks the doctor.

"We need to get a ultrasound and x-ray done of her abdomen. Iam suspecting some internal injuries." The doctor
tells the nurse.

The nurse walks out of the room, to call the police.

The doctor walks back over to Olivia. "Ok Olivia we are going to run some more test. Your stepfather won't be
able to hurt you ever again. The police are going to arrest him." The doctor tells her.

"It won't do any good. My stepfather is a police officer, they will protect him." Olivia tells the doctor.

"Olivia you have to believe me. He won't be able to hurt you ever again." The doctor reassures her.

Olivia looks back at the doctor. "He has told me that nobody would ever believe me. They always believe the
police officer." She tells the doctor. Olivia turns her head back towards the wall. The doctor walks out
of the room, he heads for the waiting room. When he gets there he sees Mrs. Stabler.

"Excuse me, I need for you and your two boys to come with me." The doctor whispers into her ear.

"Oh ok. Elliot, Fin we need to go with the doctor." She tells the boys.

The doctor takes Mrs. Stabler, Elliot, and Fin back to see Olivia. He takes Mrs. Stabler off to the side.

"We found out what was going on with Olivia. This is not going to be easy to understand all of it." The
doctor tells her.

"Please let tell me what is going on." Mrs. Stabler tells the doctor.

"Olivia has been seriously injured. We are going to do an ultrasound, and an x-ray on her abdomen. There may
be some internal bleeding in her abdomen. It looks like she was kicked in the abdomen by somebodies work boots.
There is something else." The doctor tells her.

"what is it doctor?" Mrs. Stabler questions him.

"Olivia was also raped by her stepfather." The doctor tells her.

"Oh dear God. Where in the hell was her mother at during all of this. He is the one that probably kicked her
as well." Mrs. Stabler tells the doctor. She turns towards Elliot. Elliot sees the tears run down his mother's
face, he knows something bad has happened.

A few moments later, a commotion is going on out in the waiting room. The doctor and a nurse walk out to see
what is going on. Serena is screaming at the police officers, who have just arrived to arrest Bill.

"Please you can't arrest him. He did nothing wrong, Olivia has quite the imagination." She yells at the officer.

"I'm sorry, I am doing my job. A report of child rape was reported by a doctor, and I have to do my duty." The
officer tells her.

"Don't worry, I will be ok. I will be getting out of jail by tonight." Bill tells Serena.


"Bill Harris you have the right to remain silent. Anything you say can be used against you in a court of law." The
officer tells him, as he walks Bill out of the hospital in handcuffs.

Chapter 7

Local Police station.

Two officers escort Bill to an intergation room. They look over at Bill.

"Can we get you something?" One of the officers asks him, with a smile on his face.

"Yeah, you can get me a lawyer, and a cup of coffee." Bill tells them with a smirk on his face.

"Don't worry Bill the precint lawyer is on her over here now." The officer tells him.

"Ok, thanks a lot." Bill responds.


Mercy General:

Elliot,and Fin are in the room with Olivia they are discussing their futures.

"Fin, what are you going to do when you grow up?" Elliot asks Fin.

"Not sure what I want to do. Thought about becoming a lawyer or even a firefigter." Fin tells them.

"How about you Elliot. What do you want to do?" Fin asks him.

"I want to become a doctor, and help people." Elliot tells Fin.

Both boys look over at Olivia, who had been staring off into space. "How about you Olivia. What do you
want to be when you grow up?" Elliot asks her.

"I am not sure what I want to do. Everytime I tell my mother of my dreams, she tells me that I will amount
to nothing." Olivia tells the two boys.

Elliot gets up, and walks out into the hallway. He sees the nurse coming with a gurney. The nurse walks into
Olivia's room. She walks over to Olivia.

"Hey, we are going to take you to go have some tests done now. Are you ready to go?" The nurse asks her.

"Yeah I guess so." Olivia tells her.

As the nurse is wheeling Olivia to ultrasound. Fin and Elliot tell her that the Three Musketeers will ride again.


Local Police Precint.

Detective Munch walks into the room. He takes a good long hard look at Bill.

Let's see what we can charge you with." Munch tells Bill.

"You can't charge me with anything. I didn't do anything." Bill sneers at Munch.

"Let's see. I think we can charge you with child abuse, and child rape." Munch tells him.

As the two are arguing. The precint lawyer, Dani Beck walks into the room.

"You can quit talking with my client. I am going to take him home now." Dani tells Munch.

She hands Munch an enevelope. "Here is a motion to supress evidence." Dani tells him.

Munch watches as the man he thought he had walks out the door with his lawyer. Munch gets on the phone to
the judge, he wants to get a restraining order for Bill. He wants to do his best to keep him away from
Olivia. The phone rings four times before the judge answers it.

"This had better be good." Judge Donnelly tells Munch.

"I want to get a restraining order out for one Bill Harris." Munch tells her.

"You don't mean captain Bill Harris?" Donnelly asks him.

"Yeah he's the one." Munch tells her.

"You had better have a good reason why you need to get one." Donnelly tells him.

"I want to keep him away from his stepdaughter Olivia. There is an acusation of him raping her." Munch tells the
judge.

"There is not enough evidence to support the claim. His lawyer just came and saw me. I am not going to issue
a restraining order." Donnelly tell him.

Munch slams down the phone. "DAMN, I can't even get justice for an eight year old girl.


Mercy General.

A few hours later, Olivia is rolled back into her room. The doctor steps out to talk with Serena.

"We got the test results back on Olivia, she is going to need surgery." The doctor tells her.

"What is wrong with her?" Serena asks the doctor with a smug look on her face.

"She has internal bleeding. Whoever kicked her, caused her some real damage. Her spleen has been serverly
damaged. Her kidney has been damaged as well." The doctor tells Serena.

"When is she going in for surgery?" Serena wants to know.

"As soon as you sign the papers to allow us to operate." The doctor tells her.

"Well hurry up, and give me the papers to sign. I have to get going, and get my husband out of jail." Serena
tells the doctor.

The doctor looks at her in great suprise. He hands her the paper, and a pen. Serena signs the consent form, and
then walks out of hospital, on her way to get her husband from jail.

A few hours later. Olivia is rolled out of the room holding Elliot's hand. She has a scared look on her
face.

"Elliot I'm scared, what if I don't wake up?" Olivia asks Elliot.

"Don't talk like that Liv, you will come out of surgery, and be just fine." Elliot tells her. Standing behind
Elliot, Fin shakes his head in agreement. The two boys watch as their best friend is taken into surgery.

"She will be alright, won't she Elliot?" Fin asks him.

"Yeah she will be alright. I hope so." Elliot tells him back.

Chapter 8

Mercy General:

While Olivia is in surgery. Elliot, Fin, and Mrs. Stabler are sitting in the waiting area. Elliot and Fin are
looking at car magazines, trying to keep their minds on something else. Mrs. Stabler is pacing back and forth in
the waiting area. She is thinking to herself. "How can a mother do this to her own child?" A few hours later,
the doctor and surgeon come out to speak with Serena.

"Are you Serena Harris?" The surgeon asks Mrs. Stabler.

"Uh no, I'm Noreen Stabler." She tells the surgeon.

"I have to speak to the girls mother." The surgeon tells her.

"She was going to pick up her husband from jail, and then she will probably go to the bar after that." Noreen
tells the surgeon.

The surgeon looks at her in total disgust, "Well I am going to tell you what is going on. Do you think you could
speak to her mother about this when she is around." The surgeon tells her.

Serena has just arrived to pick up her husband from jail. When she enters the police station, she hears laughing,

"Hey, you finally come to take out of this place." Bill asks her.

"Yeah, I missed you so much. Olivia is in surgery now. I guess she will be ok. I am heading back to the
hospital." Serena tells Bill.

Just as Bill and Serena are walking out of the police station. Dani stops them. "Hey Bill, I know you
didn't do anything, and this trumped up rape charge is just a child screaming for attention. Could you
stay away from her just a couple of days. Until things start quieting down."

"Yeah I will stay away for a couple of days, but I am going to fight this. Mark my words I will fight this."
Bill tells his lawyer as he walks out of the police station.

Mercy General:

"Olivia had extensive damage done to her spleen. We removed her spleen, as well as her left kidney. She came
through surgery with flying colors. She is going to have to spend a night in the ICU, just to make sure there
is no more bleeding." The surgeon tells Noreen.

"What will happen to her, after she is released from the hospital?" Noreen questions the surgeon.

"Well, she will go home in about a week. I assume that her parents will take her home." The surgeon tells her.

"NO, YOU CAN'T LET THEM TAKE OLIVIA HOME!" Elliot shouts at the surgeon.

"Elliot, please calm down. We will try and work something out." Noreen tells her son.

The surgeon shakes hands with Noreen and walks back to the operating room. A few minutes later Serena shows
up at the hospital. She sees Noreen, and walks up angrily to her.

"You like taking my daughter away from me?" Serena asks her angrily.

"I did not take your daughter from you. You left the hospital, knowing that Olivia was going into surgery."
Noreen yells back at her.

"I was scared, I don't want to see Olivia like this." Serena tells Noreen.

"No, you had to go and pick up your no good for nothing husband." Noreen screams at her.

"Don't you ever talk about my husband like that" Serena yells back, as her hand comes up to hit Noreen.

A hospital security guard sees what is going on, and comes over to see what is going on. He breaks up the two
women.

"I am going to have to ask you to please breake this up." The guard tells them.

"You tell this woman to stay away from my daughter."Serena yells towards the guard.

The guard looks over at Noreen. "Could you please stay away from her daughter, just until everything calms down?"
The guard asks Noreen.

Noreen tells Elliot and Fin to come along. Elliot looks at his mother. "Can't we go see Olivia?" Elliot asks her.

"No not tonight Elliot. Besides you and Fin cannot go into the ICU, and you both have to go to school tomorrow."
Noreen tells Elliot and Fin.

"Oh all right." Elliot tells his mother as they walk out of the hospital.

Olivia's room in the ICU:

Serena finds Olivia's room, and walks in. She walks over to Olivia's bed. Sitting on the nearest chair, she
starts stroking Olivia's hair.

"Mama is here. That woman won't come near you again." Serena tells her daughter.

Olivia starts to wake up. She sees her mother sitting there. She turns towards her mother.

"Go away, I don't want you here." Olivia yells at her mother.

"Now Olivia you don't mean that." Serena tries to reason with her daughter.

"YES I DO MEAN IT. I HATE YOU, ALL YOU DO IS DRINK. WHERE WERE YOU WHEN BILL WAS TOUCHING ME DOWN THERE?
WHERE WERE YOU WHEN HE FORCED HIMSELF ON ME?" Olivia yells at her mother.

"Olivia don't you ever talk about your stepfather like that. He did not touch you in that way." Serena yells back
at Olivia.

"YOU JUST SAT THERE, AND LET HIM KICK ME IN THE STOMACH. IF YOU CARED SO MUCH FOR ME. YOU WOULDN'T HAVE LET HIM
HURT ME." Olivia yells back at her mother.

"I was scard that he would have hurt me." Serena told her daughter.

"Yeah right, all you care about is your bottle. I don't want to see you. Please leave, go home." Olivia tells
her mother.

Serena turns around, and looks at her daughter.

"Don't worry, you will be coming home with your stepfather and me." serena yells at Olivia as she walks out of her
room.

Whoah, Serena is really f'd up. What mother lets this go on? Seriously, a good mother would rather themselves get hurt than their child. And if she's so "scared" of Bill she needs to leave him. Usually the hardest thing to do is the right thing to do. Yet again you've done an amazing job! Please continue.

Chapter 9

Mercy General - One week later:
The nurse comes into Olivia's room. Standing behind her are Bill and Serena. Olivia sees them, and starts
to yell.

"I DON'T WANT THEM IN HERE. I AM NOT GOING HOME WITH THEM!" Olivia yells at her parents and the nurse.

"Olivia calm down, we are here to take you home. Now let the nurse help you get ready to go." Bill tells Olivia.

Olivia looks over at her parents and the nurse. "Please ask them to leave while I get ready to go." Olivia tells
the nurse. The nurse escorts Bill and Serena out of the room. She goes back in and helps Olivia get ready
to go home. Olivia looks at her, and starts to shake.

"Please don't send me home with them." Olivia pleads with the nurse.

"There is nothing I can do about that. They are your parents, and they love you." The nurse tells her.

Olivia finishes getting ready, when she is finished, the nurse grabs the wheelchair, and escorts Olivia and
her parents to their car. The nurse waves goodbye as Bill drives away.

Elliot stands by the window, waiting for Olivia to get home. He keeps pacing by the window.

Noreen turns to her husband, and sighs.

"I can't believe they let her go home with them. Bill should be in jail, and Serena needs to be in rehab, and
Olivia needs to be living else where." Noreen tells her husband.

"I know how you feel, but it's none of our business. please don't go sticking your nose into other people's
business." Mr. Stabler tells his wife.

Noreen takes a picture of a little girl off of the mantle, and looks at it. Tears start running down her
face. Mr. Stabler takes his wife into his arms.

"I wish I could bring Lucy back for you, but I can't" Mr. Stabler tells Noreen.

"It's been two years since we lost Lucy in that drowning accident. I want to have another baby, I need to
fill the void of losing my daughter." Noreen tells Mr. Stabler.

"Are you sure you want to try again? Are you ready for another child around the house?" Mr. Stabler asks his
wife.

Noreen holds the picture against her chest, and nods. A few minutes later Elliot comes yelling at his parents
in the living room.

"Olivia's home, Olivia's home. I'm going over there now." Elliot yells at his parents as he jumps off the porch,
and runs over to Olivia's home.

Bill pulls up in the driveway, and sees Elliot standing there. He looks over at him.

Elliot walks by the car window. Olivia has the window rolled down. As Elliot passes the car window, their hands
touch. Elliot walks back to his house. Serena helps Olivia to the house, when they get inside Bill closes all
the drapes in the house, so that nobody looks in.

"Since you missed so much school, don't you think you should be doing your homework?" Bill asks her.

"Yes Bill I should do my homework." Olivia tells him.

"That's my girl." Bill smirks at her.

"I am not your little girl." Olivia tells him, as she walks up the stairs and to her room. Olivia is sitting
at her desk, when the phone rings downstairs. Olivia goes to the top of the stairs to listen. A few seconds
later Serena calls for her.

"Olivia, it's your friend Alex on the phone." Serena tells her. Olivia picks up the phone.

"Hello Alex. Glad to hear your voice." Olivia tells her friend.

"Casey and I want to know if you would like to come over and stay the night. Mom says it's ok." Alex asks Olivia.

"I-I don't know if my mom will let me. I will have to ask." Olivia tells Alex. Olivia hangs up the phone, when
she hears footsteps on the stairway. She goes back to reading her book. Bill walks by her room, and flashes a
sadistic smile at her. Olivia puts her head back down in her book, as Bill walks away.

Alex and Casey wave bye to their mother and start walking down the street towards the Harris house. As they
are walking past Fin's house, Fin comes out of his house.

"Casey, Alex where are you going?" Fin asks them.

"We are going to see if Olivia can come and stay the night with us." Casey answers him back.

"Oh ok, I will see you Monday at school." Fin tells them. Casey and Alex wave to Fin as they walk past.

Olivia's House:

Olivia heads downstairs, and sees her mother with a bottle of booze in her hands.

"I am not even home for a day, and you can't leave the stuff alone." Olivia yells at her mother.

"Don't you talk to your mother like that." Bill yells at her, as his fist comes across her face.

Serena stands up, and walks away from Bill and Olivia.

"Please mom, please help me." Olivia pleads with her mother.

Serena takes a drink of the booze, as another fist from Bill hits her in the face. Olivia starts to scream as
Bill starts dragging her out of the kitchen by her hair. He drags her into the living room, and throws her
down on the couch. He holds her down with his strong hand by her throat, as he tries to get his pants undone.


"PLEASE HELP ME, PLEASE SOMEONE HELP ME!" Olivia starts screaming at the top of his lungs.

"Nobody is going to help you." Bill tells a very frightened Olivia.

Hearing her screams Serena comes staggering into the room. She sees Bill on top of Olivia. She walks over to
Bill, and starts screaming at him.

"GET OFF OF MY DAUGHTER, YOU DISGUSTING PIG!" Serena yells at him.

Bill shoves Serena to the floor. "Shut up, she has to learn her lesson." Bill tells Serena.

"NOT BY RAPING HER." Serena yells at him back.

Coming up the walk, Casey and Alex hear the screams coming from inside. They both look at each other, and start
running up the walkway to Olivia's house. Casey gets to the porch. She looks inside and sees Bill strike
Serena in the face, and then turns his attention back to Olivia.

"Now you little Bitch, it's your turn." Bill tells Olivia.

"LEAVE HER ALONE. DON'T TOUCH HER." Bill hears a voice behind him. He turns around, when a shot rings out in the
Harris home.

Chapter 10

Bill falls forward on the couch. Casey runs into the living room, where she sees her sister Alex holding
the gun.

"I-I didn't mean to shoot him. He was hurting Olivia, I had to do something." Alex tells everybody, as the tears
are falling.

"Alex, where did you get the gun from?" Casey questions her sister.

"I found it on the table in the hallway. I grabbed it, all I wanted to do was scare him. I-I didn't mean to
shoot him." Alex tells Casey, as she drops the gun on the floor.

Olivia gets up off of the couch, and goes over to where her mom is lying on the floor. She glances over at
the lifeless body of Bill Harris. The man that had made her life a living hell. Olivia goes over and makes
sure her mother is ok.

"Mama are you ok?" Olivia asks her mother.

"Yeah, I am ok. I should have believed you when you told me about Bill. I am so sorry." Serena tells Olivia.

Olivia looks over and sees Alex on the floor rocking back and forth. She goes over to Alex.

"I am so sorry Olivia, I didn't mean to do it. Please if you hate me from now on, I won't blame you." Alex tells
Olivia.

Olivia puts her arms around her best friend. "You were protecting me, I would have done the same thing." She
tells her. The two best friends have a good cry together.

Meanwhile outside the crowds have gathered on the Harris lawn. They begin to wonder what is going on inside the
house.

"I wonder if it has happened. Has her mother gone off the deep end, and killed her daughter." One woman begins
to wonder.

Elliot runs over to the house, with his mother running after him. "Elliot please wait." Noreen yells at her son.

"I can't, I know something bad has happened to Olivia. I have to find out." Elliot yells back at his mother.

Elliot runs past the crowds, he feels a hand reach out and grab him. Elliot turns around and sees Fin's grand-
mother standing there.

"You don't want to go in there. Nobody is sure what is going on." Pearl tells Elliot.

Elliot breaks away from Fin's grandmother, and runs into the house. He runs into the living room, where he
sees Olivia, Alex, and Casey sitting in one corner huddled together, Serena is now sitting with her back aganist
a chair on the floor, and Bill's lifeless body on the floor. Elliot looks over towards the corner. He goes over
to where the girls are.

"Olivia what happened. Are you ok?" Elliot asks her.

"I'm fine. Bill tried forcing himself on me again. Alex found his gun in the hallway. She was going to scare him,
and she accidentally shot him." Olivia tells him.

Elliot sits down with his best friends. A few minutes later Fin walks into the living room. Fin goes over and
joins his friends. As the friends are sitting and talking the police walk into the room. They see Bill's body
lying on the floor. One of the officers walks over to it.

"Damn," The officer says.

The officer goes over to Serena, and begins to question her. Serena tells him, "that Bill had tried to rape
Olivia, and Olivia's friend Alex was trying to help her, when she shot Bill. She didn't mean to. She was so
scared. If anything, she needs some professional help."

The officer looks over at the kids in the corner. "Which one of you is Alexandra Cabbot?" He says to the kids.

Alex stands up. "I am sir." Alex tells the officer.

"Alexandra, you are going to have to come with me. You are under arrest for the murder of Captain Bill Harris."
The officer tells her, as he reads her rights to her. Alex is screaming and crying as the officer leads her
out of the house, and into the back of the squad car.

"Your mom will have to come down to the police station, they can't interview you unless your mother is there." The
officer tells her.

Everybody is shocked to learn what dirty little secrets had been going on behind the closed doors of the Harris
household.

Police station:

The officer leads Alex into the police station with her mother behind her. He opens the door to the intergation
room. "Please have a sit, and the detective will be here soon." The officer tells them, as he closes the door
behind him.

"Mom, I'm scared. I was only trying to help Olivia. He was being so mean to her." Alex tells her mother.

"Don't worry, we will get you a good lawyer. You should be out of here in no time." Brenda tells her.

A while later Munch walks into the room. "Hello Brenda, Alex I am going to try and help you out. You are going
to have to tell me the truth on what happened." Munch tells Alex.

"What will happen to Alex?" Brenda asks Munch.

"The worse that will happen to Alex is she will have to spend time at Larkhurst Girls Detention Center until she
is 21. The best possibility the D.A. will suggest that she gets some treatment for what happened." Munch tells
Brenda.

Brenda takes a deep breath. "Ok Alex tell Munch what happened." Brenda tells Alex.

Alex's story:

"Casey and I had called Olivia earlier, we wanted her to come over and stay the night with us. After we hung up
the phone we decided to go over and ask her mother if she could. First we stopped by Fin's house and talked with
him for a while. We then went over to Olivia's house. When we got there, we heard yelling coming from the house."
Alex starts to cry.

"Go ahead when you are ready." Munch tells her.

"We ran up the walkway, and onto the porch. Casey looked in the window, and couldn't see anything. I found one of
the windows looking into the living room opened. I looked in, I didn't mean to look in. I saw him hit Olivia's
mother, and then he-he took off his pants. He then forced her legs opened, and then he-he started getting on
top of her." Alex tells Munch as the tears continue to flow. Munch hands her a kleenex. Alex continues.

"I went into the house, the door was unlocked. I noticed the gun sitting on the table in the hallway. I didn't
think it was loaded. All I wanted to do was scare him. I wanted him to quit hurting Olivia. I yelled at him,
to get away from her. He turned around, and the last thing I remember was him falling foward on the couch, and
there was blood everywhere. I dropped the gun on the floor and collapsed to the floor." Alex finishes her
story.

Munch tells her thank you, and walks out of the room. He goes over to the coffee machine and grabs him a cup
of coffee. While he is having his coffee A.D.A Chester Lake walks in the precint.

"Hello Munch, I understand you have Alexandra Cabbot in there. I want her charged with murder of a decorated
police officer." Lake tells Munch.

"Hold on a minute, you can't be serious. That little girl in there saved a friend from being raped again, by
her stepfather." Munch tells him.

"A rape that never happened. Captain Bill Harris would have never done that to his family." Lake tells Munch.

"Look here, that little girl does not need to be in prison, she needs help. She needs to be with her family."
Munch tells Lake.

"Well the judge has decided other wise. Here a motion for you to arrest her, and charge her with first degree
murder."Lake tells him.

Munch grabs the envelope from Lake's hand, and storms back into the room. He looks at both Brenda and Alex.

"I'm sorry, but I have to charge Alexandra with murder." Munch tells Brenda.

"You can't do that, you promised you would help her." Brenda yells at Munch.

"I tried getting her out of here, but the A.D.A. wants to make an example of her. I am going to fight
for you Alex, you just hold in there. I will get you out of here." Munch tells Alex, as the officer cuffs
Alex and takes her to the holding cell.

He's dead and he's still winning, that bastard! I hope Alex makes it through this.

OMG!!!! This story is what I call, ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I just read the whole thing, and I CANNOT wait to see what happens!!!!!!! Does this mean that Serena will be a better mother since Bill's dead??? OMG!!!! I LOVED IT!!!! Update!! please?

Sorry about my last post, my computer was acting up last night. Here is the real chapter 11. Sorry it took so long to get the chapter up. My grandfather passed away this morning, so I hadn't felt like writing until tonight. Here is chapter 11.

Chapter 11

Police Station.
Munch sits at desk wondering how he can help Alex out. He ponders over the envelope in his hand. He finally
opens it up, and reads it. He is apalled as to what is written on the piece of paper. Munch picks up the phone
and calls judge Donnelly up.

"Hello, this is Donnelly." She says

"Munch here. I need to talk with you." Munch tells her.

"Sure, I will meet you in one hour." She tells Munch.

Munch hangs up the phone, and goes over to the holding cell where Alex is sitting on a cot.

"How are holding up?" Munch asks her.

"I'm doing ok. I want to go home, I'm sure my mom and Casey are worried about me." Alex tells Munch.

"Don't you worry. I am going to do everything I can, to get you out of here by tomorrow morning. Would you
like something to eat, perhaps a sandwich or a hamburger?" Munch tells her.

"I would like a hamburger." Alex tells him.

Munch smiles at her, and walks out of the precint, and heads for the courthouse.

Olivia's home.

Olivia sits at the kitchen table with her mother and a police officer. The officer looks over at
Olivia, and wants her to tell him what happened one more time.

"She has told you everything, please leave us alone." Serena yells at the officer.

"I need to make sure that what she is telling us is the truth." The officer tells her.

"Well if she is going to tell you anything, I am going to call a lawyer for her." Serena tells the officer.

The officer gets up from the table. "Well if there is anything else, please give us a call." The officer
tells Serena, before walking out of the house.

Serena looks over at Olivia, she puts her hand on Olivia's shoulder. Olivia pulls away from her mother.

"Please don't touch me." Olivia tells her.

"Olivia please, I want to help you. I messed up big time." Serena tells her.

"You don't care about me. You never have cared about me. All you care about is your bottle of booze."
Olivia yells at her again.

Olivia gets up from the table, and runs outside. "WHERE ARE YOU GOING?" Serena yells at her."

Olivia keeps running not turning back. Olivia runs to the park. She goes to the pond on the end of the path.
Olivia sits down on the old wooden bridge and starts to cry. As she is sitting there, she hears a voice behind
her. Olivia turns around, and sees Elliot standing there.

"How are you doing?" Elliot asks her, as sits down next to her.

"I guess I am doing ok. I am so worried about Alex. This is not her fault. It's all my fault, maybe if I had
been good. Then this would not have happened." Olivia tells Elliot.

"Liv, this is not your fault. A father or stepfather is not suppose to hurt you. They are suppose to do fun
things with you." Elliot tells her, as he puts is arm around her.

Olivia puts her arms around Elliot, and thanks him for being there.

"I'm not sure what I am going to do now? I don't want to go back home, I can't stand being around my mother."
Olivia tells Elliot.

"We'll think of something. Maybe you could stay with us for awhile. Come on, lets go ask my mom." Elliot tells
her, as he stands up, and starts running across the bridge, with Olivia following after him.

Courthouse Judge Donnelly's chambers:
Munch knocks on the judges chamber door. Judge Donnelly stands up from her chair, and walks over to the door.

"Hey John come on in. What do you have for me?" Donnelly asks him.

"I have this for you to read, and then give me your opinion." Munch tells her, as he hands her the envelope.

Donnelly sits down at her desk, and pulls out the piece of paper, and starts reading it. After reading the paper
she throws it down on her desk, and turns to Munch.

"What is Lake trying to do?" Is he trying to make an example out of an eight year old." Donnelly tells Munch.

"I agree with you, this young girl needs to be with her family, and get some counseling." Munch tells Donnelly.

"What did this young girl do?" Donnelly wants to know.

"She is the young girl who shot Captain Bill Harris." Munch tells her.

"Oh yeah, I heard about that when I got into work this afternoon." Donnelly tells him.

" What do you want to do? I mean this young girl was trying to save her best friend." Munch tells her.

"What do you mean, trying to save her best friend?" Donnelly questions Munch.

"According to the police report, Captain Harris decided to force himself upon his stepdaughter Olivia. Alex
saw this, and grabbed the gun on the table in the hallway. She yelled at him, and when he turned around she
fired the gun. I don't think she was trying to harm anybody." Munch tells her.

"I want everybody involved in this case here tomorrow at 10 in the morning. I'll have Alex released by the
afternoon." Judge Donnelly tells Munch.

Wow! I loved the Update!!! Reasons why we love Munch... I hope Alex doesn't go to jail!

I'm soooo sorry about your grandfather, My condolenses! Take as much time as you need to upfate...but too long!

Chapter 12
Elliot Stabler's home:
Elliot and Olivia come running through the front door, both of them out of breath.
"Mom, mom." Elliot yells down the hallway.

"Yes Elliot, what is it? Oh hi Olivia, how are you doing?" Noreen asks the two of them.

"I'm doing fine, Mrs. Stabler." Olivia tells her.

"Mom, can Olivia live with us?" Please may she?" Elliot pleads with his mother.

"Elliot I don't know, she does have a home, and a mother." Noreen tells her son.

"Yeah, but her mother doesn't care for her. Then maybe her mother could go and get some help for her
problem." Elliot tells his mother.

"Well she can stay the night tonight, and tomorrow we figure out something. By the way, we need to be in
court tomorrow morning. It's the judges orders." Noreen tells Elliot and Olivia.

"Will this help Alex out?" Elliot wonders. Noreen takes Olivia back to her house, to get a few things.
When they arrive at Olivia's house, Serena is sitting at the kitchen table, her head is down, and two bottles
of vodka are sitting empty beside her. Olivia looks at her mother in disgust. She then starts crying.

"She can't even stay away from the bottle. Sometimes I wish my mother was dead." Olivia tells Noreen.

"You don't mean that. We can get your mom some help, and she will get better." Noreen tells her.

"Yes I do mean it. She has been drinking for as long as I can remember. I am a consent reminder of what
happened to her." Olivia tells Noreen.

"What happened to your mother?" Noreen questions her.

"My mother was raped. I am the result of the rape." Olivia tells her.

Noreen takes Olivia in her arms. "We will see what we can do to get you and your mother the help you both
need to heal." Noreen tells her, as they walk back to the Stabler residents.

Courthouse courtroom B 10:00 am. Part 1

"Court will come to order. The honorable Judge Donnelly presiding." The baliff tells the courtroom.

Donnelly takes her seat at the podium. "You may all sit down. We are all here to determine if
Alexandra Cabbot shot Captain Bill Harris in self defense or was it delibrate." Donnelly tells them.

"Your honor, I don't see why we have to be here. It's clear that Alexandra shot Bill Harris, and she
didn't care." Lake tells the judge.

"Mr. Lake, please sit down. I will determine what happens in these proceedings." Donnelly tells him.

"Ms. Jefferies are you ready to proceed?" Donnelly asks her.

"Yes your honor, we are ready to proceed." Jefferies tells her.

"I am going to hear from each of the people who were directly involved with the shooting. I am going to ask
everybody else to please step outside of the courtroom. The courtroom is cleared, expect Alex, Olivia, Casey,
Serena, the two lawyers, Munch, and judge Donnelly. Judge Donnelly calls Olivia to the stand first.

"Please go ahead and tell us what happened." Donnelly tells her.

"I was upstairs studying when Alex and her sister Casey called me. They wanted to know if I could come over
and stay the night at their house. After I got off of the phone with them. I went downstairs, and saw that my
mom had been drinking again. I started yelling at her. Bill came up to me, and he hit me with his fist. My mom
just sat there. He hit me again. My mom got up from the table with her bottle, and started walking away. Bill
then drug me in the living room by my hair. He threw me down on the couch. He hit me one more time...." Olivia
stopped, as the tears were flowing from her eyes.

"Do you need a couple of minutes to compose yourself?" Judge Donnelly asks her.

"No I'm ready to continue. He then got up, I thought the worse was over, I was wrong. He undid his pants,
he then got on top of me, he took his right hand, and held me down. He was forcing my legs open, when I heard
a voice in front of me, I couldn't see who it was. Then the next thing I heard was a gun shot, and Bill feel
forward. There was blood coming out of his mouth. I looked up and saw Alex holding the gun." Olivia tells
everybody."

"Had Bill tried this type of stuff before." Judge Donnelly asks her.

"Yes a week before the shooting. He raped me, and then he tried to kill me as well." Olivia tells the judge.

A.D.A. Lake stands up.

"Do you have any proof?" He asks Olivia.

"What do you think I'm lying? Well I'm not lying. Why won't you believe me?" Olivia asks Lake with a scared look
on her face.

"Are you sure you are not making this up. Perhaps you didn't want to do your homework, and your parents made you.
You got mad, and made up a story about the rape."Lake tells Olivia.

"I didn't make it up. Bill Harris raped me." Olivia screams at Lake.

Lake sits back down. Judge Donnelly looks at everybody. "I am going to call a recess, we will proceed in one hour."
Judge Donnelly tells the courtroom, as she walks out of the courtroom.

You don't know how much I needed that update, it was extremely good. This story is by far one of the best I've read yet. I'm sorry about your grandfather, it's not easy losing family members. Take your time to update, and if you need anyone I'm here.

Chapter 13

Courtroom B Part 2

An hour goes by, everybody files back into the courtroom. The baliff stands at the front of the room.

"All rise, the honorable judge Donnelly now presiding." The baliff tells everybody. Judge Donnelly sits down, and
looks at everybody in the room.

"You can have a seat. First off I will not a circus in my courtroom. Is that clear A.D.A Lake?" She tells him.

"Yes your honor." Lake responds back to her.

"Do you have anything more with this witness." Donnelly asks him

"No more questions." Lake tells her.

Donnelly looks over at Jefferies. "Ok go ahead and call your next witness." Donnelly tells her.

"I call Alexandra Cabbot to the stand." Jefferies tells the courtroom. Alex stands up and goes to the podium.
Ms. Jefferies looks at Alex.

"Alex could you please tell the court what happened?" Jefferies asks her.

"My sister Casey and I had called our friend Olivia, we wanted to know if she could stay the night at our house.
After we called her, we decided to go over to her house, and see if she was ready to go. When we arrived at
Olivia's house. We heard someone screaming inside the house. We ran up to the porch. Casey tried looking in
the windows, but the curtains were all closed. I saw that a curtain had been left open. I know I shouldn't have
looked in, but I couldn't help it. When I looked in I saw Mr. Harris. He was on top of Olivia. I heard her scream
again. I got scared, I went into the house. I saw the gun laying on the table. I picked it up. I only wanted to
scare him, so he would get off of Olivia. I went into the living room. I saw Olivia's mother on the floor. I
yelled at Mr. Harris to stop. He turned around. I told him, to please stop. My hands were shaking so bad. I
thought the gun was empty, when I fired the gun, I didn't realize that I had hit anybody. Then I saw Mr. Harris
fall over forward. I heard people screaming, and then I blocked everything out." Alex tells the courtroom.

Donnelly looks over at Lake. "Do you have any questions for the witness, and remember if you start making this
proceedings into another circus, I will have you removed from this courtroom, and from these proceedings. Do I
make myself clear?" Donnelly asks him.

"Yes your honor." Lake responds.

"What did you do after you found out that Mr. Harris was dead from you shooting him?" He asks Alex.

"I was scared. I went and sat in a corner. Casey, Olivia came over and sat with me. A few minutes later two of
our friends Elliot Stabler, and Odafin Tutuola came in, and sat with us as well. Everything else is a complete
blank." Alex tells him.

"I have no more questions for this witness." Lake tells Donnelly.

"Ok is there anymore witnesses?" Donnelly asks.

"No your honor." Both Jefferies and Lake tell her.

"We will take a lunch break while I make my decision. Court is dismissed." Donnelly tells them.

Donnelly goes back to her chambers, where she sits and thinks about the case she has just listened to. Judge
Donnelly walks over to the window, and looks out onto the busy street down below. A while later the baliff
knocks on the door. "Judge Donnelly, it's almost time for court." He tells her.

"Ok, thank you." She tells him.

Donnelly walks back into the courtroom. She motions everybody to sit down. She takes the folder that is
sitting before her, and opens it up.

"First of all what we have here is a case of parenting gone wrong. I am going to address Mrs. Harris first, and
you had better listen. You put your daughter in harms way. You let your drinking get in your way of taking care
of your daughter. You let your husband hit her, and sexually abuse her... Serena stands up in court, and starts
to yell. "PLEASE SIT BACK DOWN. You are going to listen to what I have to tell you." Donnelly tells her.
Serena sits back down. Donnelly continues. "I am ordering that Olivia Benson be removed from Serena Harris's care,
and will remain in foster care until her Mrs. Harris completes 90 days in a drug and alcohol rehab center. Then
after she completes the 90 days, she will have only supervised visits with Olivia. I hope that you can turn your
life around, and be the mother you were meant to be.

Olivia sits there with her mom crying. Donnelly continues.

"Second. I am now going to address the issue of Captain Bill Harris. Alexandra what you did was save your
friends life. I was reading the reports from the hospital. It looks like Olivia spent a week in the hospital,
with bruises, contusions, her spleen and left kidney had to be removed. This came from the result of Mr.
Harris kicking her with his work boots. You looked in and saw a problem, you did the only thing, you could
have thought of that time. I am not going to send you to jail, or to juvenile hall."

Mr. Lake interupts. "Your honor what this young lady did, was kill a decorated officer. You can't let her go
free." He tells the judge.

"Mr. Lake, I am going to let this young girl go. To me she did the community a service. Now maybe the life of
a young girl can hopefully go back to normal. The healing is going to take a long time, and all the scars may
never heal. Alexandra I hear by release you, and I wish your family and you luck. Now I need to go back in my
chambers, and make a phone call to Riverview Children's Home. Olivia that is where you are going to stay until
we can find you a foster home." Donnelly tells her.

Olivia stands up. "I don't want to go away. I promise I will be good. I don't want to be away from my mommy."
Oliva tells the judge.

"Olivia, your mom needs to get some help for her drinking. If she completes the treatments, and other recommendations
that I am going to set forward for her. Then you will be able to be with your mom again." Donnelly tells her.

Judge Donnelly walks back to her chambers, and sits down at her desk. Just as she is picking up the phone, she
hears a knock on the door.

"Please come in." Donnelly tells the person on the other side.

The door opens and Noreen Stabler comes walking into the judges chamber.

"Your honor I would like to talk to you about becoming Olivia's foster parent." Noreen tells Judge Donnelly.

Chapter 14

Judge Donnelly looks over at Noreen.

"You would honestly take Olivia in to your home?" Donnelly asks her.

"Yes I would. She needs to have a stable home life. My husband Roger and I can provide that for her." Noreen
tells the judge.

Donnelly gets up from her chair, and walks over to the file cabinet. She pulls out a stack of papers from a
folder.

"I usually don't do this, but if you can have the applications filled out by 5:00 this evening, I will consider
having Olivia staying with you. You understand that this is only temporary. If you want to be her perment
foster parents, then you will have to file all the necessary papers, and have a home inspection." Donnelly tells
Noreen.

"Yes I understand. I had better get going, and get these papers filled out. See you at five." Oh by the way,
what happens to Olivia while I am filling out the paper work?" Noreen asks the judge.

"She can stay with you. I understand that you have a boy?" Donnelly asks her.

"Yes, Elliot. He is nine, him and Olivia are in the same class together at school. Well I had better get going."
Noreen tells Donnelly, as she walks out of the judge's chambers.

Noreen walks out of the courtroom. Elliot, Olivia, Alex, Casey,Fin and their mother are standing by the water
fountain. Serena is sitting on a bench near the water fountain. Noreen comes over to Olivia.

"Well Olivia, I have some good news for you. How would like to come and stay with us for awhile?" Noreen asks
her.

"Well I don't know. what about my mama, what's going to happen to her?" Olivia questions Noreen.

"Olivia, remember the judge told you, that your mom needs to get some help. When she gets better, then you
can go back home." Noreen tells her.

Serena looks over at the happy little party. She finally gets up and walks over to where everybody is standing.
She gives Noreen a dirty look. She steps closer to Noreen. Brenda steps in between the ladies.

"Serena, you need to leave. Don't start making problems for yourself." Brenda tells Serena.

"I'm not making problems for myself. I am going to make this little home wrecker's life hell." Serena tells
Brenda as she slowly backs away, and walks towards the elevator.

"How about we go out and celebrate. Milkshakes on me." Noreen tells the bunch. The kids get excited as they
walk out of courthouse.


After having milkshakes at the local ice cream palor. Noreen tells Elliot and Olivia that she needs to run
by the courthouse and drop off some papers. She drives to the courthouse. She goes up to the courtroom, and asks
to speak with Judge Donnelly. The baliff leads her to the judge's chambers.

"Judge Donnelly, Noreen Stabler here to see you." The baliff tells her.

"Ok, thanks, please come in." Donnelly tells Noreen.

"Here is that application." Noreen tells the judge.

Donnelly takes the application from her. She looKs over all the forms. She looks back over at Noreen.

"I have to consider this. I will let you know my decision in one hour." Donnelly tells her.

Sorry the chapter is so short this time. I have errands I need to run, and I need to get my oldest son
