I went up to Vancouver last weekend, so I took a detour through White Rock to see if I might possibly see them taping the show. Last fall when I was there they were setting up a scene in Crescent Beach (a smaller version of White Rock a few miles away) but I didn't have time to stick around for the actual taping and didn't see any of the actors, just crew.

Unfortunately last weekend they either weren't taping, or were filming elsewhere in the Vancouver area. However, my secondary goal was to find the house they use for Henry's beach house, as I was pretty sure it was somewhere along a trail on the beach in the town of Crescent Beach. It was so crowded (nice weather) I had to park outside of town and walk about 8 blocks back in, but it was worth it because...

I FOUND IT!!

I really wanted to go up on the porch for a pic but I'm trying to get my NEXUS card renewed and this wouldn't be a good time to get arrested in Canada!

Oh, and the name of the street that this house is on? I kid you not... "O'Hara Lane."

Thats just too cool for words. I'd like to know if theres a real place they use for SBPD, not just a set. I'd be all about taking my pictures there.

I used to have a question the back part of Henry's house because in the first few episodes. But i'm thinking now they used two different houses. In the first few episodes of the series they show backshots of Henry's house... the only reason we know it's Henry's house is because we see the red trim... but it's a one story house (or some weirdly structured house).

But anyways, thanks for showing us everything.

I wanna take a trip to Vancouver someday... but Michigan's so far away.

Glad you like the pictures! I only live about 3 hours south of Canada and I go up there a lot in the spring and summer to watch Vancouver Whitecaps soccer games (I used to know some of the players) and visit with friends.

I'll be up there again on the 26th/27th so I'll swing thru White Rock both days, just to check. Of course, if I actually saw some of the actors I'd probably drop my camera!

That's so cool. I would really like to visit White Rock, preferably during Psych's filming schedule LOL, but it really does seem like a cool place to go. I wouldn't make spending a few days up there relaxing, but Chicago...is quite far from there.
