google it... or even better... wikipedia it. It's actually pretty darn cool. Then again, I could easily be called geek or nerd and not take too much offense.

So, I'm watching CSI and there's a guest star that I keep thinking "He looks familiar..."

Finally I realized.. he was Robert/Regina/Martin Brody from "Who Ya Gonna Call?"! Another actor looked familiar too (pothead at the beginning of the ep and witness)... need to find out where I know him from.

Well, cable can be $30-$40 a month... it is an extravagance a student like me can't really handle, loan debts are big enough for 8-9 years of 'higher education' without spending money on something so frivolous.

Plus, that's why we have Hulu!

Yeah, I know. I'm getting new glasses in the near future. I figure my eyesight has gone further downhill...always an uplifting visit to the optometrist.

Yeah... I need new glasses, but need to wait for decent insurance first. Student insurance doesn't help much.

You know that's right! I'm putting my tax refunds to work....it's about the only way I can avoid "budget glasses".

I do pretty well, but night time is especially difficult... I don't enjoy driving at night much due to it

I need new glasses too, I'm starting to get headaches again when I'm reading.

Now that I think about it, the past year or two I've had more headaches. I had been attributing them to the stresses of grad school, but maybe it is my glasses... hadn't thought of that! (My eyesight is bad enough that I have to always wear them... though I'm not far sighted and don't need bifocals, my near sightedness is so bad I can't even read without my glasses because I need the book 6" away for it to be in focus without them. So my glasses go on first thing when I wake up, and last thing off at night before I sleep.)

I need to get glasses too

Just about, or so it appears... I've been four-eyed since 5th grade (and needed them at *least* a year before that), my entire family wear glasses... though my mom and my vision is much worse that the guys'.

I first got mine in 3rd or 4th grade. I was at the mall today and found a really nice pair at JCPenney. Gonna go buy them in the next couple of weeks. I'm stoked to find new ones. Hopefully that'll help with my headaches, which have been extremely frequent lately.

On a completely different topic (though glasses and crappy eyesight are *oh so* exciting...)

Life has a funny way of working itself out... at least for me. I can find myself needing to make life changing decisions, and then end up with situations that make it clear what the right choice is.

On another note (and much less philosophical)... did I mention how much I love Hulu?

I love Hulu too! Especially that thing where you can make the rest of the screen dark. I get way too excited about that.

Personally, I prefer Full screen to darken screen, but awesome all the same...

I just wish Psych would hop on the closed captioning wagon. If you've ever seen Bones or House on Hulu, you can get CCs on the eps. I love that. I have perfectly normal hearing, but use captions whenever I can... helps me catch all those jokes, or words that may be slightly covered by background music... not to mention, when watching online things can get a bit choppy and captions will fill in gaps.

This is something I'm struggling with right now, but I've got a feeling that if the past is any sort of guide for me, things will present themselves to help me ultimately discern the right choice.



Hulu pretty much rocks, yes. I love that I get to watch lots of shows from when I was a kid, in addition to catching up on Psych and the like.
